Went about from store to store, retail chain to retail chain for weeks (neigh months) looking for a quality safe with the options my family and I required. With that said, every store I went to, folks didn't know too much about them, they were limited in their stock and available options, or had other options, but they were available online only. When it came down to getting ready to pull the trigger, I never felt comfortable with any of the presented options at retail. I finally found The Safe House (Nashville Safe House) on the web, and decided to stop in for a peek at their goods. This is the safe mecca. With that said, they have some really high prices on their options as well. This is not a place to stop in for a cheap mass produced aluminum box. These are quality safes with superb options. There are so many things I never even knew to consider in looking at and purchasing a safe, and these things were explained and made clear while browsing their selection. Very knowledgeable staff (as they should be), willing to discuss any and all options available for safes, safe transport, set up, and accessories/requirements. Just purchased a Kodiak safe from the Nashville store (don't let the outside fool you) and had the best experience throughout the whole process. Not only was the selection huge but the sales staff was able to assist in finding the right safe that met our needed dimensions. Pricing was perfect - even with the delivery charge for out of town deliveries. To put us over the top was the professionalism of the delivery guys (Maddox & Austin). This is my third safe purchase from The Safe House. Always a great experience shopping , large selection in the showroom, I think they have more safes on display than all the other safe stores combined. I ended up with the Browning Pro Series after looking at Liberty at another store. Delivery was top notch, crew of guys show up and Bam ! install my safe in the house and I'm impressed with the ease and skill they showed. There is not another choice in my book when you are looking for a quality safe. Oh and the lady I talked with that helped me select my safe was hilarious and fun to deal with. read more

I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I am moving from out of state to an area about an hour outside Nashville. I am looking to buy a second gun safe as well as hire someone to unload an existing 62 gun safe from my moving truck. When I asked if they delivered / unloaded to areas outside Nashville their reply was "if we're out that way", asking if I could pay for the distance I got "again, if we're out that way". They couldn't explain what "out that way" means... I definitely will not do business with a company with such poor customer service. I understand if you do not want to deliver, don't tell me you will deliver "if we're out that way" with no way of understanding what / when that will mean. read more

I purchased 3 safes 1 large guns safe top of line they sell and a Small and large lockbox. 1)The large safe which was paid in advance I was told it would be ready in a couple weeks took over 2 months to get ready. I never got a call from them any update I got I had to call them. This was not a big issue but the next was where I think the customer service failed greatly. The large lockbox was boxed up and when we opened the box the key would turn but safe would not open. I called them the next day and was given advise on how to get it opened, still could not get it open. Called the following day and the lady said she would send a ups tag to return it. I hadn't received it the next afternoon so I called back and the lady told me she had spoke with Mark and he said it was not their issue. She advised me that it was an issue that I'd have to take up with the manufacturer. They would not exchange, repair or refund this unit. I think given the large sum of money I spent with them that asking them to replace or repair a defective unit was asking a lot. Most any retailer would do something about a product that was messed up from the beginning! read more
