Such a cute restaurant for a night out! Had an amazing glass of wine and delicious fish tacos. We sat on the patio which was pretty warm with the heaters. Overall, we had an excellent time!

Adjacent the Sweetwater Music Hall this gem provides convenient dining before the show. The food was wonderful, the service excellent and the atmosphere comfortable. Covered outdoor dining with plenty of heating, my wife who easily gets cold was very comfortable. The clam chowder with sweet potato was excellent. Try it!

I like live music and love southern cooking! I had the prawn gumbo at Rock & Rye and it was excellent they had crystal which is a must! The rest of the menu is good, but this was great!

She was super accommodating and attentive without being overbearing. Once we told her what we liked, she immediately knew what to recommend and guided us through the menu perfectly. You can tell she knows her stuff. We came specifically for happy hour (we're definitely HH aficionados) and made it our mission to try everything on the menu. While the chips & dip were good, they're something you can find elsewhere, so not necessarily a standout. Everything else, though? OUTSTANDING! The hummus, whipped feta, and muhamarra were next-level--easily some of the best we've had. The CN burger sliders were also a hit--we had one each and they were so yummy that next time my husband is already planning on getting two. The drinks were on point. The espresso martinis absolutely fueled our afternoon in the best way, and we also tried the creamsicle cocktail and the shrimp Za'atar from the regular menu--both were super delicious in their own way. The ambiance was great, and the bartender was clearly on top of things, which always adds to the overall vibe. One thing worth noting: happy hour is now only offered Monday-Thursday, but Sydney was kind enough to honor it for us on Saturday since the website hadn't been updated yet. That level of service really sealed the deal for us. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish--great food, great drinks, and even better service. Easy five stars.

So you get a small and intimate feel where seated outdoors (so pleasant) or indoors. They have live jazz style music playing. There's some shade in the mini courtyards outside seating but even if there's sun, they have portable patio umbrellas. Staff immediately brought out cushions and a water bowl for my fur babies; they were so sweet!! Bathrooms are clean . Oh and indoors is soooo cute. Rustic but cozy!! Happy hour is 4-6 pm at the "bar section" only, separate from the main restaurant. Go early as its first come first serve. I tried the crispy buffalo wings which was good. But the walla walla waffle chips with onion dip was phenomenal. Such deep rich flavor dip. I also tried the half dozen raw oysters; the accompanying sauce and lemon enhanced the flavor perfectly. My server Maya was so sweet and patient. She checked in at the appropriate times and frequency. Gave awesome recommendations and just had such a warm and happy demeanor. Julyssys (?) was so kind and hard working too! Overall I'm very pleased with my experience and look forward to returning!! Thank you! From Pumpernickel & Pierogi

The line was long but we got to order and had a table for 4 which was nice. There are seatings in the out door but also full. The service is great but extremely hectic, everyone is running like crazy. We ordered from the outside and the server brought the foods to our table. The prices are average $20 a plate. We ordered Fried fish tacos instead of grilled and a burrito. The chips and pico de gallo for $5 is very good, we ordered at the bar. The garlic fries are so good, every piece with great flavor and crispy. The burrito is huge and very filling, but our fried fish tacos are excellent, my wife really liked them, 2 on a plate with everything on them. It's quite messy to eat these tacos, they're big. Anyhow, compare to the Halfmoon Bay fish tacos that we liked, this is quite delicious. There are quite many beers served here but we didn't have any. This is a hip area with surfing lessons, coffee shops and of course Hook Fish. I came here with a group, after a hike at the Tennessee Valley Trail (a beautiful hike to a beach, probably 1-2 miles away). At Hook Fish, you find a table, get in line and order your food with your table number. They bring it over (quickly!) and you get to people watch for your troubles. The dishes were a heavy mouthful, but delectable as expected. It feels East Coast West Coast to me in nature, but all pure goodness. The fried fish I had was crispy and tender, and the nachos and poke were fresh and crunchy chipped. We left with tight belts. I'd plan ahead or come prepared to hunt for parking, but it was a fun stop otherwise, especially for a friendly gathering with some solid grub.
