My husband and some friends of ours decided to try this restaurant a few months after it had opened. I will never be eating here again, I miss the old restaurant that was here, food was a hell of a lot better. We ate here on Friday night when there was quite a crowd. We were treated well in spite of the restaurant being busy, and didn't have to wait very long for our food. The food was good home cooking, not fancy but delicious. Sadly, they had run out of rolls but we got Texas toast. My husband had the porkchops which were delicious, and I had the country style chicken. It was good, but not what I expected. It was a chicken patty, breaded, fried and topped with gravy. The couple at the table next to us had the same reaction when it arrived for them, so don't expect fried chicken like KFC. Sometime we would like to go back and try their breakfast, which is served all day. The restaurant is very cute and well appointed in spite of being in an old building, and the bathrooms are beautiful, new and clean. read more

Very nice interior- fun and clean. Ordered a ribeye and it was seasoned well, little more done than asked but overall good. The halibut was average (little dry but seasoned well). Maybe a little overpriced for the quality. Still probably going to be one of the better restaurants in Brigham City area. read more

We have eaten at the Rusted Spoon restaurant every 5 weeks for over a year on our way to Idaho to buy lotto tickets. Today, we ordered breakfast and coffee as usual. Today, the service was extremely slow and inattentive. Half an hour to get served and had to ask for a coffee refill. The wait staff was too busy allowing a three year old to run wild around the restaurant. They chased and encouraged the young boy to do whatever he wanted. We will never go back. Stopped in for a cheeseburger based on other reviews. Bar area was a busy social scene at 10:00 am, but there was a more quiet dining area. Breakfast plates looked good, but the burger garnish snd buns were less than fresh. Probably best to stick with more traditional breakfast items despite what the waitress says. read more

We live in Perry and love taking our family to the Spoon for family Breakfast or Dinner, but we were really disappointed last night when me and the husband had a long day of hunting and needed dinner it was around 8:30 Pm when we went in knowing they close at 9 and it was some younger kids working and the attitude we received from them to us coming in a half hour before they close was RUDE! Very uncomfortable and remarks from one of the waitress in particular towards us and the food was cold and it felt like we got pushed out the door by 9:08 we literally had to eat in 10 minutes not happy at all and not sure if we will continue to go there, we have had better service there!! read more

Stopped in this evening for a late lunch. A very nice and helped young man helped us to our seat and told of the specials and got our drinks. A young lady Morgan helped us and did an amazing job. She told of the house recipe of some "crunchy" French toast. We tried this and it is more than I could have ever imagined and I would recommend this dish to anyone looking for a great meal. We then had our meal of some good hamburgers with a large order of smothered cheese fries. I was unsure of trying this location again with a new restaurant in it. I would give this no stars if that was an option. Everything was terrible. We have giving this place 4 chances now to see if it would get any better as we had high hopes that it would. But each experience we've had here was worse than the last. The restaurant itself is adorable but the food is decent at best. The waitress passed me all morning never refilling my coffee but filling everyone else's. My husband finally went to the bar to get my coffee refilled. The table next to us that got sat way after us received their food before us. When the food finally came it was wrong. We waited 40 min for 2 simple breakfast dishes. The waitress said oh that doesn't come with bacon.... well we ordered a side of bacon because of that.... worst service I have ever received. We were at the table waiting 20 min for our check so we could leave and finally gave hi waiting so we went to the front where the waitress was sitting there talking to her friends. We text in to their system to try to talk to the manager about it before writing this and no one ever got back to us. I don't care if we are starving and there is no where else to eat. We will never go back. I would suggest you look into the better places to eat in Ogden like the pig or Jessie jeans on 25th street. Found this place on Yelp while passing through. Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered the oatmeal with berries which was good. The oatmeal wasn't mush and the berries were freshly cut. Our son ordered a plain waffle with peanut butter and syrup and he said it was good. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy and doesn't think the gravy was homemade. He wasn't a fan. The hash browns were undercooked but the eggs were cooked well. I'm super picky about my bacon and like it very crispy. I sent it back to crisp it up and it came back out almost burnt. Not their fault based on my picky instructions. I prefer strong coffee and so the coffee for me was weak. We would go back and try something different. read more

Went up to Perry with my dad all the way from salt lake to get my future 1970 Ford Bronco. After we purchased the car, we went to this restaurant. The food was AMAZING. I have always wanted to eat here and my family was taking me out for Mothers Day. I understand its a busy day. However my husband called to make reservations and was told we do not take reservations only call ahead seating so he put us on the list for call ahead and go to the place. we are told 20 minutes. Not a problem. After waiting 40 min we check to see where we are at they say Next. Wait another 5 minutes 2 more families sat down and we ask them if we are next we are told they have to seat "reservations" first. We say we did call ahead because we were told no Reservations, they quickly try to correct their statement. Wait another 10 minutes and another walk in is seated first. What did we notice after waiting for an hour those that were seated knew someone in the reataurant. Two families walked out after experiencing the same situation. Finally 60 minutes after arriving we walked out. We did a call ahead 20 minutes before arriving arrived cbecked in and told 20 minutes but yet 60 minutes later we ended up walking out woth no food. No checking in with those of us waiting. Clearly unorganized and preferential trwatment given to friends. Will not go back. Sad I never got to try it but first and last impressions are strong. I was fine to wait 45 mib or so but after being lied to about reservations, time of wait, and who was next will not go vack again. Sharing on yelp as well. read more

I took my 92 yr old mother in for lunch. The coffee is watered down severely, the hash browns my mom requested be browned all the way through were cold in the middle and barely browned on the top. The french toast was pretty good and the ham was tasty. Overall it is very average breakfast diner food. The worst part was that we waited almost 40 minutes to receive our order and this food is definitely not worth that kind of a wait. This is such an awesome place to get food, the atmosphere is great, people are awesome and the food; AMAZING!! If you're just riding through or live in the area, I definitely suggest making this a place you visit often. My husband and I had breakfast there this morning. We each ordered a two egg omelet (his with ham and spinach, mine with spinach, sausage, and onion) with hash browns and a "scone" instead of toast. The omelets were packed full with cheese on top and inside. The hash browns were delightfully crispy. The omelets and hash browns completely filled the plate! The scones came on separate plates and were IMMENSE! We ended up sharing one and saving the other for tomorrow's breakfast. The honey butter for the scones was really yummy. Our waitress was very nice and the service she gave us was great. Wish we could have ordered pie, but we were going on an adventure and had no way to take it with us.
