I took my 2 grandsons, ages 12 and 16 on the tour. What a blast and very well organized. We started with a safety talk which included how to raft, what to expect and then introduced to our guide. Our guide, Simon, was the AWESOME! She was our captain and kept us on the best course for an awesome experience. OMG, we all had so much fun, got wet laughed, dipped in the calm water, then wooshed around the rapids, repeatedly. The trip was from Boca to Floriston with class I-III rapids. My neighbor told me about this place and I had no idea. She had taken her grandsons on it the week prior and when she told me about it I said let's go! We made reservations for 1:15 and got there at 12:30. We checked in and pretty soon we had more people show up. A young man, his name is Adam, started us off by handing out life jackets and helmets. Adam then told us how to put them on and telling us a little about the rafting. We then headed down to the River and he then started telling us about safety issues. At the end he started separating everyone into groups of 4 and 6. Since it was just my neighbor and I we were very lucky to get not just Adam, as our guide, but his girlfriend Reese(who is also a guide) and Reese's sister. It was a prefect day, no wind, it was hot and all I wanted to do was jump in. We started out, got a little ways down and we were able to jump in. Water was cold but felt really good. I went to get back in and the 2 girls knew exactly what they were doing just hoisted me in. Very impressive. We went down some really good rapids and Adam was very good on directing us on when to paddle and when to stop paddling. At one of the rapids we stopped at the bottom to wait for the rest of the boats in our group to make sure everyone got thru safely. One boat turn on its side and everyone fell out except the guide. Adam had already told us what to do if something like this should happen. So my neighbor and I put out our oars and pulled one person close to the boat and hoisted her in. We felt like pros! Our group of friends had a "beautiful day" rafting lol We rode the bull, full send laying on the raft, and also cliff jumping too!! Just went rafting with Tahoe Whitewater today !!! What an amazing experience. We had an absolute blast!!! Chris was our safety guide and photographer from his kayak. Adam did our safety briefing which fun and we learned so much ! Diesel was our rafting guide and man I gotta say an absolutely fun character... he left us laughing all the way and had so much knowledge about local area. I learned so much about my home area that I didn't know. He shared his story and how he became a rafting guide and what is required. The river was low at 500 fps, but that was perfect for our group of four aged 58 to 62. Super easy float that anyone can do... and even if you are a non-swimmer. This company is very safe and very professional. We will be back with them next spring to run from Verdi to Mayberry Park. Can't wait !!! Chris was also helpful with my questions on my interest in getting started in inflatable kayaking and gave me great advice. Solid, positive fun loving crew who also care about the river environment! We had a wonderful time on our half-day trip down the Truckee! Skylar was a wonderful guide and a great Trip Leader. He was so kind, patient, and bubbly and I really felt safe on the water with him guiding our raft. He pointed out wildlife and interesting rock formations down the river. I would love to request him as a guide on my next trip if possible! Everyone at the outfitter was so kind and greeted us with smiling faces. The outfitter is located in an RV park with plenty of parking and good signage to direct you to the appropriate place. They think of everything and will even hold your keys for you when you're on the river (incredibly helpful). The process of getting to the river is streamline and easy. Their safety talk was quick and I felt prepared to get on the river. I will definitely go with this outfitter again and I cannot wait for my next trip! I highly recommend this crew for your rafting excursion. They are fun, competent and did I say fun? Which is exactly what you want in the boat with you! The other tours are only available on Spring and/or has different meeting place. One is at Pilot Hill , another in Lotus, CA, etc.If you are SLT local, pay attention to that bit of information upon purchasing because they are a bit of a drive. Online waiver is convenient. You can bring a water bottle if you can hook it in your life vest, otherwise you can leave it in the bus to retrieve later. They have a camera guy for your pictures for purchase. For the tour that meets in Truckee RV Park, they have a shower stall in the bathroom and a deli right next door. Huzzah! read more

I cannot say enough great things about this business! A few ladies and I decided to organize a girls trip to Tahoe. We felt this trip wouldn't have been complete without a little adventure. So I searched for cool things to do in Tahoe and up popped 'Tahoe white water tours'. I booked our trip online about 4 months in advance of our actual date, which helped us not chicken out. I got a confirmation that full payment wouldn't be collected until the day of the tour, which I thought was great! Once we arrived, the office staff was quick and to the point, very pleasant and efficient. We were instructed to wait for our tour bus, which would be arriving soon. About 7 minutes after check-in the bus arrives. We board the bus along with the lead tour guide, the trip photographer, and the bus driver, all which had such a great system and attitudes for getting us to the rafting site quick with many elements of fun. The bus ride was short, informative, and helped build our anticipation for the tour. Our guide (Keagan) was so great! Super chill compared to our loud and crazy. Our guide made us feel safe, did such a great job clearly communicating instructions and safety measures as needed throughout the tour. This trip was about 4 hours from start to finish and we couldn't have been happier! Do yourself a favor and book a tour with this company.
