They were incredibly easy to work with and managed to get us in for a Father's Day weekend charter on short notice on Folsom Lake, which was much appreciated. We booked a 3-hour trip and packed in a ton of fun! The crew was totally flexible and let us customize the experience to be exactly what we wanted. We cruised around the lake, swam, and even tried water surfing behind the boat. Sky was amazing with our daughter--she gave her a lesson, walked her through the basics, and coached her the entire way. It made the experience so much more memorable for our family. They came fully equipped with everything we needed, including life vests for the whole crew. Whether we had wanted to just relax and cruise or stay in the water the whole time, they were happy to go with whatever worked for us. Next time, we're definitely going to try the tubes and the floating island--they had it all ready and it looked like a blast. Scam & unreliable Do not book with this company. They are…read moreextremely difficult to communicate with and will ignore calls for days (voicemail box is full). We had a full day trip planned for months and 2 days before the reservation they emailed with the completely wrong pick up location. After many calls we finally got ahold of them and they said they would "check on the depth of pick up location we needed". There were never any changes or confusion on our end. We always communicated the correct location with the company. We never heard back. The entire day next day, just 1 day prior to the reservation, they ignored every single communication we tried (email and 20+ phone calls). Then at 10pm the night before they sent a text cancelling the reservation. They are completely unreliable and unprofessional.

!AVOID - BEWARE! Avoid Tahoe Yacht Charters at all costs…read more Our experience was a disaster from start to finish. We were promised a 3 PM departure, but after endless delays and runarounds, we didn't get on the boat until almost 7 PM. Their rep was unresponsive, even telling us to stop calling because he was at Six Flags with his family. We wasted money on Ubers due to being sent to multiple incorrect pick-up locations, including an Airbnb they rent out and a dock they weren't authorized to use (which staff confirmed, mentioning they know they aren't allowed to pick up at Connolly Beach). Once aboard, the grill was broken, leaving us with raw seafood, steaks, burgers, and hotdogs. The boat's power failed, stranding us in the dark for an hour. The captain didn't introduce himself, apologize or provide safety instructions. There was no reason given and promised to upgrade us due to the "inconvenience". We were finally dropped off in a random residential area with no directions on how to get back to town. Tahoe Yacht Charters refused to reimburse any of our additional expenses. This company's lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. Do yourself a favor and choose another charter service or be prepared for the runaround (get everything in writing).
