Let me preface by saying "I don't do cardio" - I don't run and I most definitely don't spin. I've…read moretried it in the past a various different studios, big chains, smaller neighborhood ones, even ones like Barre Cycle or Yoga Cycle where you split the workout. By this point I felt like I gave it enough chances and it just wasn't for me. And that's ok. *Enter BeSpoke* I chose to try this studio because I work nearby and if you're like me, once I get home from work, I probably am not going to leave again to be active. Sign up was easy (online) as well as check in once you actually got to the studio. I don't know what I'm doing so I asked for him to set up my bike and even to clip in the shoes and the person at the desk that day (sorry I don't remember your name!) was super helpful. Class at any new studio, especially a workout you don't normally do, is intimidating, but I made it through my first class. And then my second class. And then after that I thought my office would enjoy the torture, err I mean cycling, so I ended up booking a private class! OMG TATYANA WAS THE MOST AMAZING HUMAN BEING. She helped me with every detail and made us feel extremely welcome the day of the class. She even had some refreshments for us! So sweet. Ok basically what I'm trying to say is GO TO THIS STUDIO. Even if you don't cardio or spin, give it a shot! All of the instructors I've taken so far have been great, Lynsey and Orlando to name a couple. I feel stronger and more confident only after a few classes. I don't do all the "moves" just what I can and I still have fun and get a great workout. The studio is located at Fig&7th, bottom level near the food court and across from Gold's. They have cubbies for your shoes and lockers in the restroom (this can get crowded for the after work people just FYI). They even have showers and some toiletries. I should mention that shoe rental is included as well as a sweat towel. They also have a water filling station or water for purchase if needed. No excuses! Super grateful to have had a really nice experience here and open up my mind!!! I guess I do cardio now ;)

I've taken a few different classes here now and i've loved all of them!…read more First of all, the facilities are great. They're clean, well maintained, and have tons of amenities. The best part is THEY HAVE TOWELS. When you go into the bike room every single bike already has a clean rolled up towel on it for you to use during class, and when you leave the room there's a basket of moist cool towels to wipe down with, and in the shower there's clean shower towels to use if you want to shower. If you've never taken a spin class before, you will sweat and you will sweat A LOT, so having towel service and not have to bring your own towels every single class is a HUGE bonus. Especially if you're coming often, if you had to bring your own towels every time you'll be constantly doing laundry just to wash your towels. The restroom/locker rooms have everything you need, including showers fully stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and by the sink there's deodorant, lotion, and other toiletries you might want to use. Secondly, they rent out cycling shoes included with the class! Here's the amazing part: after you've taken your first class, they remember your shoe size and the next time you sign up for a class they'll have your shoes waiting for you in the little numbered cubbies by the front desk when you get there! So you just show up and see what bike number you are and your shoes will be in the cubby that correlates with your bike number. Lastly, the spin instruction is great! The classes are super high energy and motivating and an amazing workout. They incorporate various positions on the bike as well as an arms workout using some light weights, so even though you're technically taking a spin class you're getting a full body workout. For those who have taken a spin class before but at a 24 hour fitness or something, this something entirely different. This place is also great if you're new because at the beginning of every class they actually have an assistant come into the room and help you get set up on your bike. Every segment of the class is set to music that correlates with the bike riding, as well as lighting in the room. It really is a whole experience and the time really flies by even while you're getting an amazing workout. For those who have taken Soul Cycle, I'd say this is very comparable though the facilities are not as nice as a soul cycle. All of the teachers I've taken are great but I have to make a mention of OT, who teaches the Thursday evening 6:30pm class. I was blown away by her energy and enthusiasm and motivation. Like I literally felt like I was riding into battle with her leading the charge and I felt so pumped up both physically and emotionally. She also had an amazing playlist. Lastly, the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and THEY VALIDATE PARKING. The facility is on the first floor of Fig @ 7th across from the gold's gym. The only thing I don't like about the studio is that the music is a bit on the loud side. They have a free jar of earplugs right before you go into the spin room so there's always that option if it's too loud.

The store is my man den from heaven, and getting suited is a lot quicker and way more fun than I expected (at least if your not use to bespoke suits). Here was my process: 1. Measure and design a custom suit (see comments on this process below) 2. 12 days later suit arrived and a fitting took place where a few nuances got tailored (if needed) 3. 4-5 days later suit is ready for pick up/delivery I've spent way more money for suits that are half as nice, so the price point was another bonus for me, these things are affordable and excellent quality. The last and most crucial element is that these guys guide you, blending fashion and style with what you feel comfortable in, so you end up elevating your style and getting exposed to new options at your own pace... I've had a few things done now, a shark skin suit and a wedding outfit and both have been a topic of conversation. Latif

Tl;dr: If you have a thing for clothes and want to experience the "best of the best" (in every…read moreregard), Jerry and Ivan at JB Clothiers are the guys to see. Period. From the first call to the final fitting - and their post-delivery followup - every aspect of my experience with them was aces. In too much detail: Absolutely fantastic in every regard - JBC isn't merely the finest tailoring Los Angeles has to offer - it's literally a "Destination Clothier." This is going to be a long review - but then again I had a really wonderful experience, and in so many ways, that I can't sum it up quickly. Personal background - I have 25 years' experience selling exotic cars to very high net worth clientele in Los Angeles, and I am very aware of a what a luxury experience looks and feels like. So I sort of walked in the door "loaded for bear." My other experiences had the veneer of luxury, but not the substance of luxury nor the quality of product. A glass of wine doesn't overcome the fact that the end result is a disappointment. Anyway - I could no longer find clothes "on the rack" that were made of fabrics I wanted (sport coats and suits in particular). I had tried two "made to measure" clothing stores (Suit Supply and Indochino) and been disappointed with the results, so I searched for a literal in-Los Angeles custom tailoring service (where I could consult *directly* with the tailor - not just an on-site rep for a tailor half a world away). After much deliberation, I made an appointment with JB. I must admit I was somewhat skeptical by this point, when I arrived for my first consult, even after all my investigation. The feel of JB Clothiers is EXACTLY what I was hoping to find when I walked in for my first consult. After meeting Jerry (the founder/proprietor) and his partner Ivan, I had great confidence that my research had paid off. The conversation about what I was looking for and how they could achieve it was quite in-depth (and I actually learned a few things about my taste). Jerry and Ivan suggested subtle ways of "expanding my taste envelope" while still well within my taste bandwidth. There are myriad choices to make - and with each one I was getting more excited to see the end result. The measuring process was thorough and precise, having me adopt different postures and re-measuring many times. I was there for the better part of an hour. About a month later, Jerry called to set up the first fitting appointment. I about died when I saw my coat for the first time. It's gorgeous and not so much a coat, as a garment, I think. The details are exquisite - and they are everywhere, beyond the special embroidery you'll be offered. It is quite literally a work of art. We tried it on, and made various adjustments, and I left not sure I'd be able to wait until it came back. Long story about how I Dunning-Kreuger'd the first alterations, which were literally put back on the 2d fitting. Sorry I wasted your time, guys. But by this time, I was so hooked on both the product and the experience, that I added a matching pair of slacks to the coat, turning it into a 2-Piece Suit. Going back the third time, I picked up the pants - they are not only gorgeous with the same attention to detail as the coat, but they fit me unlike any pants I have ever owned IN MY LIFE. They are utterly incredible. Fantastic! At the last fitting all of this was immediately and obviously worth every penny and every second of time. And admittedly, I'd added considerably to the time by the alterations I thought I wanted in the first fitting. I have tried this suit on with nearly every shirt/tie combo I can put together - it it so wonderful! This experience was very much a splurge for me - and I plan to do it again as soon as I can. Yes - I spent about 50% more than I would have for a Canali suit off the rack. But I got 5x the suit as a result. I'll never again waste money on clothing - what JB made for me is a lifetime investment, and no clothes I've ever had fit that description. Really not sure how to better convey my enthusiasm than to say I can't wait for the next time I decide to tread myself and add to my wardrobe. At the end of the day, the expenditure at JB will actually saved me in the long run - no more wasted money on clothes that are sorta "close enough" but never right. And no more wasted time trying to find them, either. Did I mention I love this suit? I love this suit! And I had a total blast along the way! Thanks guys!

This place is nice but maybe a little overrated…read more Jerry's not a bad guy and probably not a bad salesman. I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Sadly, most of the items were damaged, including very simple tasks such as shortening T-shirts -- which were also done poorly. What made the experience worse was the lack of accountability: no apology, no professionalism, and an overall rude attitude from both the tailor and the staff. The focus seemed purely financial, with no respect for the client or the garments. The team appears inexperienced, lacking both the technical skills and the understanding that tailoring and design are crafts that require taste, care, and respectful communication -- not just tools and prices. I strongly do not recommend bringing valuable pieces here for alterations, and I would not advise learning or training with them either. Design is an art, and customer service is part of that art -- unfortunately, both are missing here.
