Well I have mixed feedback on this place. The owner was so nice to us. He waited for us and told us…read morewhere to go. He was really sweet and after we checked in we realized we were the only people there. He left the main building and we had the whole place for ourselves which was awesome. It's in middle of nowhere (in town with only one gas station and one bar). There is a store across the street but they don't sell liquor. We had to drive 2-3 more miles to get some booze. It was really hot inside so we took the table and chairs outside and sat there. The rooms itself were very smelly and bugs were everywhere. All over floors, furniture and BEDS! Dead and live! They were crawling everywhere. The bathrooms were smelling so bad too. We had a hard time with getting the smell out. A/C unit was super loud. You can't sleep with it on. The bathroom towels were great. Soft and luscious.

Until we got there, and they told us, at 4:00 in the afternoon on the day of our reservations, that they cancelled them. For no reason, and without telling us. Thankfully, they work closely with Canyon's End, and even more thankfully, they had room for us. So we ended up here after all! These guys saved our trip. With two young, disappointed kids, traveling who knows how much farther away from our destination (Grand Canyon West) could have ruined our trip. Not only did they save our trip, but the owners were super nice and helpful. The room was great- clean, comfy, and well stocked. Everything worked well! So while my kids were disappointed they didn't get horse rides and a campfire, we had a great evening. And I saved a bunch of money, that we promptly spent on souvenirs the next day- so even they are glad with the way things ended up.

Your picking is going to very slim in this area. When you enter, you're greeted with the stuffed heads of animal trophies over a nice warm fireplace. It really gives you that nice lodge feeling. The items on the menu is fairly basic American food, nothing too fancy. Burgers, fried stuff, soups, salads, that kind of stuff. Everything was made from basic ingredients. The salad was a bit overly salty because of the chicken and ham. The unique item is the Hualapai fry bread. Those are worth getting! But if you're doing the Havasupai trek, you may have your fill of fry bread down there as well. I recommend this place mostly due to convenience over taste.

This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. Overall, Fox Smokehouse BBQ was a great stop with delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming hometown vibe. Definitely worth visiting if you're near Boulder City.

We were…read morelooking for something with a variety and some healthy options, this place fit the bill. This restaurant is tucked in a strip mall right along what seemed to be the main road in town. There are about 3 small tables outside and about 5-6 tables inside. Each one can sit only about 2-3 people, so unless you are picking up to go, this won't work for a large group. The decor was fun and colorful. The kitchen area had a lot of open/extra space so I'm guessing this was a bakery before and the new owners didn't remodel much to keep the cost to open down. They could probably get another 4+ tables in here if they did. Not a negative, just an observation. The menu was filled with interesting stuff. We landed on 3 very different things. There was a sweet potato bowl on the menu that looked tasty, and while reviewing the menu I watched one get delivered to a table and it looked delicious and it was ENORMOUS! I wasn't sure I wanted to each that much so I went with a chicken wrap, my wife ordered a pizza, and my sister in law ordered a "small" salad. We decided to sit outside and they brought us our food and a sample of the soup of the day as a complementary treat (or it was included with our orders, not 100% sure) the soup was a ham/lentil/bacon recipe and it was delicious. My wrap was pretty tasty too, it could have used something to add crunch, maybe wonton strips or something like that. The flavor was great though. My wife's pizza was a bit too cheesy and slightly undercooked, but it was still tasty. If we ordered that again I'd probably ask they cooked it a couple minutes longer. The "small" salad was HUGE! I can't imagine what the large is like and I can't believe the price for what you get there. It looked amazing and fresh. My sister in law said it was very good. Overall I do think they have a couple things to work on but I loved the experience and I would come again if I was in the area. It was an incredible value for the quality of the food and that's why I'm still giving them 5 stars. For about $35 it was an absolute steal for 3 people.
