    Option of donuts
    Michelle A.

Went at noon and unfortunately almost everything was sold out- which clearly it's very popular and loved but it would've been nice having more options to pick from. Went with the hibiscus tea and the Boston cream- the Boston cream wasn't anything special and the hibiscus was refreshing. I recommend stopping by when exploring Tennyson street but wouldn't say this is a place to go out of your way to stop by. Hopefully next time they have more options! They have a nice patio to hangout and people watch

I am here for this donut shop! Firstly, the ambiance is perfection. It's relaxing and inviting and clean- which is more than I can say for most donut shops. I also love that they have a take out window in case you're on the move. The staff is so kind. Everyone seemed genuinely happy and helpful. Their mood truly dictates the vibe of an establishment, and I just felt happy in here. We got the chocolate donut, and the plain glazed, a regular latte, and a brown sugar chai. Everything was great! The donuts were soft, not dense which I appreciated. Neither donut was too sweet, but the chocolate one was obviously rich because my choco loving child didn't finish hers. Pro tip- don't leave them on the counter overnight in the box. Stale in the morning. Oops. 5 stars! If you're looking for something super sweet you may not rate this as high (for what I got) but I prefer this level. I didn't have a headache from the sugar afterwards which is a huge win!

It was great to visit the The Salty Donut, I've been following them online for a few years and finally got to enjoy their treats. I picked up the GF blueberry and maple as well as the brown butter and salt cake donut in addition to a lemonade. The staff was so nice, confirming if I was taking anything to go and offering to sweeten the lemonade as it could be tart (considering it's homemade and fresh). The lemonade was not overly sweet, thanks! And the GF donut was surprisingly moist which can be hard with GF item at times. I'm a big fan of a blueberry cake donut so this was a great nod to the original. The brown butter donut will have to wait! Wish I had enough space to try all the items but that just means I have to come back. I'd like to also shout out the staff was so nice and inviting which made the experience even better.

Easy to find this cute shop on Tennyson Street which I always enjoy the shops on this street. We were greeted by a smiling friendly order taker/cashier at the counter who patiently answered our questions on the unique flavors of the donuts and drinks. I ate the fresh cafe con leche donut filled with cream and drank a refreshing hibiscus-lemonade cold tea. My partner chose a warm ham and cheese croissant and drank a hot black coffee. Loved the tasteful bright decor and despite plenty of customers, it was quiet. Several tables to sit and relax. There's 2 hour street parking which is always packed due to lots of other cute shops and restaurants. Did I mention I love this street? Thanks to Matt for the flavorful treat!

The coffee tastes great and I always take it black. The croissant was warm with ham and Asiago cheese filling. The Cafe con Leche was constructed from a light buttery pastry dough with a sweet creamy filling and sugar coating. Sweet, but not overly so. The order taker/cashier was pleasant, welcoming and offered suggestions based on his tastes which proved to be spot-on. Overall a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is simple, clean and trendy. The furniture is is simple and plain. The decor is equally trendy and creative.

So excited to try this place and it did not disappoint! Nice clean shop and very friendly folks at the counter. The donuts all looked really tasty and sizable, although I was a little surprised that the amount of selection available at the time (around 1pm) was a bit limited. Not sure if that was a staffing/supply issue or if they simply sold out because the ones we did get were super tasty! We did the Pistachio Cannoli, Cafe con Leche, and the Original Glazed! All of them were perfectly sweet and flavorful without being overpowering, fantastic texture, avoided that over-oily/greasy feel, and paired super well with the drinks! We did the Pistachio Butter Latte and the Blueberry Matcha. Both were excellent, well-balanced, and delicious! Special shoutout for the Pistachio Latte, it actually tasted like a latte first with hints and bits of pistachio second! I feel like too many places go too far down pistachio lane, but Salty Donut does it well here. They have nice merch too and the shirts felt like a nice thick quality!

I'm not a sweet tooth so I was excited to try their cragel. Next time I'll probably get it untoasted though. It comes with whipped cream cheese which is a chefs kiss. The matcha latte was refreshing with oat milk. And the Boston cream won me over even as a savory gal.

Stopped in to this cute place to try out a treat and drink after work! Super busy location on Tennyson. This area has such great vibes, and I'm sure I'd stop by much more if I lived in the area! This donut shop is great, the staff here super friendly. I tried the hibiscus lemonade and it was so so good and refreshing! The salted brown butter cake donut so tasty! I'd love to come back again soon and try some other goodies. Parking is rough but worth it!

OK, I love donuts and walking up to this little shop off of 39th and Tennyson smelled so wonderful of fresh donuts and fresh coffee. They have a walk up window for orders that were placed online, which is very cool. They actually had an open window where you could actually watch them doing their magic making donuts other other specialties. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door, which I love stood in line a little bit longer than anticipated but that's OK it was worth the wait! So I ended up with one of the glazed donuts and then I purchased the French toast sticks as well. Both were super marvelous. I really enjoyed them. I will go back because it was a cute little spot very well designed and comfortable as far as seating is inside what I'd liked about this little spot also is that they sell shirts and bags with logo on it! If you're ever in the area, stop by and check them out you won't be disappointed. I wasn't.! Thanks For The Read Until Next Time....

Delicious donuts with vegan and gluten free options, along with regular and specialty coffee. Located in the heart of Tennyson, the service was friendly and perfectly located in the walkable part of town. I've been to the salty donut down in Miami in a Wynwood, so this was a nice reminder of the delicious varieties the offer. The location was clear, modern, and love their cute illustrative packaging.

Came on a Sunday night, they only had a few donuts left and most were sold out but what we tried did not disappoint at all. The service was amazing, super friendly and took the time to give wonderful recommendations. We ordered the pumpkin roll, pistachio cannoli, vegan apple crumbs and the gluten-free chocolate cup with sea salt. Every single one was delicious and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. The pistachio cannoli was hands down my favorite!! Definitely satisfied my sweet tooth and I am already looking forward to coming back during the day to try the flavors that were sold out!

I was surprise this place has been open for a year and a half already--I never noticed it until I googled a desert spot near me and this spot is open late! Walked in on a Tuesday night around 7pm they only had a few options left for desert---nice place, great seating, would love to come back to try their other deserts since they were low in the evening time.

    Pistachio cannoli donut.

Perfect dough and perfect amount of icing in each bite. What a great place. The donuts were fresh and delicious without being overwhelmingly sweet or heavy. Really great work with making the dough!

No matter when I go here (surprisingly though, this is my first time to rate this location), this place seemed to be lively or even packed with the patrons or regulars or some spontaneous guests. I thought this was the indication that it was receiving lots of "LOVE" from people like me. Whatever the previous reviewers had to rate this place mediocre or low, my experience earlier today during the busy morning hours was indeed pleasant. This location is spacious. And very colorful indeed. It's more of the wall art inside and outside that has lots of pastel colors incorporated into it where on a very gloomy day can turn into a bright(er) day especially once inside. I received a cheerful/welcoming service by two wonderful ladies upfront. The lady who took my order had a very pleasant "Hi" greeting which I received it solidly as if to say that my body was a sound board. The lady who made my triple shot latte (in an 8oz cup) made my drink so artfully and beautifully. And it tasted good. Although I wouldn't describe my experience as outstanding or splendid (as I don't like to exaggerate either), I can easily give it a solid 4-star rating based on everything I experienced.

My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

The other cocktail was a Manhattan and it was not served with an ice cube instead it was only watered down. Probably wouldn't order that again.
