Lower Greenville was the spot on a lovely Saturday afternoon. It was bright and active with lots of people shopping and actively walking around. I found parking across the street behind Botolino. Upon walking in, Milk and Cream was roomy and clean inside with a fresh sweet smell lingering about in the air. The woman behind the counter was patient as I was putting what I wanted to order together in my head. The prices and three steps for putting your order together are on the wall. You pick a donut, ice cream flavor, and then toppings. I got a plain donut, cookie butter ice cream, and sliced almonds for a topping. I have never had a donut ice cream sandwich. The donut was not sweet and more on the dryer side. It was more of a substitute for a cone and it worked. It was different but charming in its own way. The ice cream flavor was similar to biscoff with less of a ginger flavor profile. It was smooth, sweet, and flavorful. Milk & Cream is alright with me. read more

I'm sorry. The idea sounded good that's why I drove 10 miles to experience it. I will say the ice cream I tried was pretty good but it wasn't that memorable. I opted for the lavender vanilla because it was the most interesting , the taste was well balanced. I paired it with a glazed donut I didn't have a topping because honestly I wish all these pop up ice cream shops understood yes a nice photo on Instagram is great but what about taste. Adding dry cereal as a topping..who thought of this? The texture of creamy ice cream then here comes hard dry cereal cutting the roof of your mouth. Anyway back to the donut.. I'm not sure what recipe you are using but I'm sure there's a better one out there because the donut took away from the ice cream. But I do respect that this is your concept it's just not something I enjoyed. I would still buy your ice cream if I'm in the area with a craving. read more

No exaggeration- THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF SUMMER!! I was driving around looking for ice cream, after a franchise donut place tried to serve me cold donuts. I was heading across the street and noticed this place. The amount of people outside eating it should've told me how great it was but that didn't event compare to the dance my tastebuds would do! I had the glazed donut with strawberry shortcake ice cream, with a scoop of Banana Pudding on the side. I legit felt like a kid in a candy store. The Cookie Monster flavor is so good!! Tasted like cookies and cream with bits of Oreo and dough in it. One scoop with a free topping is $5! Pretty similar price and portion compared to the other ice cream options. I will say the service was so nice, they gave us a few samples of the other flavors. The cereal milk flavor had a hint of cinnamon and the lavender flavor was really artificial. The inside was small and clean- but not a place you can sit in as it is more of a to go shop. read more

I have been raving about milk & Cream and took my cousin here to try it. We were greeted immediately upon arrival. The resteraunt is so clean, small and inviting. Really cute. You have the option to just get a scoop of ice cream, or a scoop paired with a plain or glazed donut. The prices are super cheap. I got a honey lavender scoop in a glazed donut and my cousin tried the cereal milk in a glazed donut. She was blown away by the taste and enjoyed it immensely. She thought it would be too sweet but she was surprised that it was just the perfect amount of sweetness. The portion size is amazing for the price. I have been looking forward to my visit and always trying to hit them up whenever I'm in town and this visit didn't disappoint. Lower Greenville doesn't have a shortage of awesome ice cream spots and Milk & Cream is one of them. You can get either scoops, cones or a BUN which is a plain or glazed donut filled w ice cream. It's soooo good. The donut is warm so the ice cream does melt quickly so definitely not good for delivery but I don't know how you wouldn't want to immediately eat it. I decided on the Salted Carmel as my ice cream of choice and chose to top it with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I was a bit disappointed in my choice because the Salted Carmel was much saltier than I've been used to, so I wasn't able to enjoy my choice as I had envisioned in my head, but that's a me thing and not a knock on the M&C team. I imagine that during normal times you'd be able to taste test a couple flavors prior to committing to one for your order. I will also say that the donut itself didn't blow me away, BUT I can now say that I prefer a donut to cookies for by ice cream sandwich "buns."
