As Las Vegas locals, my husband and I decided to enjoy a one-night staycation close to home, and The Resort at Summerlin was the perfect choice. As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, staying here was a no-brainer. Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of both the golf course and the Las Vegas Strip. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that my Gold Elite status included access to the spa amenities. We spent over an hour enjoying the spa facilities, including the hydro lounge, spa pool, hot tub, sauna, waterfall deluge showers, and relaxation areas. We even ordered a snack poolside before heading to dinner, which made for a relaxing afternoon. The Rampart Casino was a lot of fun, with a great selection of slot machines. We actually ended up taking home more money than we spent, which is always a win in our book! Between the comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, enjoyable casino, free valet parking, great restaurant options, and outstanding customer service, this was a fantastic staycation experience. This is only about their Casino. Cocktail Servers were scarce. When I finally saw one of them while checking out other slot machines, I asked if I can have water and the replied I got was I don't have an extra. I ended up buying a bottle of water from Earl Grey. Their slot machines were tight the other night (Saturday.) We (3 of us) lost $500 each. I went to Rewards Center to see if I need to update my player's card since they changed the property name from Rampart Casino to The Resort at Summerlin. I was asked to walk across from their desk to use the kiosk as they no longer do it themselves. I got a new card but when I inserted it to a slot machine, it didn't work! I went back to Reward Center to complain and I was sent back to the kiosk ! read more

Overall a nice casino, no one calls it Resort at Summerlin, it's the Rampart Casino. Great variety of slots and casino bars. A recent remodel gave the place a new High Limit bar and new Food Hall. They now have 2 high limit rooms and 2 high limit bars. The bartenders in the high limit rooms usually make really good drinks. Ai Pazzi is a great new restaurant with a great new happy hour. OG restaurant Hawthorn Grill also has a decent happy hour. Another new restaurant is Wineaux, the Valley's second location. It looks like it should be at the Bellagio. A new patio adds to this lovely place's appeal. A long time restaurant, Clubhouse Deli, is closing, I was told by employees on June 4. It will house the Summerlin Room, a lounge for player's club VIPs. There are a few parking options, a garage or surface lots. I park on surface so can't evaluate the garage. I'm usually able to find a spot in the west surface lot, which is close to the Food Hall. Weekly promotions for slot players include Fri-Sat drawings for cash & slot play. Weekly gift giveaways are only until 7 pm so I rarely participate. The client base includes a lot of seniors and the casino is always changing things up to attempt to gain a younger clientele. PPQ E. This was actually our second visit to the newly remodeled Summerlin Resort and just like the first time we had a fabulous experience. We stopped by the Oyster bar (our newest, favorite place) and had a great time with the stafff (Lee and Rinalda are exceptional) ... the food was great and their company was more than pleasant. From there we hit the casino floor, the machines were paying well but the cocktail servers were scarce. Overall though our experience was more than satisfying and we fully intend to go back again. My family came down from California for Father's Day weekend, and we rented a cabana at the pool. We've stayed at many pools on and off the Strip over the years, but the service at this resort is truly exceptional--especially from Jazz. Jazz is kind, friendly, genuine, and consistently goes above and beyond. This is probably our third visit to the pool this year, and while the pool itself is beautiful, what really sets this resort apart is the way guests are treated. Jazz and the entire team make every visit feel special. Jazz is truly a gem in the desert. Slammin Jammin on a Saturday night. We came for dinner to Ai Pazzi and hung out for a little gambling and a night cap. They were pumping here with people everywhere but seemed to have a bit of a shortage of drink attendants walking the casino floor. I didn't see a one all night. The only thing in life that is certain is change. I had a master plan of late checkout at 2 PM and to be at the airport by 3 PM. Well I got booted out of the hotel at noon (not hard booting just the normal checkout time). Why is it that you have to checkout of a hotel at noon b and you never can check in before 4 PM? Does it really take 4 hours to clean a room. Checking out at noon meant I had 5 hours before my flight and plenty of time to kill. So I decided spend an hour in the casino. Horrible experience there. It used to be a decent place to go eat, play, and have a bit of fun. Now the staff is rude, slots don't pay and is extremely noisy. They turn the machines down to the point of being illegal. This is definitely not a place to go to have any fun or good dining. I will never waste my time or money visiting there again. read more

The cons; my chest hurts from the smokers. A new ventilation system is needed, or make the place smoke free. No poker room, had Red Rock down the street, but why lose clientele? I lived in Las Vegas for over four years and in that time I only spent one night at Rampart Casino thanks to a dinner reservation at the Hawthorn Grill, but that changed last night. It was my mother in law's birthday and she wanted to play some bingo so we figured we would hit up the closest casino at the time and that just so happened to be Rampart. We showed up here around 8PM and the casino floor was absolutely packed. The tables were full, the slot machines were full, the restaurants were busy, and everyone seemed to be having a pretty good time. Now, as a four year Vegas local I found myself at casinos like the Palms and Palace Station since I lived close by but the vibe of this place was definitely very laid back and everyone seemed to be enjoying themself. Once we found it, we headed into the bingo room to play on the tablets and have a good (not great since we lost, but still) and had a pretty good time doing so. The round we played ended up being around 60 minutes and the free drinks (coffee, juice, pop) really won me over, so thanks for the three cups of starry and root beer I indulged in. Overall, the Rampart Casino was a great time and I'll definitely try and stop back in in the future when I end up back in Las Vegas. My family had a great time playing bingo (even though we all lost) and a buddy of mine rant and raved about how well they treat locals so this place gets a thumbs up form me. read more

I don't understand all these complaints about losing at this casino. The games are not full past machines. They are designed to eventually take all your money eventually. Yes, it is nice to win once in a while. But the pay tables for the video poker machines are some of the best in Las Vegas. But if they are not over 100 % payback, you will lose your money eventually. I don't know how high the slot machines are set to compared to other casinos but those games are designed to take your money faster than the video poker machines. read more

We went to the Buffet and this could be one of the best buffets in town. The variety of food is outstanding, and the cost is worth the value. Each night the buffet has a theme for every night and it very busy and the food is fresh and the serving staff are friendly. read more

Rating is only for the cocktail waitress in the bingo room. I may be wrong but I was told it was with their help that the beverage center in the bingo room was well serviced. I went on a Tuesday evening and the Pepsi dispensers were not working correctly only dispensing a clear liquid. Other players complained that it was like that all day. I let the cocktail server know and she said she would report it so it could be fixed. I then went on Friday evening and the coffee dispenser would not dispense any coffee. Other players mentioned there was no coffee for several sessions.This is where the one star rating comes into play. This was our first time at Rampart Casino and we've been in Las Vegas for over 14 years! Rampart Casino is located in Summerlin off of Summerlin Parkway and Rampart. Parking is free! You can choose to park outside or inside their complimentary parking garage. Rampart Casino is situated within the JW Marriot Las Vegas Resort & Spa. The casino floor at Rampart casino has a wide range of gaming selection such as slot machines and video poker. Rampart casino also has other amenities such as fine dining and quick service options. It is rare that I would even visit this casino in the area. Spacious, stress free, free public parking, good restaurant selections, very walkable all around, beautiful sceneries inside/outside, and more. Plenty of parking spots. Land is huge. Gardening landscape is beautiful. The casino and JW Marriott hotel is connected. I was impressed with the building architecture and walkway leading towards the hotel direction. Absolutely gorgeous. One of the favorites is Market Place Buffet with good deals and great foods. It feels different or stands out from other hotels/casinos. It feels calm, quiet, and simple with many good looking spots to sit and look outside natural surroundings and huge windows. I think this casino is underrated on Yelp. Casino is not fully packed with customers or smokes from cigarettes. This is a place for walking around and dining at steakhouses or catching up at spacious coffee shops. Many events or weddings are held at the hotel and conference room areas. Not cheap. This is really a very good 5-stars experience if you're coming to Las Vegas to relax. The photos describe the place exactly as it appears. Not many people come out this way. Real estate prices in the surrounding neighborhoods aren't cheap either. We would've never have thought about coming to Rampart Casino if it weren't for our relatives who live in Vegas and suggested we meet here from Monday brunch. For starters, it's a good way off the strip in Summerlin, but when driving into this property I was pleasantly surprised and happy, it was a JW Marriot hotel and casino. You can only expect good things from this point on. The exterior of the hotel was something you'd expect from a Marriot hotel so that didn't disappoint. Free self parking is located on the right and they also offer Valet parking when pulling up to the front entrance. We opted for valet parking. Walking into the hotel, you're greeted with machines then tables, I'm not sure what type of tables or what the limits were, but I did see Black Jack. We actually ate at the buffet so I wasn't paying much attention but the carpet was new and the table's were open. The buffet was excellent, choices were Italian, Chinese, American and of course green salad and desserts. Cost was approximately $20 something a person but I thought a great value. read more

Stayed 5 nights at this Casino Hotel in Summerlin. Was looking for a more relaxing atmosphere than my usual stays on the strip. This place delivered on most of what I was looking for. The staff and employees were friendly and welcoming. The casino wasn't huge but big enough. Sports book was also a decent size. They don't have a lot of tables but they have enough for the amount of table players that decided to press their luck. Table dealers and pit bosses were friendly (which is where I spend most of my time). The property is clean and seems to be safe and well lit. Spa, restaurants, Starbucks all on premises. High Limit Slots .... Not really a thing here. Little to no assortment at or above the $5 denomination. Rooms are nice but they are fairly far from the casino and the parking structure. Overall broke even, gambling about 5 hours a day there on average durning my stay. I will definitely be back when I want a more relaxed stay in Sin City read more

For the price I think Rampart offers the best buffet now in Las Vegas. The other place on the strip still is the reigning champ but at double the price, I don't think so, way too many choices and way too crowded. Value wise I would come here instead. The prime rib was surprisingly very excellent for a buffet, I know, I do love prime rib. Their fried chicken was pretty darn good and the best part the butt was still attached to the thigh. The sausage, I would pass on, there was no flavor and it was a little overcooked. My favorite, broccoli rabe was in my opinion s little overcooked, I would have liked it with a little bit more crunch to it. It was still good but a little too overcooked for my liking. I tried a little of the short rib ravioli, all I can say is yum, a meal by itself if I was to order just an entree. The item that stood out was the Singaporean style curry chicken, wow was that good, I could eat that all the time with some rice. I certainly hope they keep this on the menu for the buffets, if all the rest of the items were mediocre, I could just have this alone with rice. I tried a little of their clam chowder, it was okay, it was not creamy enough, as if no milk was used to make this soup. For the salads I did have their wedge salad and a little ceasar with red onions and black olives. The wedge salad was a nice portion in their individual serving containers, just enough bleu cheese to satisfy most people. I of course couldn't pass up on their gelato's but probably should have passed on them, I simply probably had too much to eat. I had both their cappuccino and chocolate in sugar cones, gelato or ice cream simply tastes better in sugar cones. The best part of this meal was they had pineapple juice, that's a big plus at any buffet. There so many good choices in their buffet that something will be interesting to you. For one the place is huge like a mall and even has its very own map but can navigate easily. Can I just say the buffet there though expensive is phenomenal!! Kept going back for more and had about 3-4 plates because it was so good. Really recommend the chicken breast with the grilled peppers on the side and the mushroom risotto!! Chefs kiss!!
