I typically buy my balloons from Kroger but they last maybe 1-4 hours and instead this time I got them from Debby Dollar. I actually came 2 days in a row (to blow up more balloons because I was so impressed) its been about 5 days and they still look AMAZING and floating like they look just got them blown up & not to mention all the workers are so sweet and were able to fill them up right when I came in! I'm pretty sure I wrote a review before, and I come here a few times a month now. I used to come all the time because it was my family's dollar store. I love the way they treat their customers like family. It looks like they are currently removing items from shelves and putting new stuff. I also saw two ladies stocking shelves. There was quite a bit of empty areas in the toys, but they might be trying to get rid of stuff to make room for new stock. I noticed they moved a lot of stuff around. They have kinds of stuff like jewelry, gift bags, wrapping paper, cards, party stuff, paper plates/napkins/cups, lots and lots of scrapbooking items, household items, books, toys, candy, craft items, school supplies, holiday items, and much more. I really want to come back and explore the craft items. They have lots of different types of paint and paintbrushes. I saw a few canvases. I'm interested in a fun craft activity. read more

Not sure why anyone would give this place a bad review, it has great greeting cards that don't look 'dollar-store-ish', hardcover children's books, and foster grant sunglasses! I don't live anywhere close to this store, but might make it a point to visit there when the usual $ Stores don't have what I'm looking for. They have awesome baby stuff and spices. I like their plates, napkins, wrapping paper, and gift bags as well. Everything is $1 expect the balloons are $2.50 and go up to $8. I definitely plan on preordering some balloons for my marine's welcome home party. read more

Hands down THE best dollar stores I've ever been into. Well, dollar twenty-five store, that is, these days. Yes, just like the Dollar Tree, Debby's Dollar is now $1.25 per item, unless marked. I LOVE this store. They aren't your typical corporate store. It's a single store ran by super amazing ladies! Literally- the ladies that work here are just so damn sweet and nice. They carry your typical dollar store item but so much more. You see, they carry tons of name brand items too. I've seen clothing and toys from Target here, decoration and home goods from Pier One Imports and organic and healthy snacks. Some of the organic snacks and name brand food items are upwards of over $5 at my local Kroger's. They sell helium ballon but not just they typically Mylar ones- they have the giant ones too!! Ones that I've seen for $20 other places are a fraction of the price here. They sell those number varieties too, so you can get them with the birthday persons age. The paper products are a great pick- lots of options for your party needs. Again, yes it's your typical dollar store PLUS so much more. Merchandise changes daily, so what they have one day might be gone by the next. I learned my lesson with that. If I find something that I really like I just stock up and buy multiples. I hate to miss out on a great deal! Debbie's dollar is an amazing dollar store and I definitely highly recommend it! I stop in often to check out the rotating merchandise. For everyone whining about them requiring putting a mask on babies should have their heads examined. Drove 35 minutes to check out this store only to be kicked out because my INFANT son didn't have a mask. First of all, what baby do you know that will keep a mask on? Second, the cdc specifically says NOT to mask anyone under the age of 2 for health reasons. I literally was in shock! I have let all my friends and family know NOT to even bother going here to a store who sacrifices the safety of infants over compliance! I have a 1 year old and was told could not go in unless he was wearing a mask. Completely unrealistic demand for a toddler. I will never shop there again. Staff was completely rude to me as I was running in for a few things and had no choice but to bring my kids. A lady stopped me at the door and told me I had to leave because my baby didn't have a mask. I used to be a regular customer, but I will never again support this local business. They are requiring babies to have blanket over their head to enter the store! I was told that this is "just an inconvenience". When I responded saying it's not an inconvenience, it's downright dangerous, their response was "thanks for your opinion." It's a well known fact that you aren't supposed to cover a baby's face with a blanket. I cannot support a business putting babies' lives at risk. I love this dollar store. It has such unique items well worth over the $1 they charge for them. They recently implemented a weird policy about children under 2. They do not go by the CDCs recommendation and instead ask that children under two be covered with a blanket. There is no one year old I know (especially mine) who will sit in a stroller with a blanket over it. It prevents air flow to the child as well. Not sure why this is the only store in the area who require this and don't go by CDC guidelines. read more

Went in there to get one single gift bag for my son's birthday, I also had by 16 month old in tow in the stroller. I had my mask on but as the law states, she did not have a mask on. I was asked by Debby herself If I had a mask for my daughter and since I didn't, I was told to cover her up completely. Guess what Debby, you don't even know the science behind these stupid cotton masks and also when you put a mask on A 2 year old and younger that it affects their breathing significantly. It appears that you have also ticked off several other moms that can't even run a simple errand anymore without being attacked. I'm not sure you had to raise your children during such an audacious time. And guess what else, I told 7 of my closet Washington neighbors and they won't be returning.
