This yoga studio is conveniently walkable to me so that's a star right there! Everyone I met today was welcoming and kind. I took a flow yoga class using ClassPass today. I'm a little rusty but it didn't matter. I still got a great stretch and workout in. There was plenty of space and fresh air. They offer lots of classes that I'm looking forward to trying out. The teacher was very friendly and helpful. I like that they used token where if you face it one direction it means you are cool with being touched and corrected and faced the other way for please leave me alone. A great way for consent ! The facility and clean and cozy and they offer a variety of classes included hot yoga. There is also a bathroom with showers and everything was very well taken care of. My absolute favorite workout studio! I have been a member for almost two years and cannot rave enough about the River. Their three studios are conveniently located for most of Denver, every teacher is super welcoming, and their space and classes are perfect! My only slight complaint it there are not as many class options on the weekends, but I make it work with their offerings. I love having a buddy pass each month and getting to bring my friends to try out their amazing classes! Street parking at their Sunnyside location can be challenging so arrive early. read more

I couldn't find the Yelp listing for the five points location, but consider this review for five points, where I've been a few times, because I've never been to the sunnyside location. I've been to quite a few yoga studios in the downtown Denver area, and this yoga studio stands out to me mostly because of the ambiance. Other hot yoga studios feel like a box with as many people crammed into it as possible. Not the river yoga! They have a beautiful giant tree decoration and an artsy inspirational quote on the wall and extra nice wooden floors. It's kind of hard to describe, but the ambiance makes the yoga workout feel extra relaxing. I think the instructors here are really good about making the workout flow. Note that if you don't have your own yoga mat, they charge $3 for you to borrow one. read more

ClassPass offered this studio and thought I give it a try. The studio is part of an apartment complex and across from the railroads. Nice location, but street parking can be challenging. I got lucky and there was one spot left. You'll probably have to park in the residentials as an alternate option. The studio felt like a yoga studio, unlike the last few studios I've been going to. Quite modern with high ceilings and have a ton of cubbies for you to store your belongings. We were in the studio facing the street. This studio has 3 large garage doors, assuming when weather permits it opens up for fresh air. The walls are quite thin though. You can hear the other class! And on top of that, the people coming out of the class was really loud and it actually disturb my flow and concentration of relaxing. It was quite a disruption and no respect for ongoing class. The restore class was a nice way to stretch out your body as we hold poses for a longer time than normal. It was a nice full class and I enjoyed it. read more

The no show policy is unreasonable. It's not enough that you lose the $32.00 drop-in fee for a class, that they charge you an additional $20.00 for a total of $52.00 for a no-show. It's unfortunate that a "company policy" irresponsibly burdens the customer when an inconvenience happens. read more

I wish I knew you HAD to show up 15 min early. They locked the doors after then so even if you're on time you can't do the class. I've never seen that before with a fitness business but I guess if they start 15 min early you get more for your money so I'm not complaining it just would have been nice to know maybe like a next automation to let people know an hour before would be helpful. read more

OMG! Love this studio!! I came for the open air candlelight flow where they open the garage doors. Because of their location, you get city noise, but it ended up just being background noise to the class and I was able to tune out the city noise. The flow was perfectly timed and I got a good workout and stretch. If you forget your water bottle, they have glasses to fill with water. If you walk or ride your bike to the studio, they'll let you borrow a mat for free because you came in a sustainable manner. I can't wait to come back for another class. read more

It's a good studio if you don't want to sweat much or be challenged. Tried 2 different locations at 2 different times of day. When I want hot yoga I want to leave dripping in sweat and I've now invested over $60 to try it out and haven't been satisfied. I found this yoga studio on ClassPass and I'm so thankful I did. I absolutely love the space as it honors the origins of yoga but still feels chic and modern. They offer heated yoga which I love and have one room with minimal natural light and one room with an entire wall of windows which open up and go to weather for open air yoga. The location is just across the pedestrian bridge from the 41st and Fox light rail station, just one stop from downtown Denver union station. All of the instructors I've taken classes with have been incredible and it seems they work at all three locations so if you have a favorite instructor, you can try classes at the other two locations using their online booking platform or ClassPass. On their website, I also saw they have an unlimited introductory month offer for $60 which is a killer deal. read more
