As someone with celiac disease, eating out can be stressful, but when I informed our server, he immediately reassured me that they take cross-contamination seriously and ensure a safe meal. While they do offer outdoor dining, we opted to sit inside, and the service and food were fantastic from start to finish. To drink, I started with the kiwi pineapple margarita--they offer multiple types of rims, and I went with sugar, which was delicious. The summer sangria also sounded amazing, but I stuck with the margarita since it was guaranteed gluten-free. For food, we shared the ricotta with gluten-free toast, and for my main, I had the Beyond Burger on a gluten-free bun with a side of chips that were confirmed to be safely gluten-free. Finding a place that is this accommodating, knowledgeable, and delicious is rare, and it made our trip so much better!

We had to go around the block multiple times before we found a space behind the parking lot behind the restaurant. When we got into the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. There was a short waiting list that moved pretty quickly. The main reasons for going there was to try their James Beard award winning Trumpet burger. I also ordered an amber ale that was pretty good. It was good but coming from Chicago there are several burgers that I feel are better. Places like Au Chaval & Little Bad Wolf to name a few. My wife ordered a Mediterranean style pizza. Again coming from Chicago the pizza was very average. How can you compare this to Pequods or Lou Malnati? Hops draws a large crowd and really packs the people in. They have a good lively crowd w/a nice selection of food & beers. It was an enjoyable meal in a very crowd friendly. Kaitlyn was our beautiful server that made the meal much more pleasant w/her charming personality

This is what happens when a true chef doesn't at least create the menu and give the kitchen staff, recipes that they need to follow to a tee. TO A TEE. Consistently. Every.... single... . time. And they need to TASTE that food, before they put it on the menu. Super sad because the service is amazing and I love everything else about this place. The food was terrible. The ribs bland and boring and the beans, completely inedible and so loaded with soy, they were disgusting.

Truly one of the best places we ate while in town. How good? We went three times. The pizza is out of this world. They know what they're doing. The beer? Also a 10/10. He then proceeded to take everyone else's food order, even though they sat after us, prior to come back to take ours. We finally ordered and they pizza came out. Couple points in the pizza, it was good mind you but each topping is $2.50. If I get bacon on a pizza I'm expecting more than a sparse sprinkling of bacon bits on my pizza for that amount. If you order ham on you pizza they provide a good amount but the pieces of game are pretty large and tend to come off as part of the initial bite. They have a food runner that is delivering the pizzas so we didn't interact with the waiter again, no check in, no asking if we wanted another round of drinks. Multiple attempts to flag him down went ignored, I finally grabbed my own to go box for the left overs. I was finally able to get his attention after he made five trips to fill up a water cooler so that we could pay. Food & Drinks great. Service was dreadful.

When my Food arrived I requested to have my fries remade since they were NOT HOT & had most likely been sitting under a light ( is my guess ) for a while. After 25 minutes fresh fries did arrive but as you might imagine now my sandwich was COLD.I asked my waitress ( who was lovely in every way!!!! ) to please send a manager over so I could express my frustration. The manager was apologetic & comped my food - but fun fact,I now had a cold sandwich with hot fries. Literally one was switched for the other. Although I appreciate the slight concern, it would have been nice to offer me an altogether HOT meal complete with everything HOT at the same time.Am I asking too much? I didn't get a meal that day- just some hot fries.....& actually the thought of this still annoys me. Please consider the entire meal & remember,I came to EAT not "negotiate " 1/2 of a HOT meal. The food was pretty good and came out fairly quick. I got nachos for the second day in a row the sauces and salsa were very tasty. I got extra southwest ranch on the side. They do cost a little extra, but it helped add some additional flavor. My only critique would be loading it up more by adding a queso cheese option or additional cut veggies, or jalapeños or guac, but not bad. They also have a very extensive drink less in their own seltzers and in-house stuff which makes it tough to decide what you really can't go wrong. Oh and I forgot we started with the cheese curds which were phenomenal. Definitely continue to look this place up and check it out if we're in the area and would recommend.

Chicken had a nice sauce/flavor to it, though was a tad on the dry side for me. Atmosphere was alright, we enjoyed the outdoor seating and never went inside so cannot speak on that. Service was alright. Nothing to write home about. Not sure I'd make this a place to visit a second time. Thought its worth a try once.
