Our popcorn and drink cups were ready at the express pick-up shelf. I filled our sodas while the daughter buttered the popcorn. The lobby/concession area was well kept. The theater was super-clean. The a/c was perfect. The recliners seemed newer than other AMCs. They worked well and were very comfortable. We had no issues with the sound or picture quality. All this made for a perfect movie going experience in watching The Odyssey for 3 hours.

Regal Unlimited makes movie going easier and cheaper. It pays for itself with 2-3 visits a month. Matinee pricing is about $13 per movie and the regular price is $16-17. Regal Unlimited is about $25 per month. You can watch as many movies as you want in a day, week, or month. I often take a free day and plan on watching 2-3 movies back to back. Tickets are purchased at the concession stand. I usually go there instead of paying the 0.50 charge for online booking convenience. It's easy and quick when the line isn't long. You may want to bring a light jacket or cardigan because the air conditioning can be cold depending on the day. The screens are crisp, the sound is great, and the reclining leather seats are comfy. The theater is kept clean, even in the bathrooms. There are multiple theaters for viewing which makes it easy to catch almost any movie you want to see and keeps the theater from being overly crowded. I've been able to catch movies here where my friends and I felt like we had the whole theater to ourselves and it was nice. Parking is easy in the free garage steps away from the front door, or you can even park in the massive lots of the mall and surrounding stores/restaurants. They also have a bar area, and a tiny arcade area to enjoy while waiting for your movie. The inside is a bit dated but I've yet to have a bad experience here.

But when a friend asked me to watch the new Evil Dead installment, this was the closest spot. It's very clean with an open lobby. Bathrooms are clean, with plenty of stalls. I bought my ticket online, which I highly recommend, as it's wicked easy and you can choose your seat (I chose the perfect seat at the perfect height, in the middle of the screen). The isles are wide and easily navigable and staggered in such a way that someone tall sitting in front of you won't affect you at all. The seats are clearly numbered so you know which seat, and which drink holder, is yours. The seats are cushy and redline! My ticket for the matinee was just over 12 dollars. They also have a Regal unlimited pass that's just over 18 dollars a month, or 220-ish? something a year. It essentially pays for itself in just two movies per month and gets you concessions discounts. If you're a regular movie goer, this is a good deal or would make a good gift! This was a good experience and when in this area, I would definitely use this theater over others.

It's certainly seen better days, but it remains a comfortable place to catch popular films, and it's still booked and busy at peak evening times. Part of the Regal network, a standard film here runs about $17 (taxes and fees included) for a matinee and $21 for an evening prime time show. All theaters feature recliner-style seats with lots of room between rows. It's not always the most well-maintained between shows (popcorn and candy wrappers left behind by earlier moviegoers), but it's serviceable. Given the price of tickets these days, I do wish they'd keep it a bit cleaner. A medium popcorn and medium drink can run you about $23, which feels insane, but the popcorn is always freshly popped and topped generously with butter. The concessions line is always long but moves quickly, and I've never been late to a show because of it. Generally this is one of my preferred spots for popular movies: easy to reserve in advance, easy for my friends to get to from anywhere in greater Nashville (so a great meeting spot), and parking is plentiful even when it's packed. The Regal Unlimited membership is roughly $30 a month, so if you see at least two movies a month, it's a great deal compared to AMC's offering. I also find better movie selection with Regal in general, and this location always features some otherwise hard-to-find Indian movies, which is a nice bonus. Not the fanciest theater experience in town anymore, but a reliable one.

He even asked if I was a member and let me know I could save 40% on my order (I believe Regal offers this discount on Tuesdays). The theater itself was clean and appeared to have relatively new seating. The chairs weren't recliners, but they were comfortable enough for the movie. While Regal Green Hills is definitely the more modern theater, we had a great experience at this location and would happily return.

A friend brought me along to the Special Parade of Planets Telescope Night and I had a blast. We roamed the roof to various telescopes and were able to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Seeing Saturn's rings and Jupiter's gaseous colored atmosphere was so unbelievably cool. The staff were super nice and knowledgeable as we approached each telescope. On the front lawn, an astrophotography enthusiast had set up shop and was showing live footage of the Andromeda galaxy. Whether you're already an astronomy enthusiast or just want to try something different one evening, the observatory is absolutely worth a visit!
