I've had my hair colored blonde and bleached for years and multiple times here to know it wasn't damaged to a point what I was asking for wasn't feasible. I now have orange hair with no refund because they thought only clarifying shampoo with no additional toner would be enough I know my hair well enough to know that would never work and they are refusing to refund. Were VERY nasty with their attitudes regardless of how upset I was (almost cried) and with me being a reoccurring client. Owners are now refusing to speak to me. Highly unprofessional and truthfully extremely low class behavior given I was SO beyond nice and sweet in my original concerns voicing that I just didn't like my hair at all. My hair is now tons of different colors in different lighting when I was very clear I wanted my sides to match my roots and the face frame to be a blonde she previously toned me with. My inspiration picture was for placement of the blend only. It got to a point they were trying to convince me I told her I wanted black hair which would never be a thought in my mind because I hate my hair dark. (Blonde picture of me is what I was trying to convey for my face frame color which she has done on me many times previously). Do not recommend at all. The moment you express a concern they might scream at you. Specifically Anjelica was the rudest one raising her voice and putting words in my mouth that were never said. She screamed at me multiple times in the salon and over the phone. Rather than want to make sure her client was happy she decided to yell and argue like trash instead.

That alone is unprofessional and leaves a bad taste. Tips are not supposed to be demanded or mentioned unless the person says so the demanding culture is ridiculous. I haven't been back till October 22 nd because I had a special event on October 23rd and couldn't wait for an appointment with the woman who I usually go to. It was on the PRICEY END OF MY BUDGET BUT THEY DID A GREAT JOB but everything is SO DARN EXPENSIVE THAT I AM UNDECIDED IF I WILL RETURN AGAIN. I give it all high marks for the services, atmosphere and quality. I believe that the prices in Most salons are very high end but one needs to understand that this is 2025 and EVERYTHING IS WAY HIGHER IN PRICE ESPECIALLY IN NEW YORK CITY. You can go cheaper when you are just looking for a mediocre job but you get what you pay for and my hair is my shining star so I will have to pay for excellence. For the haircut and dying my roots with a blowout came out to about $200 dollars plus tips. If I was to have my entire head also highlighted could easily cost me $200 bucks more. Can I/ will I spend $400.00 every 3-4 months and approximately 200 dollars every 6-8 weeks for maintenance? I don't know but they do a very good job so I will have to see my financial situation at the time.

I had my hair done for senior prom yesterday by Tony, who did an incredible job. He has never worked with my hair before (I have thick hair that is not easy to manage) but he was so patient and precise about how it looked. I didn't really know what kind of style I wanted so he helped me figure it out...I pretty much just trusted him to do whatever he thought would look best based on the style and neckline of my dress. For the last 20 years I have been a light blonde with a full head of highlights. I got sick for over a month and then had an accident and fractured 2 of my vertebrae so my gray hair was really horrible. I asked the owner if she could make my hair blonde all over but I wanted to not do highlights at that moment. She said sure see the blonde towards the middle to ends especially I can make you all blonde and get rid of all the grey. My husband was with me and asked for the price with a haircut. She quoted $50 fir for haircut and just roots was $50 and entire head of hair dyed would be $90 plus the haircut. I kind of felt that was a bit cheaper than I expected and reiterated that I would have all blonde hair as I had just get rid of the 3 inches of gray roots. She said absolutely. I made an appointment with her for a few days later. I went to the appointment and again made sure she understood that I wanted all blonde hair but no highlights this time. Highlights can be tricky and I needed to see her base work first. She put on the haircolor throughout my hair and I just waited to get washed out and have my hair cut. After she washed my hair and put a towel on my hair I sat in her chair and she removed the towel. I was Aghast! My hair looked brown o my god! She assured me that it was wet and when she blew it out it would be much lighter. She gave me a great haircut but as it was blown out dry I had light brown hair. She reassured me to give it time and my hair would lighten up a lot. My husband came back and liked the cut a lot but asked me why my hair was so dark and not blonde. He was also reassured that it was going to get lighter as I washed my hair. I was NOT HAPPY but I was pleased that the grey was gone. I must have been in shock because I didn't carry on about the color as I should have and let my husband pay her $155 cash plus I even paid her a 25.00 tip. I'm not one to start making a fuss and carry on in a place of business. Before I left I said It's not blonde and I received the same answer again. I should give it time to lighten up. It must have been the pain radiating from my fractured vertebrae I just wanted to go home and rest in my bed. Everyone that saw me after my botch hair appointment asked me why I made my hair dark. It never lightened up(how stupid was I)? I went back to talk to her a few weeks later because she said give it time. She blatantly lied to me about what she promised and had told me. She asked what I wanted her to do and I said give me some money back for color correction charges which I now have to have. She replied that I waited to long and she wasn't going to do anything. I was angry but she had another client in the store and it's not me to carry on in public. I cry every time I look in the mirror at my brown/reddish hair and just want to shave my head bald. STAY far away from this shop and young owner if you need your hair dyed. Don't be victimized by her lies. I'll never know why I went into that empty shop but I can prevent someone else.
