Picked this place due to the good reviews and they were supposed to be open to 8PM ET. I called at 7:30 and Miguel answered but said they were closing or already closed and it sounded like he didn't really want to take my order (which was for the next day) but then he finally agreed to take it. I was hoping they would get delivered in the morning for a special occasion (which I explained to him) and they were delivered before noon. He kept saying minimum order was $50 plus $10 delivery, which was in my price range. It sounds like he works out of a basement and it's not an actual florist shop. I guess he gets the flowers at a discount somewhere else. The flowers were good and it was a decent size but looked like they were just put in a vase, not really a nice arrangement. He also got my name wrong on the card which of course was embarrassing and unprofessional. Sent him a text about it and no reply (he had been replying to my other texts about the delivery). Miguel was so amazing to work with!!! His expertise and knowledge of flowers, seasons, arrangements, and elevated taste level ensured I had the most exquisite flowers and stayed on budget! We got married at The Boathouse in Prospect Park - it was really helpful that he had worked in the venue several times before, and knew his way around. I gave Miguel inspiration images for my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decor. I provided most of my vases and buckets to save on costs, and Miguel was happy to store everything (about 5 large boxes!) for 4 months. For my ceremony, we had buckets of babys breath lining the aisles, two very large arrangements at the 'alter', and he made a beautiful garland of orchids. My centerpieces were mini arrangements (8 per table, x 10 tables) of all white, mixed bloom flowers. We met a few different times to talk about my vision, in season flowers, comparable swaps, and he provided quotes and notes of our meeting each time. Miguel was such a pleasure to work with, and I felt he went above and beyond to get us the best flowers he could at the best cost. A week later, and my apartment is FULL of flowers from our wedding day :) Miguel required a small $100 deposit to hold my date, and didn't ask for anything else until the week of the wedding.
