Adjacent the Sweetwater Music Hall this gem provides convenient dining before the show. The food was wonderful, the service excellent and the atmosphere comfortable. Covered outdoor dining with plenty of heating, my wife who easily gets cold was very comfortable. The clam chowder with sweet potato was excellent. Try it!

I like live music and love southern cooking! I had the prawn gumbo at Rock & Rye and it was excellent they had crystal which is a must! The rest of the menu is good, but this was great!

She was super accommodating and attentive without being overbearing. Once we told her what we liked, she immediately knew what to recommend and guided us through the menu perfectly. You can tell she knows her stuff. We came specifically for happy hour (we're definitely HH aficionados) and made it our mission to try everything on the menu. While the chips & dip were good, they're something you can find elsewhere, so not necessarily a standout. Everything else, though? OUTSTANDING! The hummus, whipped feta, and muhamarra were next-level--easily some of the best we've had. The CN burger sliders were also a hit--we had one each and they were so yummy that next time my husband is already planning on getting two. The drinks were on point. The espresso martinis absolutely fueled our afternoon in the best way, and we also tried the creamsicle cocktail and the shrimp Za'atar from the regular menu--both were super delicious in their own way. The ambiance was great, and the bartender was clearly on top of things, which always adds to the overall vibe. One thing worth noting: happy hour is now only offered Monday-Thursday, but Sydney was kind enough to honor it for us on Saturday since the website hadn't been updated yet. That level of service really sealed the deal for us. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish--great food, great drinks, and even better service. Easy five stars.

So you get a small and intimate feel where seated outdoors (so pleasant) or indoors. They have live jazz style music playing. There's some shade in the mini courtyards outside seating but even if there's sun, they have portable patio umbrellas. Staff immediately brought out cushions and a water bowl for my fur babies; they were so sweet!! Bathrooms are clean . Oh and indoors is soooo cute. Rustic but cozy!! Happy hour is 4-6 pm at the "bar section" only, separate from the main restaurant. Go early as its first come first serve. I tried the crispy buffalo wings which was good. But the walla walla waffle chips with onion dip was phenomenal. Such deep rich flavor dip. I also tried the half dozen raw oysters; the accompanying sauce and lemon enhanced the flavor perfectly. My server Maya was so sweet and patient. She checked in at the appropriate times and frequency. Gave awesome recommendations and just had such a warm and happy demeanor. Julyssys (?) was so kind and hard working too! Overall I'm very pleased with my experience and look forward to returning!! Thank you! From Pumpernickel & Pierogi

I thought it was really good and the service was excellent. We got the brunch price fix and three out of four things were excellent. One could have used some improvement . We each got a salad to start . My Caesar salad was a very large portion and one of the best I've had. My husband loved the tomato salad with burrata and pesto and olives. The grilled salmon with summer squash was also a generous size and very good. The Bungalow Benedict was somewhat disappointing-- crammed on s much too small plate and the hollandaise was cold. It wasn't awful but just not up to the standard it should be especially at that price. Home fries were hot and tasty. Nice looking place with a wall of windows looking out at the water. We had to ask to move our seats because the chairs were too low for the tables ( in our opinion) but our waiter was very nice and it was not a problem. We had a nice view of the water. We parked on the street on a Saturday mid morning with no problem. Waiter, host and bussers were all great. It was quite a pleasant experience.

The ling cod is one of my favorite fish they have there and the rice and the tomatoes on the plates are delicious!!! I wish the staff here are more friendly and the food can come out a little slow, especially on the weekends. The staff mentioned that we would have to wait for 30-45minutes for the fish and chips so I didn't get it and I wish I could if I didn't have to wait that long. But overall I really enjoyed coming here for fresh fish options and a great place to come with friends!

But the style of the restaurant left much to be desired. More below. The way this place works is: check in, wait to be seated, then once you have your table you can go stand in a separate line to order food and another line to order drinks. This aspect of the restaurant I think could improve it's a little clunky. 3 stars for this aspect of it. Wait on an early Sunday afternoon was 40+ minutes for 6 people to be seated. Luckily there's a cool surf/gear store next door to explore with tons of awesome items. As mentioned above after getting seated, it's another ~5-10 minutes to order drinks at the bar and ~5-10 minutes to stand in line to be able to order food. Then -20 minute wait for the food once ordered. All in all I don't think I was a fan of this set up. Fish and chips were okay/pretty good but nothing I would write home about. Oddly enough I think our table of 6 ordered five orders of fish and chips because we were that excited to try them out for ourselves. We've always wanted to try their S.F. location by the beach but it's always super packed. We also ordered a few Chips and salsa and guacamole. Salsa and guac were super bland, definitely would not recommend the salsa at all to my worst enemy. The beer selection on draft was extensive and bartenders were super friendly. Parking could be A LOT better -- we had to find parking all the way down the busy high speed road. They have their own small parking lot on site but it was packed to the brim. Originally I had this listed as a 4-star review because it truly is a nice layout and location with potential, but after writing this review I think it's more realistically a solid 3.5 star experience. Decided to keep the 4 to be fair because staff is super friendly and the layout and bones of the location is actually really big and nice, but it all just felt a little too clunky to be honest. Side note: kudos to staff who acted swiftly and super professionally to a super scary medical emergency that happened to someone near us at the bar. Paramedics had to be called and it was handled well.
