Just looking for a stylist since moving to town. I wanted somebody that was good with Asian hair and I stumbled upon The Salon. I called to ask about their services and for the price and I was referred to Jaimee. I wanted a LOB which was her specialty. It was quick to make an appointment and I even had to change my appointment and they were able to accommodate me. The haircut was really good and Jaimee listened to what I needed and took inspiration from the photo I took. My cut included a shampoo, blowdry, hair straightening and a quick curl. I was offered a beverage before my appointment which was nice. Happy with my hair! Also, big lot with lots of parking and close to the freeway.

I researched salons in my area to try and was impressed with Violet's reviews and photos, so I booked with her for a cut. She really listened to what I wanted and analyzed my hair (since I'm experiencing postpartum hair loss and have waves) to give me a custom experience instead of a generic haircut. It really meant a lot to me! I'll definitely be going back to her, and will hopefully add on color services in the future.

Found this Salon near my house as I'm still pretty new to the area. I saw they had great reviews and decided to call and check if they'd take a walk-in. To my luck, they did!!! Jaimee was phenomenal! My hair was sooo long and heavy. She worked her magic and I'm definitely coming back in 3 months for my next trim with her! My hair feels so much lighter and the layers have movement. I found Jaimee at The Salon after doing a Google search for an experienced stylist nearby. That search led me to Yelp, where I came across dozens of glowing reviews about her work. Seeing that she's a Level 4 Stylist (the highest level at The Salon) gave me confidence that she could help me achieve exactly what I was looking for. After checking out her Instagram and seeing her beautiful work, I texted Jaimee to set up an appointment. She replied promptly, and we scheduled a consultation and haircut for the very next day -- I loved how easy she made the process. My hair had been very long and straight for quite a while (see "before" photo), and I was ready for a change -- something easier to maintain but still stylish. I told Jaimee I was thinking of a lob (long bob) with an A-line cut for a more modern look. She asked if I had any photos, and when I showed her my inspiration pictures, she immediately said she loved the style and that it would look great on me. During the consultation, Jaimee explained exactly what she planned to do and why, giving me options for two different lengths. I was a little nervous since I was cutting off about eight inches, but I felt completely comfortable in her hands -- and I'm so glad I trusted her! She was incredibly meticulous and precise, making sure my layers and angles worked perfectly whether I part my hair left, center, or right. The result is a chic, flattering cut that's super easy to style. I can wear it sleek and straight or add some curls, and it looks great either way. Even my husband was very impressed -- he's already booked an appointment with her too! Thank you, Jaimee, for such a great experience and for giving me a haircut I absolutely love!!

The Salon is my go to place to get my hair done! I've been going to this place for almost 2 years now and I don't usually write reviews but with the consistent results I get, it deserves one! I always book with Uyen, she's the best! She's attentive to your hair goals then she meets you in the middle to achieve a realistic outcome based on your current hair texture and color in the healthiest looking way possible! She's like a baker who is very precise and thorough on her work. My hair is like a lot like a head for 2-3 people and lol and dry but she's always gentle and patient. She recovered my hair with the drastic change of being blonde and going back to natural color - She's a pro on her craft! I'm already excited to have an appointment with her. I had an appointment today with Violet. All I wanted was a cut and color. Before booking, I called and spoke with the appointment coordinator and specifically requested Violet because I liked her photos and reviews. I was told she was a tier-3 stylist and that my hair would not cost more than $200. When I arrived and met with Violet, she told me she could only do permanent color on my roots and semi-permanent color on the rest of my hair, stating there was absolutely no way to remove the remaining brown already in my hair. She explained that I would need to return every 8 weeks for additional semi-permanent color until the brown was gone -- which, given the length of my hair, would take years. This approach did not make sense to me. She then quoted me $300, which already exceeded what I had been told. When I mentioned the original estimate, she went on a long explanation justifying the pricing rather than addressing the discrepancy. The breakdown she gave me was: * $86 for a haircut * $125 for root color (even though my root growth was minimal) * $120 for semi-permanent color That totals $331 before tip, which was very different from the estimate I was given over the phone. Because of the confusion and pricing, I said I would prefer to only get a haircut, as I truly needed one. At that point, her demeanor completely changed. She repeatedly said she "didn't have time" and said she would "just do long layers." This made me uncomfortable, especially since my appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM and only 30 minutes had passed, most of which had been spent discussing pricing. I decided to leave rather than risk receiving a rushed or poor-quality cut or being charged unexpectedly. I was very disappointed with the entire experience and will not be returning. She also mentioned that the person who gave me my original estimate was "located in China," which further added to my concerns about professionalism and scam. I have attached both the pricing list and the quote I was given for reference.

This review is for the amazing Lucy! She is truly the queen of blonde hair and balayage! Her attention to detail and knowledge of color is a true gift from God. As a Latina with thick and lots of dark hair, it was always difficult for me to trust a hairstylist. I never knew it was possible for me to go as light as I wanted to. Lucy truly changed my look and made me look amazing! She never tried to take shortcuts to finish faster. She treated every section of my hair with care and precision. It doesn't matter what side you flip my hair, you can clearly see her technique. My friends, family, and co-workers loved my hair. What I loved most about Lucy was that she was kind enough to answer my questions regarding hair care days after my appt. I'll be coming back! I have finally found my hairstylist! I am obsessed with my hair! I bought clip in extensions from The Hair Shop and got them blended in by Chelsea Lance. I am speechless and how amazing my hair looks. She did such an excellent job at blending them in that I can't even tell I have extensions. Chelsea was also helpful in giving me a quick rundown of how to put the extensions and just tips and tricks. If anyone has extensions, I would highly suggest coming to here because she knows what she is doing. I am so happy to have found a gem to come to. Everyone is also super friendly and welcoming. As we are in COVID, precautions were used. They took my temperature and asked questions before I came in. Everyone wore their mask and it was not crowded. I felt safe in there. I walked in for a consultation about how to fix a failed & blotchy at-home bleach attempt (LOL), and thankfully Mia was able to discuss all my concerns and help me envision what we should do to fix my hair. Luckily Mia had enough time to take me in on the spot, and I am so glad she did! My experience at this salon was wonderful because of my stylist! Kaela was my hair stylist and helped me find a new look for this new year! I had my previously hair done at another salon and it was getting really grown out and needed to be refreshed. The last picture I listed below is how I came into the salon. The first two pictures are the outcome! Which I absolutely loved! Kaela was extremely helpful and thorough throughout my whole consultation. For my consultation Kaela went over my options of what I can do with my hair and the process of it. I tend to ask many questions and Kaela was very open to all my questions and concerns. Kaela worked fast and efficient but most importantly left me with what I wanted and a masterpiece. I highly suggest Kaela at this salon. I had a fantastic experience with Jaimee Thai who really listened to what I was looking for in a haircut. She's very sweet and easy to work with! I have thick strands, but not a lot of hair, so my hair tends to fall flat (which I absolutely dread). Jaimee was able to add in a bunch of layers and keep my length while also adding volume to the top. I'm very pleased with my haircut! I'm definitely going to go back to Jaimee. The salon is otherwise very clean and really cute. I love that they use Oribe, a very high end product. The staff I've met are great as well! My only complaint, which ALMOST caused me to give them a 1-star review was the difficulty in finding the location and the subpar communication system. While it's easy to book an appointment online, it was really difficult to reach someone at The Salon. I've read other reviews that they don't really use the main phone? So, you have to leave a voicemail and hope for the best, I guess... or try to directly call your stylist. This turned out to be a HUGE problem when I couldn't find the location and I couldn't get a hold of anyone, which (at the time of writing this review) doesn't have a sign up yet, so Google maps will just send you directions to their parking lot. For those who are new/future clients, the salon is in between the pet supplies store and the barber shop! I wish I had known this beforehand so I could avoid all the panicking I was doing when I thought I was going to miss my appointment. Hence, the loss of 1 star in this review. Quarantine hair was physically hurting me so I looked for a salon near me ASAP. It's always wary going somewhere new for the first time but my worries were for no reason. Michelle was AMAZING. The salon was amazing everyone was amazing. They were very clean and thorough making sure to sanitize everything before and after I touched it as well as other people. They kept the customers far apart. They made sure we were comfortable despite all the new policies to keep people safe. Best of all.. my hair has come back to life! Both in coloring and getting a much needed hair cut I came out of that salon feeling and looking better than I had in months. Highly recommend. read more

I've been a customer of The Salon for 3 years. I am very dissatisfied with my experience. I booked an appt in Dec for an appt in Jan for a hair cut and protein treatment. I booked my appt for the morning and was given the disclaimer the stylist has the habit of showing up late (she has shown up late to a previous AM appt we had together). I show up on time and the stylist isn't there. I wait in the chair for 21 mins to receive a text that my appt has been changed to following day. After asking the staff to look into this I am advised my stylist moved all her appt to the next day due to personal reasons. I had already been waiting for 20 + mins and had to take my own initiative to figure out why it was changed. No one is available to cut my hair then, so I come back the next morning. The next morning, the stylist is LATE again. At least this time she text me ? I only got a hair cut no protein treatment like I requested when I booked in DECEMBER. On top of this experience, I was charged $30 additionally due to the thickness and length of my hair. I've never been charged extra for the length and thickness and I've gone with the same length and thickness. I'm extremely dissatisfied with management and the way I was treated as a loyal customer of 3 years. read more

Extremely upset for them wasting my time. If you schedule an appointment online, the quote for baylage on long hair is $185 at most. Yet once I'm there, I was quoted more than 4 times that amount. I expected to pay maybe up to $300 at most with certain additional costs, but not as much as a new iPhone. How does that happen? I'm sorry, but not worth it. And they should really be more honest about their price to avoid wasting a customer's time and the hair stylist's time. read more

Lucy is amazing!!! She's like a meautician - a magical beautician. I gave her ideas of what I wanted (summer beach-ready hair) showed her pictures, and she picked up on the important parts of my requests and delivered. I wanted to go lighter, balayage, cover the grays but wanted a more blended, natural look. Together with her assistant Regina, they made my 1st experience at The Salon a pleasant, memorable experience. I've already also booked my follow up! This is such a wonderful place! It's quiet and comfortable, and the staff is wonderful. I came in with a chocolate balayage that had faded out, and I told Danny that I wanted to go lighter but not too blonde either. He asked me every step of the way why he was doing what he was doing, while asking me questions to make sure that the results would be what I wanted. I am so extremely happy with how it turned out! It is way better than I imagined, it's natural and not a drastic change but still noticeable. read more

It was my first time here & I got my haircut by Jaimee, she was so sweet & nice! I scheduled over the phone with a different stylist & when I walked in I was told they were out sick but someone will be with me shortly. A couple minutes later Jaimee came up & let me know she'll be covering for the person who I was supposed to be scheduled with, & essentially I can be squeezed in or I can reschedule. I decided to just get it done cause why not lol. I had a good amount of dead ends & showed her a picture of what I wanted which was long layers, she let me know she'll have to cut off the dead hair to get me what I wanted, which I was more than okay with cause I wanted whatever to be done to make my hair look good. I couldn't be happier & ended up with more length than I thought I would! Will def be back for color soon read more

I always have such an amazing experience here, I usually come in for a cut and style and have booked with many of the girls there and they have all been amazing and more recently been booking with Alé and got a root and full color done today and it came out AMAZING, everyone there is so kind and the environment and feel of the salon is so welcoming. Alejandra gave me a Brazilian blowout and it was a great experience. She was very personable and accommodating and explained the process clearly before we started and as we went along. My hair looks amazing and I am excited to come back in two weeks to get my hair toned. The salon itself is clean and relaxing. I enjoyed my experience greatly and I will definitely be a regular here. First time here & was able to book an opening same day. Came in and was very warmly greeted and asked to wait outside due to covid precautions. Came in, temp was taken, hands sanitized, and mask on of course. Was greeted by Jaimee the hair stylist who was very friendly & welcoming. Showed her what I had in mind and she worked her magic. My hair turned out to be exactly what I envisioned it to be which was u-shaped layers with thin, whispy bangs. She did an awesome job & I would definitely return. read more

Unfortunately the service is slow. I have had my hair done here 3-4 times and every single time I have waited 20-30 minutes. I live really close and I have told them numerous times that I don't mind coming later if they call me, I just don't want to wait at the salon for 30 minutes. Every time I had been in they over book and someone has to wait. read more

It was really incredible experience at the salon, let me first praise their hospitality and kindness, my mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and she wasn't feeling good I convinced her to have a new haircut and I searched on Yelp and I found that they have the best ratings and reviews, I immediately called them I tried to take appointment for the same day but they were almost closing but I explained to the lady the circumstances and she said keep on hold for few seconds, she came back to me to tell me that they'll be more than happy to take care of my mom, we came here and Jaimee really took a good care of my mom and makes her feel comfortable and happy with new look she got. MIA IS A HERO !!! I had an appointment scheduled a month in advance to do a whole balayage and cut with another salon, but they cancelled on me last second ! I was short on time to get my hair done, and luckily I found this place. This magical salon filled with very friendly girls, and cute boho decor. I felt so welcomed coming here even though I scheduled a very last minute appointment. They could only do the toner instead of a balayage with the time they had BUT the amazing Mia recommended and reassured me that a good toner would be best for my hair right now. And she made it look like amazing ! She educated me on how to take care of my hair and why it's important. I'm so happy I didn't do the balayage. It saved me a lot of money on that end. Mia was wonderful from start to finish. I recommend her to anyone trying to refresh their hair and feel like a new person! 12/10 !!! read more

I went in today for a cut, color and balayage with Natalie. Natalie has been doing my hair for some time now and I was finally ready for something different. Natalie is so sweet and takes everything into consideration. Knowing my likes/dislikes I gave her my full trust and she blew it out of the park. I'm so in love with my hair. Thank you Natalie for always delivering and for being the nicest, most detailed, talented, human being on this earth. Ladies, you NEED Natalie in your life! On the day of my appointment, Grace greeted me and I was seated immediately. I brought reference photos for the type of curl pattern that I wanted. Grace asked me some questions about my desired curl pattern and explained that she would be trimming my hair so that I could have more volume. My hair is flat so I agreed with her suggestion. Once my hair was trimmed and we discussed the curl pattern, she began the perming process. She talked me through the process of the curly perm and helped me feel comfortable during my appointment. It was busy that day but Grace always made time to checked on me. My appointment was about two hours long and I loved the way hair looked when she was finished. Grace gave me amazing tips on how to maintain the volume and curls, and recommended some products for me to use. She said that I could any products that I'm comfortable with, but I decided to purchase the shampoo, hair treatment, and hair moisture curl that was available at her salon. I used her products for my first hair wash, and my curls still look amazing. I'm definitely going to be buying more from her salon. I had a good experience at Glamourous Hair Salon. Grace has great customer service skills, and is very knowledgable about curl perms and hair. I love my curls and I will be back.

First of all, the salon is very nice itself- it's modern, clean, cool layout design, and friendly hair dressers. This is a review for Crystal. I came in 2 days ago with dyed black hair, which was somewhat faded. My ideal look I wanted to achieve was a light ashy brown ombré / balayage. Crystal was very honest and told me my hair wouldn't be able to get to that desired look. She said she would try her best to get me to at least a natural dark ashy balayage. I trusted her and told her she could do whatever she thought would be best. She explained the process very thoroughly and told me we would get the desired look in sessions. I mentioned to her that I had gotten an ombré done at a different salon before and it was terribly orange and mortified me. She assured me that it wouldn't happen here. After doing the balayage and toning, she wasn't satisfied with how it looked so she went in to tone it again (which I really appreciated). The outcome of my hair was a natural dark ashy balayage, like she mentioned from the beginning. When the whole process was over I noticed some black still on my hair. I thought it was really strange because my roots were brown, then there was the black and then brown again where the balayage began. I asked her about it and she said it would go away after some washes. Anyways, I wanted to wait for about a week to see how much my hair would improve before writing my review and I wouldn't have written this review and rated the salon 2 stars if it hadn't been for all the embarrassment I've been receiving. It's only been 2 days but I've been getting comments like, "did the stylist forget to dye that part of your hair??" And "I don't see a balayage going on? It's just mixtures of colors." It turned orange with tones of red, which I pleaded to not want to see! I feel awfully embarrassed and want to hide my hair!! I don't know, I think she should've addressed the problem better and actually did something about the black when I made a concern about it in the salon.. I just feel so sad about it and don't love it anymore. read more

I found this salon through Yelp because it has a lot of good reviews. I am really particular when it comes to my hair because if something messed up you can't really hide your hair. You can't go around wearing a hat all the time just to hide your messed up hair. So went to this salon and as soon as I entered I noticed that the staff were really nice. I was assisted right away. I was not really sure what haircut I would go for yet, but angel really helped me. She suggested a lot of hair cut and hairstyle that will complement my face. She suggested the layered shoulder length hair cut since I don't really want a very short hair. I really love what my hair look. I just don't like how my hair was shampooed thought. Lucy Lucy Lucy!!! I've been going to Lucy for about a year to help me grow out my grey. She also dyed my daughter's hair blue when that was the rage :). She successfully matched the new growth to my multiprocessed hair and didn't try to sell me on another highlight process or something else. She really listened to me . I've been back for another maintenance toner and trim and now she's putting in tape-in hair extensions!!!! She's extremely responsive and always friendly. I've been going here about 10 years. Started with a woman named Dory, then met Martene. By far He is the best one. He's been there many years. He wasn't in last time I went two days ago so I saw Rosey. Another excellent , positive , considerate stylist. She did such a great job, even when I wasn't sure what I wanted. And she gave me $3 off. So I tipped her $6. The place is affordable, each haircut is about $14-20 dollars. And unlike other places , they've got quality hair dye for 50-60 dollars instead of the same product somewhere else for $80 dollars. Thank you so much Rosey! First, I'd like to thank Violet for being so flexible (I changed the date and time of this appointment several times!) and willing to take me in very early on a Saturday. Of course, she was on time and even offered me coffee =) Each process went very smoothly and I couldn't be happier, most especially with my haircut! I've been a client of Angelee's for many, many, many years and don't trust my hair to anyone else. My hair was so thick and frizzy that I always use tools just to straighten or make it look presentable when going outside. I waited for almost 3 months, did some research first before deciding to go to The Salon to get my hair treated. It was the best decision I made! My hair is so soft and it looks pretty!! Came in on a whim and Natalee was my stylist. I had my hair colored and cut into a long bob. Natalee took her time with me and I always felt like I was her main concern.
