But....We showed up after a 4 hour drive through the night ready with cash in our hands to trade our camper in and take theirs off the lot. Our walkthrough guy was AMAZING. With that being said right off the bat he had to call in his cleaning guy to vacuum up rat poop. Rat poop was everywhere, on the floor, in the drawers, including where you put your silverware!?! If you touch a countertop your hand was covered in filthy and sticky. It was disgusting. They agree to get their cleaning guy in to clean up for us because "we rushed him" we had our appointment set up for 2 whole weeks...with that being said if you rushed something as simple as a cleaning guy what else do you rush. If it wouldn't not have been for the parts guy telling us they were waiting on parts to repair the fridge we would have walked away without it working correctly. When speaking with Matt about our issues we were having he said it was an us problem. Excuse me? Matt and the owner treated us like fools. All other staff members on the other hand were very nice and understanding! They 100% accommodated to all of our needs and we really appreciate them more than anything! We are not trying to slander or anything of the sorts. Beware! First time at the dealership due to being the only one of 2 in my area that is a dealer for my specific camper brand. I ordered some parts a few weeks prior and they were ready for pickup. We I arrived at the dealership I found that my parts order was incorrect not matching my unit even with providing the VIN and pictures of what I needed. That is not even my problem with the dealership at all, I can get over a small problem like that. My real issue here is Emily working in the parts department. This employee flew off the handle with me yelling at me when I said excuse me while she was talking. I was dumbfounded with the extremely low level of customer service and yelling at me especially after I did nothing at all to receive this treatment. As she was yelling I asked could I speak to the manager and she started marching off saying yea he is my husband. I decided this may be a good time to exit the building not knowing what the hell I have gotten myself into here. I decided to call in to the "manager" her husband on the road to play it safe. I was told when calling no one was available and they would call me back. I did receive a call saying sorry the ordered me the wrong parts but I explained the parts are not the issue it was Emily in parts that was the issue and her customer service. I was told she must of had a bad day and I explained that is no excuse for the treatment I received. A shot time later the GM called pretty much the same story laughing at how she was acting explaining he has been married for 40 years and that's just how women can be sometimes. Please be aware of the type of people you are dealing with here I will be taking all of my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same. read more

Stay away from this place if you ever want to use your RV again! We purchased our preowned RV from this place and took it in shortly after for repair. They kept it for several months with us haggling back and forth to get the repairs completed. It's been back in the shop 2 times in the year and a half we owned it and each time it's a 4-6 month turn around. We have used our camper 3 times! They switch personnel like you switch underwear so no one ever knows anything about your rig. Repairs are subpar at best. They lie about what's been done. Even GM lies and doesn't have a clue what his people are doing. Save your money and most definitely your time and go anywhere else. read more

I arranged to buy my Four Winds 5th wheel from The RV Guys from Waco and went there to pick it up. (It was a deal on an older model, and I had to act fast based on my previous experiences trying to take my time with good, used models. They go fast.) My salesperson was great over the phone and got everything lined up and made an appointment for me to do the paperwork and pick up the trailer. When I got there, everything was OK. People friendly and all that. I kind of felt a little rushed, though. First, I know nothing, nothing about travel trailers and 5th wheels. I had just bought my hitch the day before. The sales guy hitched me up, but I was riding way too high up front and way too low at the tail end. They could have made sure my rig was level before I left, but I guess that would have taken some time they didn't want to spend. He told me, as if that misstep was and would remain unavoidable, that I'd need to rotate my trailer's tires more often than normal because that angle would be putting extra pressure on the rear tires. Not knowing any better, I drove off like that. I have since learned that my hitch is adjustable and so is the 5th wheel's part of the hitching mechanism. I could have driven out of there nice and level, important, especially for a guy who's never towed a trailer before. I would have liked a better walk-through even IF I had already purchased it. It's an older model. My walk-through consisted of my salesperson standing in the doorway while I walked along the length of the trailer after they'd hitched it to my truck. It was a deal. I wasn't expecting perfection. It would have been nice to have had the salesperson point out what needed looking into (like the broken bathroom door's slide) rather than my having to find it after I got back, though. NOW, having said all that, everyone there was helpful, and I thought the parts guy was particularly friendly and informative. Maybe my sales guy was new or something or maybe that's the way things happen when you buy first and then show up later. Much like a starter house, this is my starter trailer to use for a while until I learn about things and decide what I want to use in my RV'ing life down the road. Normally, I'm the kind of guy who likes to deal with people I know and have dealth with before. While I'm not screaming upset with anyone, I think I'll try somewhere else next time. read more

Needless to say with his bad attitude we got out of there quickly and went down the street to McCain's where they rolled out the red carpet for us with great service. read more

Bought my RV from this RV dealer used and noticed it has some water saying the slide out after being in it a week . My husband decided to just fix it on his own, then 3 months later our RV started spewing water from our bathroom, I paid an RV tech to come out and he concluded it was a factory defect so I contacted the RV guys and they helped to start up a claim, didn't take them long to get the material in and repaired took them a week to do. When we picked up the RV we noticed all the repairs weren't don't because our floor had water damage when we sent it to them do repair, when confronted about the floor being repaired they said it was a marine grade floor and I didn't need to be replaced,now if you fast forward to five months later my floors are weak and they refused to fix it even though that was covered under warranty I called everyday and try and get them to repair the flooring too but they just avoided my calls and passed it off to different to no avail. I will never deal with them again and strongly advise anyone to not buy from them. read more

Going into buying an RV I assumed the process would be like dealing with "car salesman" type people. Not at all like this here. We were referred to Remington and as soon as we met him I felt like I've known him forever. He's very personable and down to earth. He made us feel like he wanted our business not for him, but for us. He listen to what we wanted and didn't try to pressure us into getting an RV that was out of our budget. They did not have what we were looking for on the first visit but he called as soon as he had one that fit what we wanted. We are now proud owners of an RV and I don't feel like I've been pressured and so far very happy with the purchase. Outstanding service. No, really. To begin with, we hadn't planned on buying a trailer the day we visited The RV Guy's - we were only there to look. But our salesperson, Bear, was such a gem to work with that our looking turned into considering. And for the next hour, in 100 degree heat, Bear walked us through several trailer styles and helped us mete out the best trailer for our needs. Not to mention he's funny, easy going, and you don't feel pressured AT ALL to buy. In fact, I think we pressured Bear to sell. Great service department. After our travel trailer was at another dealer for 3 months and they could not complete the necessary warranty work, so we contacted RV Guys. The service department said they could provide the necessary warranty work for our KZ Connect. The unit was only here for 2 weeks and all work that was unfinished by the other dealer was completed. So this is a tough review! The sales part went great everyone is the best! But here is the big warning! If you are buying an Rv with a generator do not take possession until you have seen it run for at least an hour or more! I took possession of mine without doing this and then I was told sorry we don't do warranty on Onan generators you have to find,take and deal with having a brand new generator fixed. They do not test them for this reason if there is a problem they make it yours. They do great on everything but this so PLEASE DO NOT TAKE DELIVERY UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR GENERATOR WORK!!! read more

Purchase use 1997 National motor home. I email ask them if ready to travel response Yes. Then we went look at it. Ask salesperson if everything works she point 2 things generator and side panel water damage. Ask anything else she said we have inspection and ready to go when you purchase it and about level jacks that will be inspection everything will be inspection we start up and ran but coach a/c did not get cold please have check out.I put deposit on it. Came back on 4/21/17 show my wife she like it ask again salesperson if ready and jacks again. Yes we have everything inspection and paper work by middle next week. So purchase it .Two weeks later I call her and text her she gave service manger# I contact him said ready May 4 Wednesday @1200 . So we out pick up got there salesperson not ready last bet inspection and ask get lunch while we wait so hour later got back no one greet us so I went parts dept ask for service manger sure he coming down hall should I see him he turn went other way parts clerk he going lunch. Salesperson came out I'll go over everything . I ask her about jacks she said since on gravel not safe to use know need block but she went show me how turn on button and told me everything level out auto. Then I ask about tanks if they where inspection and service she yes. Took her word on it mistake.Ad stated that appliances check out great how that if no propane and knobs tape up,sleeps 4 only bed no couch.When we put gas it gas gauge did move broken,generator tail broke drag behind from dealership,then we got home jacks did not work,tanks are tasty dirty even fresh water tank knob switch tanks was frozen up,toilet leaking,and roof has soft spot. So I text salesperson twice let her know all problems and I request list of inspection that service dept.did she response 2nd time She let manger know and contact me back that been over week now. Update 6/16/2017 Got notice from Texas Dept.of Motor vehicles that title was rejected do to the title dealership turn was not recent title advice me let dealership know witch I have not hear any thing from. other Issue had was I ask sales rep if title was Texas title told yes that family kids selling out estate mis leading again.Surprise Surprise find out there is Safety recall that can lead to fire or fires even after engine off, Now put my Family Safety instake. This is a "heads up" for anyone thinking of purchasing an RV from The RV Guys. My husband & I purchased a $50,000.00 toy hauler at the end of April & took possession of it on May 6th. It was a 2018 that has not been previously owned. We were told that everything was in working order. On May 7th we called & notified them that the refrigerator was not working & they sent a service tech to our park & he said there was no problem & it usually takes 2 to 3 days for a refrigerator to cool. My son who is living in it kept calling them for the next four weeks trying to get something done without any luck. I called the owner in the beginning of June & he was condescending & rude. He told me that the refrigerator was working when the toy hauler left his premises & the only way warranty work could be done is if the toy hauler was on his property. I called McClain's RV & spoke to Nathan Quigley & told him the issue. He sent out a tech & he pulled off the back panel to the unit from the outside of the toy hauler (which the service tech from The RV Guys did not do) & found corrosion on the lines that he said had to be there for at least 3 to 4 months. So, at that point we knew that our refrigerator never ran before it was delivered to us as promised by The RV Guys. Then Nathan Quigley filled out the warranty work with Domestic (the mfg of the refrigerator) & they had a new refrigerator within a week in a half & did the installation for us at our location without us having to bring our toy hauler to them. So, the only time "warranty work" must be done at a business such as The RV Guys is because they are unwilling to provide excellent customer service.
