So so good and authentic! We were in the area and I got on Yelp and found this place, so glad we did! We started with the fresh spring rolls (#1 on the menu). They were super fresh! Love the peanut sauce. I got a pad Thai with beef and my husband got some kind of pork belly with a fried egg on top of rice. We both loved our meal! I had enough left over for another meal. Came here for lunch one day. I was quite surprised how big the restaurant was. It seems like there are two separate rooms. I ordered the Thai iced tea and the basil fried rice. The Thai iced tea was fire, but the basil fried rice was mediocre. My wife had one of the Thai noodle dishes, and I thought it lacked flavor as well. After talking to the staff, I learned that the owners are Burmese, so I'll come back to try those dishes, which looked pretty good. I would suggest tone down the music a bit as it might not be for everyone. read more

They let you pick your spice level. They also have additional spice and other condiments on a convenient caddy on each table. I love seeing a place like this in Bixby. The spring rolls are absolutely wonderful! Dan and I split an entree and an order of spring rolls. It's the right amount of food. If I had to choose between an entree and spring rolls, I would definitely go with the spring rolls. They are so crisp and fresh with just the right amount of mint. They are served with knock your socks off sauce. We asked for extra sauce. We split an order of green curry, which is very flavorful. Since we were splitting the order, we got the dinner portion, but I think the lunch portion would have been ample. We could only eat half of it. How I love it when I eat at an Asian restaurant with a large group and everyone orders something different and we share everything including appetizers. For years, I've been a patron of their location at 31st and Sheridan, and tonight, I had the pleasure of experiencing their new location in Bixby on Memorial by the YMCA! It is in a former Mexican restaurant. I finally came back after 8 months of empty promises. A lot can change in 8 months, which can be good or bad. I am thrilled to say the change was not just good, it was great. It's statistically unlikely that everything on the menu at a restaurant is good but as long as you stick to the Thai food lane at Lisu, the odds are in your favor. They were able to improve the pad kee mao (drunken noodles), my favorite dish. The dish was great 8 months ago but it was oily. Well, not anymore my friend, the grease is now gone, and the texture of the flat noodles remained intact. If you are looking for a trendy or fancy restaurant, then this is not it. Excellent Thai Restaurant in South Bixby Lisu Thai has a very comprehensive menu of Thai and other Asian cuisines. They are conveniently located at 133rd and Memorial Dr in Bixby. The sit-down style restaurant restaurant has plenty of room for individual guests or larger groups, and has a pleasant and restful atmosphere. The staff are courteous and helpful and the wait times are minimal. Take-out service is also available. The food is excellent. They have a number of lunch special options, but also offer a wide variety of popular appetizers and entrés that should please everyone. I have eaten here at least three times, and have brought co-workers as well. All are impressed by the range of options, the quality, and hospitality. Recently took the oldest Daughter and Grandson to lunch at Lisu Thai. Daughter started with Chicken Satay and had Pad Thai for an entree. I went with the Drunken Noodles just to have something different. The satay was flavorful and properly cooked. Not dry at all and boasting a mild curry flavor as expected. Her Pad Thai was also well done. It was a little spicier than she's used to, but she liked it a lot. The drunken noodles indeed had a little heat to them, but it worked for the dish. It also had a suble flavor that I can't quite describe. The closest I can come is a sweet-smoky flavor similar to a wok-hai flavor. Whatever it was, it pushed the dish over the top for me. Service was fast and friendly, with our drinks being topped off regularly. Overall, a great first experience. read more

Hailing from the Bay Area in CA, this is sincerely the only Thai place in Oklahoma I have found to be anywhere near authentic in flavor. One star off solely because service seems to be lackluster and aloof. FOOD: - due to my allergies to coconut, my go to at Thai places is always basil beef or basil pork also known as pad kra pao - I ordered their stir fry basil ground pork reasonably priced around $12 for dinner - it was neat that their ground pork wasn't ground pork but teeny chopped up slices of meat - the flavor is on point and no restaurant in Oklahoma has ever hit the craving as this one did SERVICE: - aloof - takes the order and immediately goes to the back/the kitchen - at least it isn't robotic - appreciate them assuming I used chopsticks (they at least ask what utensils you will like) PARKING: - in a plaza - should not be too difficult to find a spot - it's kind of a shady, sketchy ambience though... They moved to Bixby now. From the moment I walked into Lisu Thai Kitchen I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff greeted me with a warm smile, and the atmosphere was cozy yet bright. I ordered the beef with green beans and asked for it "Thai-hot" level - the beef was tender and the beans crisp, and the flavor balanced beautifully. The fresh veggie spring rolls with peanut-kick dipping sauce were a delicious start. Everything arrived promptly and tasted freshly made. Best curry in Tulsa, great service! The owners are so nice & all of the food is very flavorful.

Food fresh to order, so far so good no disappointments. I have revisited this place the most since I've moved to Tulsa.

The good: Spice level was where it should be so no complaints on the spice or taste of food. Service was very good even at lunch time. The bad: Noodles in the pad thai were a bit undercooked and not as thin as they should have been. A rice noodle should be much thinner and more tender. The chicken in the pad thai was almost non-existent... if you order pad thai with chicken you expect to get more than 1 single tough piece of overcooked chicken breast, which truth be told was probably less than I would have gotten in a single chicken nugget from Chick-fil-a. Other diner had a dish which was also supposed to have chicken but was also pretty much chicken free though they did get some egg in the dish... although the added piece of eggshell were not needed or desired. Pretty much the problem seemed to be a lack of care in how the dishes were cooked and being far to cheap with the meat. In the future I will probably make my own pad thai at home where it might not be as convenient but it will contain enough meat that it won't leave me hungry an hour after I finish. read more

Starting with the spring rolls filled with fresh crisp lettuce, julienne carrots, and shrimp, with a perfect flavorful dipping sauce. A refreshing start to the meal. I had seen pictures of the Khoa Soi Noodles on Yelp and Google reviews. The picture drew me in. I had no clue what it was, until I read the menu. After reading the description of the ingredients, I knew it was my meal. Onion, lime, cilantro spicy coconut milk, red curry, crunchy noodles and a secret ingredient, sour mustard. I ordered it with chicken, which was a good serving of tender sliced chicken breast. This was an amazing bowl of noodles and soup. The perfect amount of heat and the sour mustard was the flavor surprise that set this apart from any Thai food I have had. This was delicious! My wife had the Pad Thai which she rated as excellent. I believe it's the first place in Tulsa that serves Khao Soi which is a coconut curry noodles dish that we enjoy. It was only the fourth day of their opening. The ambience is definitely casual, in the sense that it's a in-and-out style place with fast, courteous service. The restaurant itself smelled like cigarettes, but I try not to be judgmental of this. There have been many restaurants that smell similar and do a decent job at getting good food to the table. If you're pretentious, stay away. Haha. Portions are smaller but they're priced so fair that I really didn't mind and it allowed me to try multiple things. The basil fried rice was just okay, a little more greasy than it was flavorful and the basil was still attached to the stem instead of incorporated into the dish. I pulled it out and kept eating. As a country raised girl, greasy food doesn't bother me so much. Just something to note. All in all, it was an average experience. I will likely be back for the pork dumplings . read more
