Great stay! We have stayed here a few times and this is my first review. This time, we stayed here 2 weeks. We're up front in pull-through site 44. Yes, the road noise is apparent. We didn't mind it as we stay inside the RV most of the time. The site itself was great. The sites are long, wide, have a grass yard and a concrete pad and patio. Power, water and sewer worked well. We only used their WiFi as backup as we're using a cell-based Internet solution and were connected to AT&T. I have several interactions with the office staff and all were quite favorable. We even asked to use the kitchen in the clubhouse and that was approved both times. Trish, the manager was always very pleasant and accommodating. Some other things we like: - They sell a 10# bag of ice for $2. We use a lot of ice, so that was nice. - They text us when a package arrives for us. - They sell propane onsite. - They have a pool and a hot tub and they just got done refinishing both and got them opened during our stay. - They have laundry rooms at 2 locations within the park. We used the larger one. - They have plans to add more amenities this year. We look forward to the next time we stay at Oak Creek RV Park. read more

I came in for 1 night stay. Called as I was getting close to town, was told I had a spot ready and to come in when I got in and if it was too late to just come in the morning. Staff was very good and courteous. The site was paved and mostly level, hook ups were great. I didn't use any of the amenities besides cable TV which was HD. Walked through the park with my dog a few times that day, the park is very nice, kept very clean and will definitely come back some time in the future. read more

Called to make reservation same day as arrival, very helpful young lady on the phone. Nice park, hard to make out RV lot #'s in the dark. I have 3 young dogs, nice dog park. However, I had to pick up other dog messes so it wouldn't appear I had left it multiple times. After a week, someone started letting their dog mess in my camper area, guess they knew I had dogs and would be obligated to pick it up too. Like I said, nice park, don't stay long- they appear to not like outsiders. Most of the Full time/regular campers are very unfriendly!! read more

Pros: Beautiful landscape, bordering along a few livestock pastures. Nice big, flat spots for RVs with plenty of parking, concrete pads and patios and even a grilling area under its own gazebo. HUGE great-room with pool table, exercise equipment, TV and full kitchen and nice private, well-maintained bathrooms. Cons: The staff appears to be dim to say the least, and clearly have no previous experience in the art of customer service. The creek that runs through the park is home to a number of critters, so be on the look out for many bugs, frogs and snakes (not the parks fault, just making a statement) and most disappointing of all: THE POOL!! Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful and fenced in with a stone hot tub and waterfall, a few tables and umbrellas with chairs but the pool water and the condition of the pool is DISGUSTING. I was just there this week, and the water is an absolute cesspool of floating foreign objects, algae, dead bugs, FOOD, all topped off with a nasty sheen of oily residue floating on top. If anyone from this park reads this, PLEASE take some of the money I KNOW you're making, and HIRE A POOL CLEANER! Absolutely, unapologetically disgusting!! read more

The park is pretty nice. We usually choose based on amenities and the term resort. This one has a large portion of people who live on the property. It's clean, well maintained the only draw back is the road noise. It's hard to relax with the constant humming of I-20 . read more

Let me tell you something about my experience living at oak creek. First of all we thought we would make our home there for a couple of years. They allow you to put up fencing, the pads are double wide, so we began to make an outdoor living space even putting in sod and pavers, I had a beautiful rock garden all lit up when you were outside watching tv, during the process of making this space, we were told it was the most beautiful space, it was really small but managed to carve out a beautiful outdoor space. Meanwhile my neighbor and the office manager Pam are very good friends and decided to make my life there miserable, you see my neighbor wasn't used to having anyone close to her, as a matter of fact no one lived there more then four months. She accused me of everything under the sun, including blowing a leaf under her unit. Needless to say Pam was reporting all this bullshit to the owners but when she did physical damage to my yard, that was never addressed. We were gone within 7 months. We never broke a rule, we never stayed out late, we are very quiet people. They don't take care of the grounds, we invested in a lawnmower, weed whacker and a blower. I stayed here for 5 nights. Nice park on the outskirts of Weatherford. It was easy to find right off the interstate. There is not much immediately around the park so expect to drive 10-15 mins to get food or shop. But I don't mind that all. They have a lot of nice pull through spots, so it was easy to park. Great water pressure and great power. Cable was ok, not as clear as it could be but very watchable. WiFi was not the best, sometimes it worked, other times not really. Ask for a shaded spot if possible. Many spots have a lot of trees but others only have a couple small trees. Those don't help much in Texas heat. Next time I will be asking for shade. I loved the pool and hot tub. Very nice and well kept and not overly crowded. Everyone at the park seemed friendly but it was quiet and people keep to themselves. It looked like it was a nice crowd of people in nice RVs. No shady looking individuals you sometimes see. Sorry, but some of you will know what I mean. I am a women traveling alone and I felt completely comfortable. They had two nice laundry and shower facilities on site. The laundry on the back of the property is best. The only downside to the park is there is a lot of road noise from the interstate at the front of the park. I could not hear it with the AC running but if I went outside the trailer or the AC was off at night it was pretty loud. I was at the front of the park, if that sort of thing bothers you maybe ask for a spot at the back of the park. One other thing I wish would have been different is that they don't open the pool until 11am and close it at 10pm. I wish the hours were longer. And the laundry and shower facilities are only open from 6am-10pm. I'm a night owl so I wish it was open later. But the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. read more

Almost five stars. Stayed a couple of days in pull-thru site #5 which had a large side yard and was long enough for our 37 ft MH with SUV attached, plus some. Very level site. Excellent satellite access. Beautiful office, meeting room, pool area. Laundry was very nice and everything worked (quarters avail. in office). Lovely park-like setting with a creek running through it. Excellent staff. Just off the highway along the frontage road (on-ramp to West 30 is actually right at the entrance to the park). Only two negatives that I encountered, and they both may be related to the location of our particular site. WiFi was pretty bad (and actually, so was Verizon) and the road noise was pretty loud. Since they have a number of full-timers living here, I would guess that site location is critical for better WiFi, and the road noise may be a lot less in other parts of the park. Enjoyed our stay, nonetheless. read more

On our cross country vacation and needed a place to stay for the night when we found this wonderful place. It's right off the interstate so there is a bit of road noise up by the pool, otherwise at our campsite it was fine. Speaking of the pool & hot tub... beautiful. Our kids enjoyed an evening swim. All the lots are level, paved, grounds are very well kept. The bathhouse & laundry are very nice & Super clean!! Pets are welcome & everyone had their animals under control & on leashes. Staff was friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again! read more

Stopped here overnight on cross country trip in our 40 foot rig with a tow vehicle. At first look the park is beautiful with level concrete pull-thrus. Sites are close together and not very long and laid out close together with tight turns. Lots of trees with low branches. Over abundance of Bradford pear trees in full bloom triggered severe allergy flare up. Right next to I-20 for easy on off access but constant road noise all night. Noisest place we've ever stayed at. Will not be returning to this RV Park. read more

Clean, good location and staff is super friendly. The lady at the front desk was more than helpful and extremely kind. She could tell I was frustrated after being turned away from two other locations because of my SERVICE dog. She went above and beyond to get me a spot for as long as she could. We needed a two week stay and she only had a 5 day availability but assured me she would check daily to try to extend our stay as far as she could. She could tell I was upset because of the problems we had at other locations and reassured me that she would do everything she could to help us! She went above and beyond to try to not only get us a spot, but to be kind to us and that made all the difference! read more
