Nice diner with cozy decor, the service and atmosphere is why I give it a five star. I wouldn't say their food is super amazing but it is good, and great for the family diner feel and a local restaurant rather than some chain. I have been here many times with my family and will continue to go! I ordered the burger patty plate with the added patty for my child to share, plenty of food for myself and child. They cook eggs very well in the exact way you order them, I like over medium and it's hard for me to get someone who can cook them that way, so very pleased with that. The burger patties were a little dry but good flavor, the hash browns have a nice mix of crispy bits and soft, the rye bread was also good. Over all great place to go with consistent great service and yummy food

Okay. We picked this place as a last minute decision cause the Spousal Unit finished shopping faster than I thought she would. Love you, dear. It was across the street from where we were. Had second thoughts when we walked in. It has the look and feel of someplace that hasn't changed in 50 years. But I have to temper this with the fact it was clean. My big moment was when the food arrived. Oh, yeah. Sub out the hash browns with tomatoes. Ditto the toast with a scone. I loved it. Gotta remember this place.

Hell yes! Moores is exactly what I've been looking for in Ogden. Old school diner, super clean, friendly staff, a ton of regulars and super quick service! I sat down at 9:15am and was done eating and had the check at 9:31am. Got the "light breakfast" with hash browns... 1 egg, 2 slices bacon and a pancake. Pancake was absolutely perfect, warm syrup, salty butter... if i wasn't so stuffed I'd have 3 more. Egg was perfectly over easy, bacon was amazing... and the salsa... I'm coming back with a wide mouth jar and asking how much to fill it to the top. Last and most important... coffee was kept topped off. Gotta keep my heart beating at 120bpm throughout the whole experience. 10/10 recommend for my diner lovers!

Well, well, well! I have got to say, this breakfast place here at Moore's Restaurant out in Ogden on Wall St next to the Mall is definitely a go to place for some authentic traditional breakfast. Wife and baby girl shared the Combo Special and I had the Veggies Skillet! Everything tasted sooo good for breakfast!! The bacon, especially, were bigger than normal and was cooked just right; not too greasy! We'll have to be here again next time.

    The diner.

Quaint diner with a counter. Food was good. This is a older place with traditional breakfast foods. Recommended.

There was a hair in my dad's senior special. After we told her about the hair she was very dismissive and rude.

I cannot believe that I had completely spaced this place off my conscience! I knew it definitely…read moresounded familiar but I should have "Yelped" it prior to ordering, though it definitely wasn't as bad as the first time. Still needs major improvement though. I ordered the New York Steak which also includes two sides. I had to pay an additional fee to upgrade my steak to 12 oz (definitely would not have been an issue had the restaurant followed instructions! -sigh-). I explicitly requested my steak be WELL DONE with absolutely no pink meat whatsoever. And whaddya know? The 12 oz steak arrived, grilled to perfection on the outside, with nothing but pink, raw (and raw tasting) meat on the inside. Ugh. This steak had so much potential and could have easily been a five star review. It was juicy and tender, but raw. Then, I'm reading all these reviews on here stating people wanted a medium rare and how overcooked and dry their steaks were. Do the chef's all have dyslexia or something? Because what other's received is exactly how I wanted mine done (minus the dryness of course..wink, wink). Anyways, chopped it all up and re-fired on the stove with a little butter spray as pink meat makes me violently ill. It worked out in the end, but the steak definitely wasn't flavorful. However, it became edible, though I should not have to take the time because my bank account was hurting me after this purchase. A steakhouse chef cannot actually cook a WELL DONE steak or follow explicit "no pink meat" instructions? Something seriously is wrong there. Anyways, my two sides were sauteed mushrooms (just little button brown is what you receive with a small amount of unflavored sauce at the bottom). Once again, had to "doctor " those up to make them edible as well. At least those were in their own separate container with a secure lid for the drive home as I had requested that ALL sides be in their own separate containers to prevent cross contamination. My second side that I requested was the Parmesan tomato. Basically it's a full tomato cut into two halves with melted cheese and seasoning on top. The tomato was very ripe, juicy , and fresh tasting. The issue was, that when you took a bite all that cheese and seasoning fell off of it completely. Not only that, but the two tomato halves were in the same container as the steak. Yuck! And remember I requested it all be separate from each other. The tomatoes had the fat/grease steak taste and pretty much ruined the value and taste of them. There were absolutely zero condiments, utensils, or napkins given for the "to go" order which I found to be a bit cheap and bizarre considering the cost of the meal, 20% tip, etc. This restaurant DOES have potential with at least what I just recently tried. Sounds like the employees and management don't care too much though for customer service or reading comprehension. Could have been five stars. Guess they all just don't care too much over at this place.

Everything was on point from the start. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, cheerful and very helpful. I could tell the staff were having fun but also working together as a tight knit group. It was quite impressive. I started with a local beer, the Cerveza Roja by Ogden Beer Co., which was very refreshing and touch darker than other Mexican beers, which I really liked. I also ordered The Burger, medium, with fries and let me tell you it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Again, everything was on point. The patty was probably one of the thickest patties I've recently seen in a burger, all the ingredients were fresh, the meat was quality, and perfectly cooked (my mouth just started watering as I write this), along with the fries. The brioche bun was soft and actually smaller than the burger and ingredients combined which is usually the opposite nowadays. Seriously perfect. I also ordered an Old Fashioned, again perfect, and The Hole In One (Bourbon drink), also very tasty. They also have a nice variety of mocktails as well. Next time I'd like to try something else but not sure I can pass up that burger. The staff all had different favorites so that should tell you there's a lot of other great choices to try. I can't stress enough how amazing the staff and my server were. I also found out who the owners were and could see they totally set the example for everyone working there. The whole crew ran around helping each other out and expediting like a well oiled machine but fast and nimble. I had to let the owners know on my way out as well. I know where I'll be eating on my next trip to Ogden. Cheers!

Tonight was prom for a few districts, so by the time we arrived it was overrun, but we sailed right through. The croissants they give you while waiting for your meal are delightful and almost like a dessert. A little heavy handed with the salt on the onion rings, but good flavor and enjoyably messy. Portions can tend to run large. Be prepared for leftovers! My dining companion got spasagna, a hybrid spaghetti/lasagna dish which she enjoyed. I had a combo ribs with chicken strips. The chicken strips had a hot honey sauce which had just a little kick. Ribs are of the fall-off-the-bone variety, rather than competition, but great flavor and nice traditional sauce. Everything was good, though we barely made a dent, and packed the rest to take home. Comfortable and friendly environment. Our server was helpful but didn't hover or rush. Enjoyable evening.

My wife got the lemon chicken, it was really good too. My kids lived the fish tank in the front area. We also thought the ceiling fans were cool. Service was pretty good, she was nice enough but forgot my son's drink, we had to ask the lady that brought the food out for it because it never showed up and we hadn't seen our server in a while.
