Oh my God so I went in with a friend and I was like I don't eat donuts because they're fried only to find out that they don't fry their donuts. I had to go back and buy one for myself. I went in the month of March and they had a monthly doughnut that sounded amazing. It was a Boston cream. It was so probably one of the best things I've ever had. My daughter had the glazed donuts. It was excellent. This is my new favorite place plus parking is very easy on the side of the mall. read more

I visited two days in a row . I really enjoyed the coffee - I had an iced latte with skim and I loved that the coffee was not bitter at all. I tried the glazed donut and it didn't disappoint. So happy to have The Salty Donut somewhat nearby. When my fellow Yelper Sally wanted to stop here for a sweet treat, I was so excited. I had no idea there was a Salty Donut in Aventura. We tried the pistachio cannoli which was so delicious. Service was great as always and this spot is cute and smaller than other locations, but they have what matters - the donuts! First in line, first to review! As an OG fan of The Salty (I'm talking Wynwood camper days) I had to visit on opening day to the newest location in Aventura Mall. It is in the nook of the Esplande right next to Sweetgreen so not hard to find and easy to find parking. I was looking forward to getting their pop tarts (because they are so good) but was informed that they won't be selling them at this location. BUMMER!! I hope this is only temporary because it's delish! In addition to my swag bag, stickers and post card, I ordered the Cookie Monster, Cookie Butter Banana Cream and classics Maple Bacon and Guava and Cheese. The service was fast but the line grew with time of course. I gotta keep up with my workouts because with this new location being around the corner I can see myself ordering often. Haha read more

Donuts were pretty good...maybe it's psychological but the ones in Wynwood are always better! The kid serving us was totally clueless about customer service and kind of dismissive. As a salty veteran and someone who's never missed a visit when wandering through Wynwood, I was beyond thrilled to discover their adorable little sister spot at Aventura Esplanade Mall. The reason she's so itty bitty? They don't bake at this location--they're delivered fresh daily from Wynwood, so you still get that same irresistible taste you love. Personally, I'm all about their cake-style donuts--way more my vibe than the traditional fried ones. I'm a salty donut lover. Have always enjoyed the donuts and the coffee. Today we had (and loved) the guava cheese and hazelnut chocolate. We also enjoyed a plain hot latte and an iced cinnamon toast latte. But that's not what stood out to me on this trip- the staff. WOW! I really believe I was meant to meet them- they felt heaven sent with their kindness and compassion. I know this may sound all a bit dramatic for a donut shop review, but they were exceptional employees and humans- I hope their manager sees this and can trace back the 2 wonderful people who worked the shop today 9/12 around 2:15 pm because they are worthy of praise. The shop is cute but I wish there was seating. It took us a long time to find somewhere to sit with our kids and enjoy our treats. We literally walked all the way to the splash pad just to sit down and enjoy while the kids ran around. Will be back :) read more

New donut shop in the esplanade plaza next to sweet green near aventura mall. It's more of a quick pick up spot for donuts and coffee as the shop is pretty small and there is no seating inside the shop. I ordered a donut and iced cinnamon coffee which was a nice little mid afternoon treat. They've only been open a few weeks and I probably stop by at least once a week. read more

I got a box of your donuts and they did not taste good in fact they tasted like DOG POOP!! They were dry, the frosting was patchy, and there was barely anything on the doNUT. I do not recommend for a person. I bet not even a dog would want to eat this. IT TASTED LIKE THEIR SHIT. DO NOT EAT, I'M SURE THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR STOMACH TO EXPLODE THE TOLIET, THE TOLET WILL START TO WISH THAT THEY WERE NEVER MADE. I had watery shit for days, I was gassy for DAYS, and my stomach would not stop hurting. The service was slow, they didn't come on time, and I was not having it. Its a waste of money and time. They should be ashamed of their company and their food. The only good thing about this was when I got to throw their food in the trash. Even Dunkin doNUTS is better than this. Delivery services are horrible. They make you pay a delivery fee (fine), then tip on top of it, (okay whatever) and then their drivers are ridiculously late from their estimated time of arrival and food is cold. Not worth it and I won't be ordering from them again. read more

As he neared finishing, my eggs showed up. Poached attempt, but whites not cooked completely, not even hot. So disappointing. Waitress finally came back when he was done and mine were inedible. I was just so sad. The owner must've noticed because she came over and tried to make it right. Took it off the bill. Offered me donuts. I appreciated the offer but no, off the bill was fine. It was then I realized she really cared. She went above and beyond. Put together an insanely generous bag with the day's leftover bagels & a few donuts! We left with this epic haul so when I got home I made my own eggs and had it with the most delicious bagel ever! And the donuts? Amazing! It was the end of day and the griddle person was probably exhausted but I will come back, for donuts and bagels, yes, maybe even for poached eggs, but mostly just for the hospitality.
