    Front screen door.

As we continue to update the house, we wanted to add a screen door at the front. Allow for air flow, nice design and give the dogs the opportunity to look out the front. Asked the neighbors for recommendations and they said try The Screen Doctor. Called them up, Evan answered and off we went. They came over, provided options, and install they did. Looks amazing and really adds a nice touch to the front door. Definitely recommend them, and customer service is top notch.

    My son's new screen door!

If you need new screens or a new screen door, I highly recommend The Screen Doctor! This is a great family business in Murrieta and I can only tell you how I am always happy and pleased with their workmanship, their attitudes and their products and prices! Please consider this company if you consider these attributes significant in your life! I have used them multiple times over the last 20 years and have always been happily satisfied!

Amazing service! I can see why they're 3 weeks booked out when I called them... their team came over right on time, fixed what was needed and more and were very professional. I originally thought I would maybe need a new door for $250 - $300 but they were honest and just said I needed a few adjustments and some wheels... luckily, they were also able to repair the broken screen my son had ripped 2 days prior. Literally in and out in 30 minutes!

My screen door for my slider was replaced about two years ago. It was a very poorly made door and very frustrated that it only lasted a short time before giving me problems. Went for a search on Yelp and found the Screen Doctor. Great reviews and returned my call within an hour. Got an appt set up for a couple days later. Kirby and his son showed up and after discussing options they took measurements and went to work. They fabricated a nice and I'm going to say heavy duty screen door. They use 2.5 inch framing. My old door was a 2 inch frame. My new screen door slides back and forth with ease now. No more struggling to go back and forth. Very nice job and quite happy. I definitely reccomend the Screen Doctor

Throughout the process, we felt pressured to proceed with the maximum financing available. We also did not receive a detailed cost breakdown from Ben and had to ask to speak to someone else. He told us many times "sorry, this is good as I can do, it's a bundle deal", which made us uncomfortable feeling like he was hiding prices from us. After obtaining additional estimates from other contractors, we were advised that several of the smaller handyman-type items included in the proposal appeared to be significantly overpriced. As a result, we requested that those items be removed from the scope of work. However, despite removing multiple services, the overall project cost remained essentially unchanged, which further raised concerns. We ultimately decided to limit the project to repairing our shower pan leak. At that point, Nathan informed that the company could no longer do business with us. Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the focus was more on maximizing the project value than on addressing our actual needs as customers. We value transparency, clear communication, and flexibility when making significant home improvement decisions, and our experience did not reflect those expectations.

Front start to finish, Mike Gast and Juan Navarro worked with me to translate my vision into the bright open studio I have been dreaming of... As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I can highly recommend Mastercraft and hope to use them in the near future for several other home improvement projects. The company stated that the waterproofing work was completed and documented. However, after that response was posted, new leaks continued to appear, including leaks in areas that had never leaked before. Additional damage occurred to my home, including hardwood flooring and interior finishes. The company also stated that it does not reinstall unsafe components. Yet I personally documented damaged and broken pillars being reused, and multiple workers told me they had objected to reusing them. Most importantly, the company has since involved its insurance carrier regarding the conditions and damages at my property. Their insurance consultant inspected my home on March 18, 2026. If the work was completed properly and there were no issues related to the project, I find it difficult to understand why an insurance claim was necessary in the first place. Since then, I have been repeatedly told to wait for the insurance process. Months have passed, no meaningful testing has been performed to determine the source of the continuing leaks, no repair plan has been provided, no leaking doors have been repaired or replaced, and the missing railings and pillars remain uninstalled. The most frustrating part is that my home is still left looking like an unfinished construction site while the company points to an ongoing insurance review as the reason for delay. I do not believe a homeowner should be expected to live with continuing damage and an incomplete project indefinitely while waiting for an insurance determination. I genuinely hoped this matter would be resolved after meetings with the company's ownership and licensing representative. Unfortunately, despite promises that things would move forward, very little has actually happened. I will continue to update this review as events unfold so that potential customers can make an informed decision.
