Had to update my review now that this shop had been open for a while. I have never been to a shop this cool. Where the employees are actually helpful and you can actually feel welcomed. The prices are good. Now with the new reward program they give you more bang for your buck. Colin is the owner and is very knowledgeable about the #vapelife his manager Joe is just as knowledgeable about vapor products. They are always updating their juice lines and stay stocked with the latest and greatest products. I recommended this shop. I have been to numerous vape shops and this is the one I now call home. in my experience It seems some San Antonio shop are over priced. I called in to check some prices on juice as I was stuck in traffic and didn't Want to waste my time. James answered the phone and I went ahead and asked the prices on different size juices. James immediately said he wouldn't give me the prices over phone, which was a shock I've called diff shops before and they'll give me a range depending on ML and brands. Now James refused and said i would need to go over to the shop. Now in my opinion that's bad service. I get he may want to bring customers in but the fact that he wouldn't give me a some general info and seemed offended about the question make me not want to go in. Most likely has overpriced goods. I bought my first starter kit vape here and they were super helpful in the process. I just wanted a basic vape for the tasty flavors because I don't even smoke. They have what seemed like 3000 flavors of juice and lots of choices to sample. It was a pretty cool spot right off the access road along Fredericksburg and 410. Close to the Mexican restaurant, inside they were playing the new mortal Kombat lol and everyone working was helpful. Also joined their frequent buyer program on belly for points towards free juice and more discounts. Overall great experience and I even got 10% off for checking in on yelp. RUN......Run far away. James sold my elderly aunt a very small bottle of cbd oil for $150! She went in because she heard that cbd could help her arthritis pain and he took advantage of her. The SAME EXACT BOTTLE is being sold online for $34.99! He also sold her a bottle of gummies that she couldn't even take out of the container because they were all melted together. I am extremely disappointed and very upset that this owner is taking advantage of elderly customers that are just going in because they are desperate to feel relief. He is a crook. read more

This is great shop. The manager went out of his way to assist me in my time of need. I needed a TFV4 for glass and it was around closing time so this was my last hope after going to three other places and he came through and actually gave me his own personal glass and said he would just wait till shipment came in few days later. I was surprised to see the vast selection of juices they stock. Some I never had even heard of before. The manager recommended some flavors that I was in to although I was not looking for juice on this trip, however after tasting some mighty good flavors I left with Heady Drips - Bruce Lee flavor. Definitely recommend this store. Of course because I always want to shop somewhere where you know you will be taken care of and somewhere that has kindness and good vibes but also because you will be pleasantly surprised of the top notch juice they have. This is the best vape shop I've visited in San Antonio! Jo Hanz, the assistant manager, helped me out and he was phenomenal at suggesting flavor options...very friendly. Although I've been in shops with wider varieties of juice, the variety at RPV was both extensive and of a high quality...and according to Jo they make sure that the stay in-stock (which is an issue most of the other vape shops I've visited in San Antonio). I'd highly recommend this place to anyone...and I plan on going back myself. read more

Driving on the other side of town that I don't usually make it out too, I came across this shop. Very glad I gave it a try! Jo was very kind and down to earth. His puppy girl, Diamond greeted me at the door. Let me just say she is beautiful and SOOO sweet. I hope she is your mascot! The facility was clean and organized. There prices are comparable to other vape shops and that is really convenient honestly. I only paid 3-5$ more than I usually do. Jo helped me out greatly by picking out a few brands/ flavors that I was not familiar with. And I have to say I am happy with the product I received! The guy there was stand offish, wouldn't let me try the only flavor I was interested in without a quarter. Just not a customer service kind of place. Almost like going into a gun range were the staff thinks there so special cause they own a gun shop and get cocky with you. I was a customer of another vape store, which made me feel stupid because I did't know much. I went to another where they made me feel that "this old lady" didn't belong in their store. I saw that Rising Phoenix was open where there used to be another vape store. I went in expecting the worse but was wonderfully surprised!!!
