    Waffle crisp but nothing special

I'm giving it a 4 even though the food was a 3 because the employees are so nice!!! The service was excellent! We had a breakfast sandwich, 2+2+2 and a waffle with fried eggs and. Avon. We ordered a lemonade and a side of scones. Everything was good ish..... except the scones was so greasy I couldn't eat it. The bacon was on the crisp side and perfect for me but all in all just a more expensive Dennys nothing too great or even too bad , other than the scones. The place was cleanish! I could see where they tried to wipe a spill off the wall in our booth and the floor near the kitchen/register had spills.

Whole experience was great here. The hostess guy was very nice and seated us right away. The waitress was friendly and attentive. My food was delicious and it was a big enough portion for me to bring home leftovers. The tater tots were so good and crunchy. My husband got the breakfast burrito and he loved it. I had a little bite and it was great! Very cheesey and tasty. My toddler got the kids cheese pizza with fruit substituted for the fries. The fruit bowl exceeded my expectations! It had blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, strawberries, and cantaloupe! Needless to say my little guy loved it. The restaurant is clean and bright. The bathrooms are also well maintained. I like this location a little better than the Layton one (but love that one too!). This one just a bit brighter and more open feeling. Definitely will be back!

Came in for brunch with my husband and despite the parking lot being very full, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was a little stand offish at first but once I asked for her recommendation of the food, she opened up a bit. She recommended the Belgian waffle with strawberries so I ordered it plus a side of eggs and bacon. My husband opted for the eggs Benedict and we also added a side of biscuits and gravy to try. Oh, and two cups of coffee. Our food came out quickly and it was just okay. There was a bit too much hollandaise sauce on the Benedict, the waffle was a little warm when it arrived, and the biscuits and gravy were just a lump of mush. The food was definitely better than some other diners we had been to, but nothing amazing. We were also taken aback that our order was close to $70. No fret on paying it; just a bit surprised how expensive diner food is getting these days. Maybe we'll scale back our order next time and try some other items.

Food was good. Solid flavors. The scone was way greasy, which was not good to me. The cinnamon roll was amazing. The best thing we ate by far. Skillets/hash were okay. Nothing special. Service was kind. A bit slow, but okay. Atmosphere was good. Nice diner feel. Won't be back soon, but when I do...I'd get that cinnamon roll again.

Service was quick. Food was plentiful and delicious. Ambiance was nice and cozy. Staff was efficient and fun. My brothers, sisters and I enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend this restaurant. Sorry didn't take pictures of our plates I was hungry. Plating was perfect.

I actually really liked this restaurant even though when I saw it I wasn't so sure about it. The wait staff here really makes this place super welcoming. Everyone there was so nice and happy to be there. I ordered a pretty basic breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and bacon and it was delicious.

Meatloaf is always hit or miss while eating out and this was a hit!

We love Ramblin Roads! Their food is always delicious and the staff is so nice. We walked in tonight at 7:30, not realizing they close at 8, and they were as nice as could be. We didn't feel rushed and every time we apologized, they assured us that it wasn't a problem. Everything we've tried here has always been fresh with a genuine home made taste. A few of the items that we've ordered that we love are the crepes, the Malibu chicken, the meatloaf and the strawberry walnut salad. The breakfast is always a delicious option, too! Their fries are the kind that are battered and crispy, they have fry sauce and the most delicious ranch. It's always a hit when we choose Ramblin Roads!

Got the Rambling Platter without ham (don't like it in my breakfast) and replaced toast with pancakes .

This is the second time I've been here. The first time I tried getting into Jeremiah's Restaurant, but as always, it was super busy so we found this place on Yelp, and I'm so glad we did. The food was so good then, so I convinced my husband to come here today instead of Jeremiah's. It did not disappoint. I ordered the Rambling Platter and substituted the toast for pancakes (they were fluffy and somewhat chewy). Loved it. My husband got the Biker's Platter with the biscuits and gravy. Delicious. The building and interior is very outdated, but clean, and the waitresses always nice. This is my new favorite place for breakfast.

The chicken was so tender I was surprised & the bacon was crispy. So good. Was special of the day.

    Undressed.

3 1/2 out of 5. Went here with one thing in mind... the scones. Sills in Layton has won our culinary hearts with their wonderful scones, and we thought we would try these. They failed to meet the quality of Sills' offering. They had a slightly discernible difference in taste, like they were cooked in stale oil. The honey butter was also not as sweet as Sills'. Their homemade raspberry jelly was succulent on the scone, however.

They don't take reservations but I called ahead as the staff suggested to get a sense of the expected wait time. I called again to say we were on our way and When we arrived the hostess was more interested in answering the phone than helping to seat us. Over and over again she ignored us and kept us standing with all the other hopeful patrons in the tiny waiting area. With several open tables. Wtf? Finally she came to the conclusion she could seat us. Get a plan. The wine list is decent but unless you can educate your staff as to what's on offer and how to help your guests, why have it? This is typical of utah eateries. I get it. You're hamstrung by the alcohol laws to some extent but if you're going to offer wine, make the effort to educate your staff if your patrons have questions. Once ordered, our entrees came out so fast as so suggest they'd been prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. The glossy thick and cloying sweet gravy of the sauerbraten would assume nothing less. This place has promise but it's small and noisy. It was packed by 6 pm on a Friday with large parties of families toting kids in strollers. If you're looking for something quiet and intimate, you might find it on another nightie somewhere else.

One odd thing--they use table clothes but then put paper on top. This felt a bit off for the fancy atmosphere they were trying to create. We had lots of delicious food. Our meal started off with the Daily Bread & Butter and Caesar. Both paired well together. For entrees, I had the Wagyu Zabuton, which was cooked well and was paired with flavorful sides. My husband had the Lamb Chops, which were beautifully plated. All the cocktails were amazing, but my favorite was the Madam's Choice. They didn't do anything special for anniversaries, but it was fine because we were full of food and took the leftovers home. I'm excited to try this place for Sunday brunch next!

I had to wait what felt like an epoch for my delicious, chicken-y reward, and despite the size of the restaurant and relatively tame level of busy-ness, wait staff still took their sweet time and did not get bread out in a timely fashion. The ambiance is like 'millennial interior design final boss' - imagine being trapped within the pages of Magnolia Table, and everyone looks and sounds like the first Google results for 'hipster'. I wouldn't mention this if the smarminess of staff didn't compound the frustration of having to wait forever for like three pieces of bread. So, if you're in the area and have a refined palette that craves rich, delicious flavors against a backdrop of open French windows, I'd say go for it. The food definitely outcompetes the annoyance I felt. But seriously, get the chicken sandwich.

We almost missed the sign and it is located in a small corner of a shopping area with another establishment next door. Inside, it has a cool casual vibe. You order at the counter and then go grab a table if you are dining in (they give you a number to put on your table). We both had the classic burger, mine with pepper jack cheese. They come with chips so you have to upgrade for fries or onion rings, and that will cost you an extra $3.75. The burgers were really good, and though I know it's subjective, this was one of the best fast-food burgers I've had. My wife enjoyed her onion rings, and I liked the steak fries, though they could have been crispier. You have all of your condiments, including fry sauce, at the table. In addition, they have a variety of shake flavors. I chose a "regular" peach, regular still being pretty big. There were bits of peaches in mine, which was nice, but I did not taste a peach flavor. I was hoping for something that tasted more like peach ice cream. The shakes are thick, and you have to eat them with a spoon. Very yummy. I'll order a different flavor the next time we're passing through. Our meal cost about $34, not counting a tip. So, not inexpensive. Still, very worth it to us. A special shout-out to Bodie, the young man that helped us with our order. Very friendly and helpful. My wife and I think we'll make this a regular stop on our trips to Colorado and California.
