I came across this place by chance. Getting gas for my rental car before returning it to Syracuse airport, I looked for a breakfast spot nearby and saw this place. If you like diners, you'll like Julie's. I sat at the counter, which was full of customers and still roomy enough. It was a busy morning. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered an "overstuffed" veggie omelette. No exaggeration there. It was stuffed with tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, and peppers. Cooked just right. It came with breakfast potatoes and rye (my choice) toast. I'll stop by again when I'm in the area.

Cornbeef hash and two eggs over easy with Rye Toast. Bottomless coffee. Yes please.

Lickety Split breakfast. High degree of customer service. Quick stop for a delayed flight out of Syr. Love this place.

Came in around 1230pm, I was famished as I had not eaten yet because I got called into work early (I.T. Support) and was super-busy. We got seated right away, hostess was friendly. Overall a very friendly place. I ordered a Philly Steak Sandwich w/chips+pickle, guest ordered Eggs Benedict. Server was wearing a crown announcing it was their birthday. Eh; its their birthday- not a bad idea to make the best of it. I had a gold watch in my car that I was going to give to my sister, but I decided to give it to the server- I got a smooch in return. Guest enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The chips and pickle were both crisp and fresh. The Philly was overcooked; I pointed it out to the server and could of had it replaced but I got called back to work (Who beta tests in production anyway, that sure wasn't my idea- but I have to rescue them, oiy) and needed to leave soon (and was super-hungry) - I cut off the most burnt part of the bread, meat was a little overcooked which made it less enjoyable... Stomach ache later. I suppose I should blame myself for eating it knowing that it wasn't cooked correctly *shrug* I wish I'd noticed the part on the receipt about getting a discount for paying in cash. That's not their fault though- banks with all their cash back offers etc. passing on the cost to the small business. We should carry cash again. I was kidding about the gold watch. I'll give the place another chance when I have more time and am not on call.

We have been to Julie's multiple times and we love coming here! It's always crowded on the weekends so make sure to go early but even when there is a lot of people the turnover is pretty quick. We got our food very shortly after we ordered. Everyone is so nice when you walk in, they make you feel like a regular each time. There is plenty of seating. It's a little tight but honestly not that bad for a small diner feeling. The food is always on point! You can honestly never have a bad meal here. I highly recommend Julie's to anyone looking for a great diner!

Classic diner vibes right next to the airport! Stopped by for an early breakfast during Memorial Day Weekend. Packed, but the wait wasn't bad and the servers were kind. Ordered a country fried steak, Memorial Day Special Waffles, Texas Scrambler sandwich.

Solid diner to stop by for a quick bite! Great prices that make any meal here affordable. The staff and cooks are efficient and get your food out to you ASAP. I highly recommend trying their monte cristo sandwich paired with fries -- perfectly cooked fries!

I've been here but I tried something new today the combo#1. It's 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links and 2 pieces of bacon. That's a lot of food so I knew I would be bringing some home. I was greeted as soon as I came in the door and seated and waitress checked on me right away. The food was out within 15 minutes. I'm very picky about pancakes and these were fluffy, thick and cooked perfectly!! I loved them. The eggs were scrambled and very good. The sausage links tasted like jimmy dean but they were fine. The bacon was limp but that was my fault because I didn't ask for it crisp. I said something to the waitress and it was sent back and done crispy. The waitress apologized and of course it wasn't her fault it was mine. This is a great place for breakfast. I have not tried their lunch items yet.

Such a fun classic diner just 5 minutes from the Syracuse airport with fast, friendly service and delicious food in filling portions! We ordered a combination so we could try a little of everything - 2 waffles, eggs, and bacon. Bacon was crispy and flavorful, scrambled eggs were fluffy and just perfect, and waffles were soft and great with the butter provided. Veggie frittata was delicious as well, veggies were bright and flavorful and it was so yummy! Drinks, like coffee which we ordered, are at no additional charge. Pricing was reasonable - we ate for two people with leftovers that I took to the airport after and the total (with tax and tip) came out to about $21. Great place! I'm located in Ithaca but I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Syracuse.

I sat at the counter and my server was great... very friendly and happy I was there. I got there around 7:30AM and it was basically dead, but by the time I left, there was a steady line of folks coming in. Their menu has all the typicals that these places have, many things I enjoy. I tried their corned beef hash (which I requested well-done with jalapeños added), scrambled eggs with cheese, and I also got a side of their breakfast potatoes with sausage gravy on top. The food came out quickly and was piping hot & freshly made. The quantity of potatoes for a single side dish were HUGE! Definitely enough to share. The scrambled eggs were PERFECTLY made! I'm an egg snob, I never want any over-cooked egg visible (no brown) and these were perfectly colored and tasted great. The corned beef hash was good as well. Overall, I enjoyed this visit and I would most definitely return!

I got the sausage gravy over home fries for the first time and I have never had anything like it - it was warm and salty and had a nice crunch with the cooked home fries. There were a lot of people but the noise level was great and everyone seemed to be having a yummy and amazing time.

I tried ordering a 1/4 fretta (ended up receiving and getting charged for 1/2) and my husband ordered a burger with chips (ended up receiving and getting charged for fries), both were no big deal but seemed slightly like a way to add a few more dollars to the bill. Sadly, a train didn't go by but it is hard to fault the diner for that. It has a compact footprint with about a half-dozen booths and some chairs at the bar/grill. I counted at least seven employees while we were there and they all were working hard. They were friendly, though busy. I ordered a burger and fries, my wife had a cold tuna sandwich, and my son had pancakes. My burger was very greasy and not cooked as I ordered it but it was good. It started to fall apart upon picking it up (the lettuce and tomato weren't helping matters) and I resorted to a fork and knife. The fries were very good. My wife ordered her sandwich twice and they still didn't get it correct, though they took care of it on the bill (which we weren't expecting). The pancakes were thick and chewy, but I really liked them and wish I had ordered them instead. Considering the staff walked place our booth at least 20 times during our visit I was never offered a refill, and we were only checked on once. Perhaps they expect you to complain if you need something. I dunno, but I hope to be back sometime in the future when the trains are running. Note: at 1:45 we were leaving and they dumped a ton of onions on the grill to cook. No idea who was going to eat them, but perhaps that is how they get customers out at closing time!

Cannoli was my favorite but they were all good, loaded even has an egg on top however you like it!Portion size is huge and everything tasted great!!!! They had a good challenge listed on the menu but none of us were up to the challenge! Service is amazing, and they even have a waitress warming up coffee, which I highly appreciate at places. Our server was super nice and cheerful. I ordered the waffle breakfast sandwich and matcha and felt both fell flat. I love matcha but I really try and only drink ceremonial grade. It was my mistake that I didn't ask before I ordered. This matcha was premixed and came out looking a slightly greenish off white rather than a rich grassy color. I didn't dock points for the matcha though because a ton of places don't do this drink well. My sandwich was good enough but it overall lacked flavor. The eggs were under seasoned and I wish the waffle was crispy versus soggy. It also didn't have much bacon on it. The home fries were excellent though. Perfect color and seasoning, no notes. Everyone else in my party really enjoyed their meals and I'm sure we will be back. The menu is extensive and I'm sure there are some other things that I would enjoy so I'm looking forward to trying something else next time.
