This place is an absolute joke! No color tagged sales until (maybe) October. Their "new" location doesn't have fitting rooms!!!! Oh yeah but, you can return -clothes- in 3 days, STORE CREDIT ONLY. Prices are outrageous for donated items. This makes me so sad and just disappointed. I used to frequent this location (the old one) almost every other week. I will never be back. No dressing rooms??? It's the Salvation Army or what most call the goodwill/thrift store. It's other people's leftovers, "don't wants", some may call it trash, others call it treasures. Some people are turned off, others get excited. My daughter and I went tonight to try and find some flannel shirts. I'm not scared of the thrift stores. Some are better than others. Some are great and some are just down right yuck. This one was ok. It's funny to me the way everything is color organized. All the green shirts together, then blue, then purple. Same with housewares. All the red items together on a shelf, then orange, then yellow. Plenty of underwear. What!? Who buys used underwear!? I never understood that!? You'd think k after Covid, that would be against the law. But I guess it's no different than being able to purchase sheets and blanket here. We didn't find any flannel shirts but we did find a brand new pair of Vans shoes for only $14.99, too bad they weren't the right size. It was organized and as clean as a Salvation Army can be. Fitting rooms to try on items, to make sure they fit before you make a purchase. We actually heard a women squeal in excitement over a pair of jeans that fit. They must have been a name brand pair of jeans she was getting for a steal. It made my daughter and I giggle. We found a giant Snoopy Pez dispenser, still in the box, unopened for $4.99. We bought it for a church friend who's the #1 Snoopy Fan in the country. (Yes- that's a thing!) The candy expired back in 1997, but as a collector, I'm not worried about him trying to eat it. Scott was our cashier and he was cool. I asked if I could use a credit card (I never carry cash) and he said yes, but no American Express. It's a thrift store. You like them or you don't. Maybe you'll find your treasure. Heck, this Snoopy Pez could be worth some dough and I don't even know it! read more

I want to give a 5 star as to not negatively impact this store - but PLEASE STOP writing on the leather bottoms of shoes, specifically women's heels. You are ruining the bottoms of shoes because the marker/pen will destroy the leather bottoms. I know this is to counter theft - but when you ruin the bottoms of the shoes it is not worth it. I really like this Salvation Army location better than the one on Hall Rd. It is much bigger and has a greater selection of clothing. We found a lot more for men. The selection at Hall is tiny in comparison. This location had racks and racks and racks filled with clothing. My boyfriend was able to find 5 new looking dress shirts for work for only $5!! They weren't out of style or stained. He also find a really nice pair of pants for only $6! What a steal! It isn't too crowded here. They have a lot of employees that repeatedly walk around and put clothing back or organize them. They also constantly pick stuff up that fell on the floor. When the fitting room line shortened up and there was a few openings, an employee walked in two of them and emptied them out, putting them on her rack to put away on the floor. I love how clean they try to keep it. It can be very chaotic on fridays and saturdays because of the 5 for $5 sale on the tag of the day. read more

They should rename this store Rip-Off City. If I wanted to pay a lot for second hand items, I would go to a boutique. You are the Salvation Army and supposed to help the POOR, yet you charge 29 dollars for a jacket. Seriously? I don't care if it is name brand, it's 20 years old! The workers who price this stuff are on drugs. This store operates more like a company than a non-profit organization. I love this place. It's easy to get to off M53 and the people there are nice as heck when you have a question. They have babies, women's and men's clothing. It all depends on what is donated of course but the selection that they have here is pretty good. They do actually have prices that are just a bit above the national average but you still can't beat most of the offers that they have. If I can get a pair of name brand jeans in great shape for $6.00 (rather than say $25 at the store) then that's deal I can live with. They do have some ski jackets and leather coats with higher prices but that's normal in my book. Your still gonna get a heck of a deal on them. They also have a small amount of used furniture as well. All the time they have people sweeping, mopping and returning items to the proper shelf. They won't bother you unless you have a question or something to which they are prompt and help you right out. Some of their selection is not that great but remember it's all in what gets donated to them. Overall this is my favorite thrift store to go to. read more

This is a very nice Salvation Army. Some things are priced a little higher, but that is the case at any thrift store. The profits are going to worthy causes, so who cares if you're paying more than a yard sale price for some items. They always have specials, like 5 of the same color tags for $1 each, in quantities of 5, or a half off color of the day. They even do 50% off sales of all clothes every now and then. They have a 25% off for seniors day, a military and first responders day etc. Overall, you can find some nice buys. I got my son a size 7 Gap parka brand-new with tags on for $8. So, like any other second hand place, finds are hit and miss. If you knew exactly what you wanted and didn't want to have to search for the good deals, then I'd recommend shopping at a department store. Otherwise, if you like to find fairly priced, gently used or even new items, this is the go to Salvation Army! The staff is very nice as well, makes for a good shopping experience. Lastly, don't forget to ask for a punch/stamp card to get even more savings. read more
