Unfortunately, the finished color was completely different from the photos. My hair was left an ashy, mousy brown with very little dimension, and the blonde money piece I requested in the front was gone. I was also charged an additional $50 for toner, which was not explained to me beforehand. I was very disappointed with the result and will need to have my hair corrected elsewhere. Based on this experience, I would not return to Trisha.

Worked with a stylist couple who trained with some of the best and eventually they retired. Went to another salon which started out well and ended up with an orange hair disaster. Called Wheeler Davis and spoke to the owner. Explained my needs, including a color correction and wanted a fabulous longterm stylist to work with as I was modeling. Discovered he booked me with the 'walk in stylist" so I only booked a consult. During my consult I realized the stylist knew her stuff and wondered why the salon wasn't allowing her to build a client base. Well I discovered why when a few months later over half the staff walked out due to poor working conditions, unhappy clients and along with a dose of snooty vibe. I followed the stylist who did my color correction and have been with her ever since. Heard Lo is interested in the Who's Who and famous people in the surfing world which I understand from a marketing standpoint. Lo darling...I'm in the Hall Of Surfing Fame and would have been happy to refer your salon but was treated like I was happy with Supercuts.

I reached out to that person as well and received no response. Message received. The whole experience was disappointing and honestly painful. Looking for a new stylist as a queer/trans person already comes with a lot of anxiety around whether a space will actually be safe and welcoming. Sadly, this interactions let me know that my concerns were real. I can't speak to their intentions, but I can speak to the impact: I did not feel welcomed, wanted, or safe as a prospective LGBTQ client. I wish businesses could be more direct about who they aren't prepared to serve, because being quietly redirected elsewhere after explicitly asking for a queer/trans-friendly space feels awful.

Unlike most women who have extensions for length, I got extensions to fill in patches of hair where I was experiencing hair loss, and that was on the sides of my head around my ears. I was forced to keep my hair short for years to cover for it, but with the help of Melissa and extensions, I can actually grow my hair long. Melissa consulted with me and how we could do it and make it look natural, she selected the right colors to fill in, and really she gave me back my confidence. I've been doing extensions with her for almost 2 years now. I started out with tape-in, and then she suggested that I try K tip for longevity and just for general wear and tear since I travel a lot for business. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. She makes my hair look very natural and and the way she cuts them makes them, you would never know that I had extensions. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out, she's a miracle worker who has really helped me gain my confidence, learn how to do my hair again, and feel pretty and feminine. If I could give her 11 stars, I would!

I shared photos with a few other professional stylists to get their opinion, and they were genuinely mortified by the blend. I also want to mention that I was charged for removal, which I wasn't expecting based on what I was initially told. I've had this service done before by another stylist, and the difference in quality was very clear. The salon itself is clean and the stylist was friendly, which is why I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 1, but I wouldn't return for extensions.

My previous gal, that I was with for 12 years, is in Huntington Beach, and after the move, my roots really needed color before Thanksgiving, and I didn't my hairstylist didn't have time on short notice. I searched yelp for colorists in my area and Christine's name popped up - Well let me tell you, She's Incredible!!! The color is FABULOUS!! So subtle but rich, so pretty. Additionally, she only used 1 color, (other hairstylist used 2) so less processing on my baby fine hair. She was so great that I choose to have her do my extensions, and she not only put in the weft type I was wearing, she COLORED the one I had bought from the other stylist who picked out the wrong color, and I was stuck with it. Christine colored the weft beautifully, and that's tricky at best. Christine also applied the weft with much less strain to my scalp, then suggested a new type of individual smaller strands for my sides, that so far are AWESOME! If you want great color and a great stylist, look no further!!!
