I hired K Alexander Kitchen and Bath Designers to renovate my kitchen. I had formica Laminates but wanted to update my counters to Quartz. I'd interviewed other companies but thought with a design firm, it would be less stress, a one-stop shop, and they would do the heavy work for me. I've not had the best success with renovations. Being a single female, it is common knowledge that we are usually victims of predators, and for those experiences, I don't go half-cocked but try to be as informed as possible. Even doing due diligence, I still found myself in a 4 month nightmare. They subcontracted with Natural Gallery Stone Kitchen and Bath, and it was an absolute nightmare. I expressed strongly to them that I was having Ankle replacement surgery September 3 and wanted to have it done prior. We discussed this in the latter part of April and began in May. I have been without a working kitchen since then. It wasn't money because I paid upfront and in full. Natural Gallery took their sweet time. The fabrication was terrible, the hole for the faucet wasn't centered and the stone's sheen was inconsistent. It was a high gloss stone but the fabrication caused matte, rough and inconsistent textures. Not to belabor the problem but I was so stressed that I became ill. I thought that I would still be without counters, a sink or a finished product that it flared my Lupus. I was washing my dishes in the bathroom. I literally prayed and was directed to The Countertop Factory. I'd just left a company on Glenwood Ave that I was unavailable, detached, and wouldn't return calls. I sat in a gas station parking lot crying. I Googled Countertop installers, and right down the street is The Countertop Factory! I spoke to a lovely person named Haven. Haven was empathetic and kind. I met with her the very day. I was shown stone and different edges. I also met Nick and Erick. We came up with a game plan. Within 2 weeks of my initial meeting, I have a beautiful kitchen that I'd still be waiting for with the other company. Chris and Michael came today and meticulously installed the cabinets. Every effort to detail was met. Wes is a supervisor. He is direct but considerate. I was so nervous about the job but he promised to take care of me and he did just that. It I'd hard to find companies that care. Workmanship, craftsmanship, and pride are a thing of the past in most cases, but I was blessed to have found a company that puts their customers first, and their reputation for excellence is well earned. The cost is worth every penny because you get what you pay for. If it seems like I am gushing, it is because I am. I highly recommend them! I appreciate everything that this company and the staff has done for me.

My kitchen sink fell after only being in this new house less than 3 years. Pulte would not cover any repairs and told me to contact the Countertop Factory who installed my countertop and sink. Of course, I was leery of using them to fix the problem. I have owned 3 newly built houses in my lifetime and have never seen a sink fall. I hired a different company to reinstall the sink. I contacted Eric at Countertop and sent him pictures and told him I was having a different company reinstall the sink. Eric contacted the owner and Countertop agreed to pay all my expenses in reinstalling the sink and reconnecting the plumbing. All I can say is the company did the right thing for me. Give them a chance.

My porcelain countertop cracked where they should have put in a seam and it is under warranty and they still have not come out to replace it. I would not recommend Geo to anyone.

We had a contract for a solid surface backsplash and when the installer arrived he was using 2 small pieces behind our stove? The seam was going horizontal and not at all what we agreed on! The owner proceeded to tell me that was common practice and in the mean time his wife was texting me that that was not acceptable and Ross (her husband and owner of the company) has a solid surface backsplash and it does not have a horizontal seam half way up! After many terrible conversations (where the owner spoke extremely nasty to me multiple times - once on speaker for my builder and his team to hear) they came back with a solid surface as we had contracted for. The owner came to measure- he did not use a laser to measure. I later learned from my builder that a laser is used to measure in this field of expertise. Our solid surface backsplash is all over the place- it was cut too short in 3/4 of the kitchen and then at an angle under our hood- the installer used white glue to try and hide this (now we have globe of white glue everywhere!) It is a HUGE mess! We have been left with a mess and would advise you to not use Geo's.

Owen took his time measuring everything exactly right, his attention to detail and answers to my questions were greatly appreciated. And Luis and his install team were quick, professional, courteous and respectful of our home and property. They used drop cloths and swept and vacuumed throughout the install and the one seam I needed came out perfect, you can't even see it unless you are looking closely. I was thrilled that even though my kitchen has 2 corners, I only needed one seam; the competitor quote I got specified that my kitchen would need 2 seams. Now every morning when I wake up and make coffee I smile while looking at my new kitchen. Super grateful that we chose Cary Granite, would use them again in a heartbeat.

This review is for vinyl floor installation only. The vinyl floor this review is for was installed…read more~1 year ago for the previous homeowner. The initial installer made many flaws. Notably, the main seam in the kitchen is highly visible as the cut on the seam is very uneven (see attached photos). This was pointed out to me as poorly done by the 2nd repairman sent to my house on (6/19/21). Additionally, the vinyl tore at a corner near the stairs in my kitchen ~7 months after installation. The tear occurred as the wood layer the vinyl was attached to had a gap at the edge (see photo). The company sent a repairman to my house two times. The first time (6/9/21) a little glue was added to the tear by the initial installer. He was unwilling to do what was necessary to fix the tear according to the office representative I spoke with. The second time a patch was completed by a vinyl installer who doesn't regularly work for the company. The repairman leveled the wood layer below the vinyl before patching the vinyl. The patch is barely noticeable but would not be necessary if the floor had been professionally installed. The only way to correct the initial installation issues (i.e., the clearly visible main seam and poorly laid underlayment) would be to completely replace the flooring. Stay clear of this company if you need vinyl flooring. They will stand behind their work, but the initial installation work in my house was flawed beyond what is acceptable as professional floor installation. This review is one star because of the quality of the vinyl installation work completed in my house and the difficulty I received in having the company to appropriately repair the work, i.e. two different repairmen came to my house to complete a small patch repair. I received no offer to properly reinstall the vinyl in my kitchen until I posted this review despite multiple phone conversations and text messages describing the issues. This review does not address the quality of their flooring products or other flooring installations beyond vinyl.

I called corporate and this is a franchise and the franchise owner needs to issue the refund. I have filed with the better business bureau after receiving this voicemail. "Hey Molly this is Mark with kitchen tuneup hey I just got off the phone with my corporate folks just understand the new a a contractual agreements _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ with our new um new owners and and I'm not shell the deposit is nonrefundable but you have they give you 90 days you know just in case you go decide you want to do it um you know however that that is up to my discretion how long that is so say yes LOL I'm gonna have to wait till August September whatever on we you know we can put you on the calendar um I think I'm gonna be able to find work next week I got somebody just today that's got a a a a couple... Next week that I may be able to possibly _⁠_⁠_⁠_ I really really you know I want to work with you so but I did have a phone that's why I want to call me I don't see why there's any reason you know you might want to get a new cabinet but you know with everything going on we can still paint your cabinets and do the cabinet in front of the front of the sink just the way it is today and then when you decide to get the new cabinet you know and if you want somebody else to install it fine if you want us to install it fine um and we can get the doors off of that new cabinet that you get and a week and then come out all agreed to come back out and repaint that and a take the doors back and repaint the box so that they all match in so give me a call to discuss and you know I know you're a little stressed out yesterday so um hopefully you know you were able to take a couple breaths after I left I can get on the want to I didn't want to frustrate you anymore so but when you get an opportunity give me a call but obviously a you know if you want to move for like I said let me know I need to know by today because I got a pick the doors up Thursday because I have a guy that comes out to me I have to let him know so please let me know the best number to reach me is on my cell phone The crazy thing about this is in my home he said I already got paid. His craftsmanship was evident throughout. The corners line up. The grout lines are clean and consistent. The aesthetics are lovely, and the practical functionality of the bathroom is outstanding. He had to solve for a couple challenges, most notably that the new flooring was thicker and thus created a disparity with the entrance to the master closets in the bathroom and to the master bedroom. His solution was elegant and well done. My morning showers now feel like I'm at a spa. We love it! By the way he and his wife are lovely people and a pleasure to work with.

After the first consult, NOCA helped identify the type of cabinets we had from Home Depot (installed before we moved into the house). Then, we scheduled the installation for a few weeks out. We communicated between the consult and installation to make sure everything was on schedule and they arrived at the appointed time. They were able to remove the existing cabinet without damaging the surrounding area and could reuse the trim we had before. I was happy with how communication flowed on the installation day and the worksite was tidied up before leaving. Highly recommend!
