    German chocolate ice cream
    Jay M.

Stop in for first time Ordered a cup small to mid size German chocolate cake Was 6.00 and was about a pint of ice cream... wow Small was all I needed. Excellent ice cream, value and excellent variety of unusual flavors who won't see at other ice cream shops...

Came by here on a random weekday to find business slow but a few more patrons did come in after our group. I got to try a few of their options, the names escape me but they tasted pretty good! Staff were friendly and there is a lot to pick from. Establishment is relatively clean so I wouldn't mind coming again!

I could never recommend the blackberry chocolate cookie flavor more. It is DELICIOUS and actually makes my mouth drool thinking about it. It pairs beautifully with hot fudge. However, I did get the whip cream and I was not too much of a fan for it. It is a bit different and not my cup of tea.... but that does NOT deter me from coming back for this wonderful flavor. Thinking I'll go back for round two tonight!

I did the skippy da do dae ! It was fire, they had one of the best brownies ive ever had, althought i wished it tasted more peanut butter instead of cookies and cream. My friend tried one with canollies and it was also fire. Overall pretty good sundays, pricey but worth it. The service was quick and pretty straightforward. The ambience was a little run down but it was ok just to grab and go

I didn't think that I would find the best ice cream ever in Boston of all places. We ordered the Tasty (standard size) and were stunned by the size. Both were full to the top of the to-go lid with absolute deliciousness. Every ingredient tasted high quality. The menu is slightly overwhelming but I don't think you could go wrong with any choice. The staff quickly got my to-go order ready and kept it cold until I arrived. Will definitely be coming back!

    HAVANA BANANA (YO)

Got the smallest size of Havana banana. Almost $9. Kind of expensive. It's very messy to eat. The banana, Nutella and crumbs keep falling down. The fro yo has a lot of chocolate chips. I like anything above the fro yo though. They have way too many options in their menu and it's hard to choose.

Overall: 9.25 Taste: 10/10 - I got the four horsemen and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. Every bite tasted a bit different with all the different toppings and the richness of each ingredient. If you like strong flavors this is definitely the place for you. Price: 9/10 - The prices were reasonable for the amount of ice cream you'd get in each. They do throw you off a bit labeling their tiny as a pretty big cup that is plenty for a single person. Service: 9/10 - The staff were overall friendly and they all looked like college students who relatively enjoyed their job Ambiance: 9/10 - There was quite a bit of seating for an ice cream shop but was a little bit inconvenient that they don't have a usable bathroom for customers

It's all about the sundaes here. They take mix-ins and toppings to a whole new level (check out their website, it's bananas--literally & figuratively)! The trade-off with that, is that the ice cream itself is less varied, less nuanced, as it can't compete too much with the loads of stuff thrown in there (so lots of vanilla here)! It's definitely a fun experience, and the kids loved it, so even though the sundaes are $10 each, it's a great experience. We got 2 sundaes, regular size, each one easily fed two of us. Lauren & I shared the SKIPPY da do da Dae: Peanut butter oreo ice cream with a peanut butter filling topped with brownies, fudge, and chocolate flakes. The base is decent, although I wanted more of the taste the Oreo. The brownie chunks are very fudgey, good stuff, although too large and at times it was a bit too much brownie. The peanut butter filling though, was terrible, I don't know what happened, maybe it was old, it tasted off. Luckily, there wasn't much of it, sadly if it had been good it would have really taken this sundae over the top. out of five cones. Best paired with at least one friend and Cappadonna - Milk The Cow. The kids got The Garland: Campfire s'mores ice cream topped with marshmallow fluff, frosted rice crispy treats, doughy sugar cookie bites, fudge, graham crackers, and whipped cream. I LOVE s'mores, but I find that ice cream s'mores can't compete, it's just not the same without the fire melted goodness of warm marshmallows with burnt edges. This base, however, was pretty good, and I loved it with a graham cracker, some of the marshmallow fluff and fudge (and I think I got some rice crispy treats, a genius addition). I only sampled this one, but in later bites I got some of the sugar cookies (very cookie doughy), and oh my, SUGAR is an understatement, there were some bites that felt like eating a spoonful of pure sugar, too much sugar. I'd trade the sugar cookies for more rice crispy treats, but otherwise this was pretty good, and a half cones out of five. Best paired with a good tooth brushing and Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me.

    milkshake

Milkshakes are probably the easiest markup at an icecream store, but the idea of an $8 dollar milkshake the size of a small iced coffee has to be the most appalling thing i've ever seen. Not to mention they give a straw that is double the size of the milkshake, almost to taunt you of the actual size it should be!

However being in…read morethe suburbs of Boston, it gave me the opportunity to try other cuisines, and I was excited to see this authentic Turkish restaurant not far from my hotel. Ironically, I found this place when I was looking up ice cream. They serve authentic Turkish ice cream, and it's been something I've been wanting to try. In addition to the ice cream, I ordered Manti (Turkish dumplings) and Uludag soda (which they say is a Turkish ginger ale). I loooooooooved the Manti. While the dumplings were filled with meat, the dish overall felt light since each dumpling is like the size of a quarter. The dumplings had a nice chew, and the sauces made the dish rich yet creamy. The Uludag soda was definitely much lighter than a ginger ale. Tasted like a light citrusy drink, and it's less sweet than American sodas. The ice cream had a nice pull and chew, although it didn't look as stretchy as Turkish ice creams I've seen. Nice amount of pistachio flavor throughout. I came on a weekday lunch, so there was ample seating inside. Ordering is done via a QR code on your table or on a tablet stand in the middle of the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly, making it a great experience overall.

My friend and I ordered three dishes that were absolutely filling and flavorful. The standout favorite was the moussaka which was beef, eggplant, and tomato sauce. It came with soft and pillowy pita bread that soaked up all of the goodness. Another highlight was the Manti which are Turkish dumplings. The Manti were bite sized dumplings topped with a garlicky yogurt sauce. It was comfort in a bowl! My friend and I were completely satisfied by our experience with the variety of food that Dolma had to offer. There was street parking outside. Dolma had plenty of indoor seating and they offer outdoor seating (unheated).

In case all of the other reviews aren't enough to sway you: many things are sold out, you will have no idea as to when your delivery will actually show up, and even when it does you may find your food with an expiration date of the day you ordered. If the shelf life of something is a good 7-8 months (crackers), why deliver food that has been sitting in your warehouse all year??? Have you started walking???

Quick and Correct - All 17 items were correct. My first order went so well that I may have set unreal expectations. I've ordered their service 3 times so far and overall I'm very happy and will most likely continue to use........but let me put that in context, I say most likely b/c some of their items have great prices (when on sale) making it well worth the $2 Delivery Charge Plus Tip (I'll get into that shortly), typically it looks like this is the vaporizers/grinders/lighters/etc you get the idea (although this could be more of competitors have ridiculously high prices than GoPuff itself but regardless still very cool Of them not to gouge customers like all others), otherwise their prices are typical maybe a little better than normal plus you have the ease of delivery until 4:20AM (seems ideal for someone in college or a recent grad). The only issue for me was one experience when the driver came with no change (in an attempt to receive a larger tip???), 2 incorrect products (both were the right thing just the wrong flavor), one of which I was notified of and given the option to not take (before I even noticed which is great!) and another that was just incorrect but I did order 23 items so by no means the end of the world. I guess this is part of a larger issue where GoPuff itself charges $1.95 for Delivery & they provide a spot for Tip when ordering (great for CC payers), nice and simple!!!.....the issue I have is feeling as though the deliver drivers were looking for an additional tip or they were unaware of tips provided when paid OR maybe this is just me???
