A Must‑Try Donut Truck at Klyde Warren Park! We stumbled upon this donut truck at Klyde Warren Park while in the area expecting a quick snack, and instead walked away having tried every single flavor they offered. Yes, every one -- and honestly, it was worth it! Each donut was fresh, and crafted with the kind of care you can actually taste. The flavors weren't just different; they were thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly creative. One of the biggest highlights was the vegan Neapolitan donut. Vegan options can be hit or miss, but this one was so good we had to double‑check it was actually vegan. It had the same rich, indulgent flavor and perfect texture as the regular donuts -- no compromise, no "good for vegan," just good, period. It was one of those rare treats that makes you rethink what vegan baking can be. If you're anywhere near Klyde Warren Park, do yourself a favor and stop by this truck. It's the kind of place that turns a simple donut run into a memorable moment -- and we'd go back in a heartbeat. My kids have already asked a few times, ha!

Great options for donuts and open late! Luca and Angel were very helpful in deciding on what donuts to get. My boyfriend really wanted a Bavarian cream donut but they didn't have any so hoping they get some soon. We'll be back to try more flavors!

I'd had a bite of one of Salty Donuts a couple years back and it was really good so when me and my sister were in the area we stopped by. I ordered a traditional glazed and Horchata donut. The horchata donut was a 10/10! I'm a huge fan of horchata and this donut was top tier in construction and taste; it was so decadent, the cinnamon-meringue was light and perfectly sweet and the horchata mixture in the donut was unexpected but I loved it, I'm still thinking about that donut. The traditional glazed was good but I warmed it up and ate it later and I didn't care for the gritty texture of the glaze, still good but I'll eat that one fresh next time. I recently learned they have another location with a full menu so I can't wait to go there and try the other specialty donuts. Definite recommend!

Pretty disappointing. Online open time is listed for 8AM a few of us were in line waiting and there crew was still setting up during the listed "Open hours". If you're planning to stop by before work I wouldn't count on them being prepared.... It's now 8:15 and the truck is still not open .....

I stopped by The Salty Donut truck in Dallas and WOW - easily some of the best donuts I've ever had. I brought the donuts back to SF....and every single one was absolutely delicious - creative, beautifully made, and clearly crafted with so much thought and care. From the dough itself to the flavorful glazes and fillings, you can taste the quality in every single bite. These aren't just donuts - they're desserts worth flying back with! What I love most is how well-balanced the flavors are. They're unique without being over the top, sweet without being cloying, and each one feels like it was designed with intention. You can tell this team really knows their craft. If you see this truck parked anywhere in Dallas, RUN, don't walk! The Salty Donut is 100% worth the hype - and I'll definitely be coming back for more :)

Spouse ordered it for me. Can't really tell you which one it is but it was excellent and she had the doughnut so this is what I got.

I always appreciate something different. It's salty and sweet as described, with a dense but delicious doughnut that pairs perfectly with their excellent coffee. The coffee is well-balanced with light, creamy milk, and the sweetness, though rich, is enjoyable and not overwhelming. The flavors complement each other beautifully. I recommend being open-minded when trying the dense doughnut, as it's not your typical fluffy variety. Instead, it's a soft, dense, and crispy treat outside, offering a unique salty and sweet combination only found at this special food truck.

We first discovered The Salty years ago in Atlanta, GA when I attended a conference. I have wished ever since that they'd open a location in Houston, TX but sadly, they haven't (yet!). So whenever we visit Austin, it's always our little treat to stop by. While visiting friends in the Dallas area, we were excited to find a new location in addition to tne brick-and-mortar one. The other is a doughnut cart or doughnuts on wheels. You can order via their app and pick up there. Our favorite flavor has always been tiramisu, but it's no longer on the menu, so we decided to try the pistachio cannoli instead (I'm a big fan of nuts). It didn't disappoint! The doughnut was dense, rich, and surprisingly heavy when you pick it up. The pistachio glaze melted a bit in the Texas heat, but the flavor was still delicious. Parking can be a little tricky, though--they only have two five-minute spots for quick pickups. It was pretty busy when I stopped by; I saw a few other groups ordering too. Maybe they parked elsewhere and walked over. Either way, it's clearly a popular stop--and for good reason!

I was skeptical when I saw a trailer with only one GF banana mascarpone donut on the menu (wouldn't be my first choice normally) but it ended up being the most mind-blowing, moist, flavorful, and GF donut I've ever had in my life. I convinced my non GF friend to get her own and she was also beyond impressed. We sat there outside enjoying our lattes and donuts and I really contemplated going back for a second (or third). I now dream of going back...

Cookie Monster, Banana Creme Yay for extravagant donuts! Cute spot, but this isn't quite my thing unfortunately. A little too sweet and heavy. But my friend enjoyed his donut!!

The Salty Donut do-Nut disappoint! I grabbed the last brisket kolache and a great recommend from the nice lady at the truck for a maple brown sugar cold brew with caramel drizzle. 10/10 amazing!!! I loved ever bite and second of it. Paired with a beautiful day at the park. Dallas showed up to impress!!

They have a food truck location at Klyde Warren Park! I ordered their maple and brown sugar cold brew and their service at Klyde Warren Park was very quick. I went around 11 AM on a Saturday. There was a lot of people at the park, but there were no lines at the food truck. They offered pastries, donuts, and coffee. I also order their jalapeño kolache, but it wasn't anything special. I did enjoy their maple and brown sugar cold brew because it wasn't too sweet. Even though this was out of food truck, there were a lot of tables at the park and it was very family friendly. Overall, very quick service and a good stop if you want to spend time outside and want coffee on a nice day.

Cinnamon crème donut (?)(I don't know the exact name of this donut.)
    Frances M.

The best donut I've ever had! Not a dry bite on this thing. I mean...dang! I can taste the fresh ingredients in each bite, I travel to a dreamy place in each bite! This one tastes like creamy, cinnamon cake--it's moist and PERFECT! I hate when donuts are dry--I've found my donut soul mate. This was my first time trying Salty--office brought them in to celebrate January birthdays. I'm blown away! Can't wait to go to the shop in person to try more donuts and some coffee!

overall, the drinks were OK in the spot was nice. I just say customer service was mediocre.

Amazingly, we got to try them all and with all the salty, savory food we started to look for some dessert to balance out our palate. That's when we stumbled on a stand that advertised cake balls. Yup. CAKE BALLS. We were all pretty full, but still wanted to try them all. I mean, when you're presented with the choice of Snickers, Oreos, Butterfinger, Cinnamon and Sugar, [Fruity] Pebbles, or Cherry Glaze it's pretty hard to single out the best flavor. I ended up getting their 3 most popular ones: Snickers, Butterfinger and Pebbles. There's one thing that you need to know about these cake balls. They're not like any other you've tasted. Usually, cake balls are made from a mixture of cake batter with a lot of icing to keep it moist. Beckett's method is to use a donut hole as the base encased in a layer of their own special frosting with your choice of candy or cereal. It sounds simple and mundane, but I can assure you that these were some of the best cake balls I've ever had in my life. The donut base was pillowy and moist. With the super sweet frosting it melded perfectly into what seemed like a piece of heaven in every bite. The crushed candy was the icing on the cake, per say, adding different flavors and textures to each ball. I really can't explain it more than I have. It was just pure awesomeness. In an environment where pretty much everything is fried it was a welcome surprise to find a stand that served something different. I spoke with the owners and they said they were in the process of relocating their business from Tulsa, OK to Dallas. Their presence in the Big D will allow us to enjoy some of these awesome cake balls year round instead of having to wait until the State Fair runs each year. Happy dance. If you're looking for something different keep your eyes peeled for Beckett's. I'm sure you will enjoy their cake balls as much as I did.

The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience.
