To start - I like this location in the spring/fall because of the outdoors seating. The way the sun shimmers through the leaves creates a gorgeous afternoon vibe. The bathroom is clean and the self serving water is aplenty. Now for the food - Brisket kolache is great, I will always get this again. Horchata donut has a layer of cream inside which I like. It's more yeast like, which I prefer in a donut. New banana coffee donut was interesting, I really liked the crumby part outside but wish the coffee flavor stood out more. Vanilla drink with whole milk - the vanilla shots were strong and should've done oat milk instead. That would make it taste much better Overall, great experience and love the new flavors they experiment with! My thoughts - in the more yeasty-donuts, add a layer of filling inside!

I came in the middle of the day so it was pretty empty and the donuts weren't super fresh, but that's on me for the time I came. The pistachio butter latte is one of the best pistachio latte's that I've tried, wow 12/10 so good! As for the donuts, the churro was super good and I really like the cream cheese filling 8/10. The horchata donut was pretty mid, the topping overpowered the donut and is really messy to eat 5/10. I would come back for the latte alone!

I came to this place on my birthday to kick the day off with a sweet treat. The premise behind this place sounds so promising. I really appreciate novelty and creativity when it comes to something as simple as donuts. There was a lot of excitement in coming to check out this place. Upon entry, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean industrial new space I proceeded to make my way to the counter to pick up an order. I sat down with my Horchata donut and Boston cream donut. I tried the Boston cream doughnut first. It was OK. I didn't quite care for their Bavarian or their chocolate frosting. Bavarian was missing vanilla and sweetness. Chocolate flavor was muted. Because they made their Horchata donut with meringue, the sulfur smell of the egg whites was stinky. They should've gone with whipped cream, which is less stable, but more delicious with no sulfur compounds. If something doesn't smell good it won't taste good either. No Horchata flavor and not enough sweetness. It was dry too despite having meringue. It seems like they were trying to mimic a Tres leches with using meringue. What made the experience come to an abrupt unpleasant end was that there was a light brown curly hair in the Horchata donut that I had only discovered after taking one bite from the horchata donut. Of course it was gross. I'm attaching a photo of the donut with the hair in it. I reported it to the staff, and they said that they would issue a refund for the donut that had the hair in it. To think how many people handled that donut before it made its way to the dining area also feels like a lack of checks and balances. No staff member saw the donut with a hair on it -- even while boxing it in their hand --on a to go order? Not the baker. Not retail staff. No one. This is one of those things that should be preventable -- which shows there is gaps in how employees handle their hair control in the context of preparing the donuts. It absolutely sucked that their collective carelessness leaked through to the customer experience and product.

The Salty is hands down one of my favorite donut spots. The vibe is always on point, the service is friendly, and the donuts? Absolutely delicious. Every time I stop by, I leave happy--it's just that kind of place. I love the variety and how fresh everything tastes, and it feels like they put real care into what they do. This is definitely a spot I'll always come back to.

My boyfriend and I asked the front cashier about how fresh their donuts get made and she replied that they get made at 7 AM. My boyfriend loves fresh donuts (like coming out of the fryer fresh) and it was probably in the afternoon when we got there. She wasn't the nicest to us honestly after we asked that question and the interaction felt very off so we left. As we left, we heard her complain about us to her coworker and for it being unreasonable to make them fresh... I don't know it left a bad taste in my mouth, so we will likely just go try at a different location earlier in the morning. I will say it's located in a really nice part in Bishop Arts and somewhat tucked away in an alley. Super prettily decorated and clean location. I've heard lots of nice things about this local chain, but it's just the vibes from her reply and her gossiping before we even left the establishment that really got to me.

Very good donuts! I was impressed. My friend first tried the Salty Donut in Miami and has been a big fan ever since. My only regret is not trying the traditional glazed to get the experience of how their classic donut is. I got the peach cobbler donut and the mixed berry cheesecake donut. Both were great. Will be back!

The donuts are always great. Especially warmed up. The staff is always a combination and super nice and friendly to talk to. Love the experience every time and it's my kids most requested favorite donut shop in Dallas.

Such a cute place! I was on my way for a hair cut and had time to spare. I thought "oh a doughnut and a coffee would hold me over!" Then I was like "???" I thought "this is pretty pricey for a doughnut." I got to the counter and I realize one doughnut could probably feed about 4 people LOL these are CAKES made to look like a doughnut!!! Each one is topped with something amazing. Such care into one doughnut. I decided against the calories (this time) but their jalapeño sausage brioche thing was AMAZING. Not too heavy and the sausage wasn't overly salty/greasy I'll keep the size of the doughnuts in mind next time x

I had such a great experience here! The cashier/barista was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. The patio is really nice with a breeze and a relaxing vibe that makes it perfect for hanging out. I tried the cookie donut, and it was amazing. I also ordered a hojicha latte, which is similar to matcha but lighter and more earthy, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, I'm a big fan and will definitely be back!

Amazing donuts as always. Great location in bishop arts and worth a stop if you are nearby. The location has a lot of seats and highly recommend the donuts. The cheesecake one was delicious and they change their menu seasonally.

The donuts were good, but dare a say a little too thick? You'll need to have a pretty big mouth to bite into their donuts, and don't get me wrong they're good but just enough to satisfy a donut craving. I did like that they were overpoweringly sweet like some donuts can be. The chocolate cake donut was a little dry, the horchata was good, but not anything too special and didn't make sense to me because it lacked cinnamon, and the glazed donut was good for what it was... a simple glazed donut.

Worse service ever. Came in on the new year day... Ordered what was in the window and idk what they were doing.. and they said it was unavailable. Basically the two donuts that was in the window and last one left .. was gone when I was the one ordering. Then they didn't scan my loyalty card after I asked and said it was too late. Will not be coming back again even though I like this place.

A Must‑Try Donut Truck at Klyde Warren Park!…read more We stumbled upon this donut truck at Klyde Warren Park while in the area expecting a quick snack, and instead walked away having tried every single flavor they offered. Yes, every one -- and honestly, it was worth it! Each donut was fresh, and crafted with the kind of care you can actually taste. The flavors weren't just different; they were thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly creative. One of the biggest highlights was the vegan Neapolitan donut. Vegan options can be hit or miss, but this one was so good we had to double‑check it was actually vegan. It had the same rich, indulgent flavor and perfect texture as the regular donuts -- no compromise, no "good for vegan," just good, period. It was one of those rare treats that makes you rethink what vegan baking can be. If you're anywhere near Klyde Warren Park, do yourself a favor and stop by this truck. It's the kind of place that turns a simple donut run into a memorable moment -- and we'd go back in a heartbeat. My kids have already asked a few times, ha!

The other donuts I ordered were decent, but I don't think I'd purchase them again. The classic donut was okay; it was a little too cakey/bready for my liking. Although I liked the flavors of the yuzu & matcha mini, because of the smaller size, the ratio of cream/curd to donut was overpowering. Lastly, again, i liked the flavors of the pistachio cannoli, but it was too sweet and the cream was dry. Overall, I'd still go again and I'd love to try the other flavors. I love the creativity!

Amazingly, we got to try them all and with all the salty, savory food we started to look for some dessert to balance out our palate. That's when we stumbled on a stand that advertised cake balls. Yup. CAKE BALLS. We were all pretty full, but still wanted to try them all. I mean, when you're presented with the choice of Snickers, Oreos, Butterfinger, Cinnamon and Sugar, [Fruity] Pebbles, or Cherry Glaze it's pretty hard to single out the best flavor. I ended up getting their 3 most popular ones: Snickers, Butterfinger and Pebbles. There's one thing that you need to know about these cake balls. They're not like any other you've tasted. Usually, cake balls are made from a mixture of cake batter with a lot of icing to keep it moist. Beckett's method is to use a donut hole as the base encased in a layer of their own special frosting with your choice of candy or cereal. It sounds simple and mundane, but I can assure you that these were some of the best cake balls I've ever had in my life. The donut base was pillowy and moist. With the super sweet frosting it melded perfectly into what seemed like a piece of heaven in every bite. The crushed candy was the icing on the cake, per say, adding different flavors and textures to each ball. I really can't explain it more than I have. It was just pure awesomeness. In an environment where pretty much everything is fried it was a welcome surprise to find a stand that served something different. I spoke with the owners and they said they were in the process of relocating their business from Tulsa, OK to Dallas. Their presence in the Big D will allow us to enjoy some of these awesome cake balls year round instead of having to wait until the State Fair runs each year. Happy dance. If you're looking for something different keep your eyes peeled for Beckett's. I'm sure you will enjoy their cake balls as much as I did.
