All'Antico Vinaio has been on my lists for a while, so I was glad that I finally got to come here! I came right at opening, and was second in line. Since this was my one and only chance (I think) to try this spot, me and a friend decided to split our sandwiches to try more than just one. We settled on L'INFERNO and the LA DISTRICT. The former has: porchetta, nduja, spicy eggplant, spicy zucchini, arugula -- while the latter has pancetta, pecorino cream, sun dried tomato, arugula. I had to hop on a plane for a few hours, so I wanted to pack the sandwiches for a later time -- but I had to try them FRESH. Oh boy. These sandwiches were an absolute EXPERIENCE -- the bread (which is schiacciata) was warm, pillowy, with the most amazing crust. The porchetta on the L'INFERNO was so tender and full of flavor paired with the nduja. The LA DISTRICT was a nice calm contrast, instead of strong flavors, all the elements worked as one -- and that pecorino cream was an absolute masterpiece. After I arrived, the line behind me quietly filled up quickly (it was the 10:35 AM)! As with most locations, come early if you don't want to wait. I did eat the rest of the sandwiches about 3 hrs. later but it got duller the longer it sat (as expected). It was still good though! I repeat: I was a bit skeptical because of the virality of this slot, but at lease at the UNCOMMONS, location, the hype is indeed real. Alright folks, my experience of all antico Vinaio was tainted from the experience we had in Florence. Went to the OG shops, swarmed with locals who stop by for lunch. Wasn't a fan of the bread and it was kinda bland. Hadn't tried this place for years because of the motherland can't get it right, I wasn't going to mess with the US version. I was wrong. The sandwich was 5/5. I was thinking about this sandwich for days after. What makes them different is the bread. It's toasted, a bit thinner, while being fluffy on the inside, has that crunch on the outside. And it was phenomenal. Met a family of four who is a regular, that recommended the one with pistachio cream inside. I decided to try something else instead and it was amazing. I can't remember which one it was but it had spicy sauce with spicy salami inside. I'll def be going back to give a shot on the pistachio cream that the family shared they are addicted to. read more

I've heard so many good things about this place, and was excited to finally have an opportunity to try it. I went in on a Monday around 11am, and to my surprise there was only one other group (of 3) ahead of me. The employee immediately helped us and asked which sandwiches we wanted. I ordered the Schiacciata del Boss, and the Summer. Each sandwich was $21. Additionally I purchased a Sparkling Water for $3. The employee began making my sandwiches, and I did have a hard time understanding what he said to me because he was mumbling, but I didn't get yelled at so I guess I followed his directions accurately. I will say, It was a bit of sticker shock to realize that I paid $48.77 for two sandwiches and a sparkling water. When we opened the sandwiches, they were actually a lot wider than I had anticipated. I should have done better research because I did not expect the sandwiches to be so flat. I expected them to have a little bit more veggies of some sort in them. The prosciutto also felt very minimal and thin. The bread itself was fantastic. You could tell it was fresh and soft. Additionally the truffle spread was prominent in all the best ways. I did have a problem with my sandwich though.. as I was eating my half of the sandwich, I looked down and there was a hair wrapped around some of the meat and coming out of my sandwich. I tried to tell myself it was my hair, because it was black, but my hair is long and that day it was curly. This hair was short and black and wrapped around the meat going further into the sandwich. Unfortunately, my first reaction was to pick it out and throw the hair on the ground, so I did not get a photo of it. Because I did not have proof, I didn't feel it was appropriate to go back in and address it. The customer service was very nice, so it's my best guess that they would have handled it appropriately if it was brought to their attention. Overall (excluding the hair incident), I enjoyed the bread, but I did not feel as though the quality of the sandwich met the price point of what I was charged. If it had more meat and veggies, then I would have been all for it, but $21 for really good bread, is something I will pass on. read more

Some friends and I were going to the Sphere for a concert one evening and we wanted to grab a quick bite beforehand. We came across All'Antico Vinaio online and thought it would be the perfect choice - great reviews and a super convenient location in the Venetian, right next to the Sphere. Like many things in Vegas, it did feel a bit pricey, but that's to be expected. I ordered La Paradiso since I'm a sucker for mortadella and pistachio. I don't remember exactly which sandwiches everyone else ordered, but I do remember that all of ours were served toasted (they asked if that's how we wanted them prepared), and we all enjoyed them. Four stars overall, but the sandwiches are a solid five! The inside seating area is small and the tables they do have can be messy. Seems like it's mostly the customer cleaning their table after eating. The staff is polite but not overly helpful and some days it seems they are more interested in their own conversation than assisting newbies. I got la paradiso. It was okay. The mortadella wasn't particularly flavorful. The pistachio cream was very thick and heavy. I also tried la schiacciata del boss which was much better. The prosciutto had more flavor than the mortadella. I really liked the truffle cream as it had a nice strong truffle flavor. The bread appeared to be freshly baked. Upon first walking into All'Antico, it definitely gives small Italian bistro vibes -- which surprised me because for a restaurant that's so active on social media, I genuinely thought it would be much larger. That said, the space is cute, clean, and has a charming aesthetic. When I arrived, there were three women working behind the sandwich bar. I approached to ask a simple question, and was very bluntly told that if I wasn't ready to order, I needed to move. It felt unnecessarily harsh, and unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the visit. The service was definitely not the warm, friendly experience I was hoping for. As for the food: I'd rate my sandwich a 7.5/10. It wasn't bad by any means, but it lacked the flavor punch I expected. I had seen on Yelp that you can sample the spreads -- which I was excited to do -- but because of the unfriendly interaction, I didn't even bother asking. The ingredients are delicious and top quality, but the flavor is overpowered by the bread to meat ratio. It is not enough meat in the sandwich! I also demoted stars for the bread. It's tastes delicious, but its crust is so hard and sharp. I think that the bread was old and not fresh at all. It was cold and not warm like they are promoting it on their social media posts. The meats did seem on par with the quality standard for this chain, however the sandwiches were overloaded in spread, with very little actual content of the meat. Before heading to Tao Beach, we needed to grab a bite. I had seen videos on this place and the reviews were raving, so I knew I had to check it out. It's located in the new food hall in the Wynn, and on this trip I decided to go with the La Summer sandwich, which came with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella cheese on their fresh baked focaccia bread. The first thing I noticed was that it was huge! For the price, it's good enough for two meals or to share with another person. While the bread was good, I didn't find anything else about the sandwich as memorable. Decent amount of prosciutto, good amount of cheese, but it felt like it was missing something. I was craving a good sandwich today so why not go to the best. I ordered the Summer sandwich which feels right on a beautiful day like today. The huge sandwich came on a wonderfully baked focaccia bread with a nice crisp on top and soft chewy inside. Stuffed inside were delicious thick sliced tomatos, fresh mozzarella and basil. The star is the prosciutto though. Perfectly sliced and flavorful. I added on some pesto for an even fresher feel. Had to see what all the rave was about for this place. Apparently it's a well known Florentine sandwich shop. Their claim to fame is their freshly baked Tuscan schiacciata bread and fresh ingredients. From looking at pictures my friends took at the OG location in Florence, I'll say that the sandwiches here don't look like the ones in Florence. The ones there look more packed. But these were still good. We were overwhelmed with the many choices and unfamiliar words, so the sandwich maker was friendly and good at explaining. We opted for the la paridiso and dante. First of all, the sandwiches are huge. I think in retrospect I'd rather share one sandwich with my husband and have other accompaniments. I think the sandwiches are meant to be eaten fresh as the bread and the ingredients presumably don't hold as well and taste as good together the next day. So we stuffed our faces and were pretty "sandwiched out" by the end of the meal. The Dante consisted of Capocollo, stracchino, truffle cream, and arugula. The truffle cream was very good but a bit rich, and I was tired of it pretty quickly. The quality of the capocollo was top notch. The La Paradiso was tastier to my husband and me. It consisted of Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, and pistachio. We both loved the pistachio cream. However I hate to say that we both simultaneously came to the same conclusion without biasing each other first with our thoughts- the sandwich ultimately just tasted like a glorified bologna sandwich from childhood. Not exactly the most appealing description, but we did enjoy the sandwich. I wouldn't mind coming back to try more sandwiches, but I will be wary of over ordering and making myself sick of these sandwiches. They are heavy and essentially meat and cheese sandwiches with occasional other fresh ingredients. I can't say I would choose this over a good old American sandwich from Cheba Hut over half the time. Had this place bookmarked for awhile and was just waiting until the 'hype' has subside. Upon entering, we were genuinely greeted by all the workers and they were patient with us while we looked through the menu list. A friendly female employee even gave us plenty of suggestions and popular sandwiches too. Small indoor seating with a few high top tables & chairs plus seating along side the edges of the window (perfect for people watching). I've had my heart set on the La Broadway since I loveeeee sundried tomatoes, spicy zucchini (not spicy at all) and arugula. This is a veggie sandwich but you're more than welcome to add any meats for additional charge. I decided to add spicy salami and it really took the sandwich to the next level. So flavorful...fresh..delicious with every bite. Husband decided on La Paradiso since that was one of the popular ones. He enjoyed it, but as we were eating and looking over the menu list again....the La Schoacciata Del Boss and the La Dante caught his attention. Well...now we know what to get if we come back again. Yes, the sandwiches are delicious. Yes, the sandwiches are so big you'll have enough for possibly a second meal. But at about $20 per sandwich...I just cannot justify it. read more

I attended a bread/sandwich making class & this was such an awesome experience! The staff was amazing , knowledgeable & personable. It's totally worth the price . They make you delicious sandwiches, some of the freshest I've had in Vegas . They were nice enough to accommodate me since I don't eat pork & I truly appreciated that. We got unlimited wine, were able to try some Italian soda & get to know new people. We also made a bread from flour , did the whole process, got to bake one AND take one home! I fell in love with this place when my best friend introduced me. On my first visit, I made the rookie mistake of ordering something that was basically just meat and cheese. The quality was great, but the combo? Not for me. Round two, I tried my bestie's go-to: The Big Smoke with tomatoes, but the truffle cream is what completes it. OH. MY. GOD. Life-changing. This is not your regular sandwich shop. This place serves an Italian style sandwich on top of Tuscan schiacciata bread. They use a wide variety of cured meats and cheese that you may not be familiar with. Being our first time here, I decided to try two different sandwiches that caught my attention: La Schiacciata Del Boss and Calvino. They were both pretty good since they balanced each other is different ways. The first one being a little more hearty with the flavor because of the truffle cream. While the Calvino was a little bit lighter and "healthier" mainly because of the arugula and burrata. When deciding to order, it may be difficult if you're unfamiliar with the different types of meats. Simplest thing is either to find an item you're familiar with and go off of that, or maybe ask the servers their suggestions. The menu does get intimidating because of this. The service was fairly fast, the only thing that we had to wait for was for fresh bread to be made which wasn't a problem to me. I see this place more as a pick up and go type of area, but they do have seating arrangements if you plan to dine in. It isn't the biggest of space but it works. Overall, I would say that this place is worth the try, but I haven't found the sandwich that makes me want to come back. Its pricing is high due to the quality of the ingredients. read more
