Don't! Turn around,…read morego to the grocery store, get yourself a cooked salmon and a bag of lettuce. You'll save ten bucks. 1. I had to finish my salad with a leftover egg I had in the fridge. 2. I had to add my own dressing. 3. Tail end of the fish which makes an improperly cooked fish even drier. Conclusion: Extremely stingy portions. Both Protein & Dressing. (SEE PIC.) Ok..... I had the Salmon Salad. The size of the salmon I would say was comical if I hadn't paid $19 for it. It was so overcooked and so thin that technically It could've been Salmon Jerky. The Salad itself, which was a combination of cabbage, shredded lettuce, cranberries and edamame with a tiny sliver of a small avocado cut in half on the side. lol. I mean honestly I can't take this review seriously. It was as if a 7 year old made me their first salad. Again, perhaps cute if It hadn't cost me $19. Service? Not great. Not terrible. They took my money and gave me my food. That pretty much sums it up at this Fish Market on Wednesday, April 8 2026 @ around 12 noon.

It's a fish market / mini take out seafood counter. A friendly young lady was there making the lunch specials right in front of you. My girlfriend introduced me to this place. She work around the corner. I meet her for lunch. We both got the seafood bowl with rice also can get with quinoa. Fresh fish and veggies. For $13 is was a deal. We took our food and walked down the beach and had our lunch. The fish was cook to order. We waited about 5 maybe 10 minutes. If you're in a rush my gf says you can call ahead and just pick it up. The rice bowl was yummy, had corn, avocado, onions, tomatoes, so on and topped with a spicy mayo sauce. Overall, I was impressed. I will be back.

If you're boycotting the grocery chains,…read morethis fishmonger nicely rounds out the other independent stores next door which include a butcher, baker, and green grocer. When we ambled in here one Saturday afternoon looking for some tuna, we found it a little difficult to get service. There weren't many customers but our questions were met with short answers. Then when we asked about holiday hours, we were told they were on the door. They were: but on a small piece of paper and tricky to spot. We felt like we'd insulted the clerk by asking her about them. We ended up buying our tuna down at Granville Island. The tuna here looked fresher, though. Next time I expect we will buy out tuna and other fresh fish here, but we'll be sure to wear our armor against the icy looks from staff.

Fresh mini scallops, squid, prawns, and mussels. He let us choose how much of each and was patient when we kept changing our minds. Apart from fresh, raw, seafood they also have frozen and premade dishes, sauces and other kitchenware you could need when cooking or eating seafood. Prices were a lot more reasonable than I expected.! What could be intimidating was a lovely experience! I'd go back here again for sure.

It's a great way to help the fishermen cut out the middlemen and maximize their profit. I find the prices less expensive than grocery stores. Cash only; nearest bank machine is on Granville Island. It's located at the north end of First Avenue where it meets the south shore of False Creek, near Granville Island. There's also the fun factor: make it a part of a seawall walk & stop at Granville Island Market along the way for your other dinner fixings.

We've had several of the products from here as recently as two weeks ago when we walked down there for an adventure to pick up some shrimp and some jerked salmon jerky. Yes that's right, Jerked Salmon Jerky. YUM. We ate the entire package in one afternoon. The shrimp comes frozen in a bed of ice and needs some time to thaw. But once it is thawed, it's great quality and wonderful in any seafood dish or simply as part of a shrimp cocktail with seafood sauce. This is how we enjoyed our last batch of shrimp. Also available is salmon and assorted white fish. If you enjoy fish and/or seafood it is worth visiting the docks and getting something local.

Our Yelp search led us to 1 Fish 2 Fish and now we order our Lobsters with them ever since. We eat Lobster 3 to 4 times a year for celebrations and have never been disappointed with the quality. I can guarantee you I clean them better then they would (only because I spend more time on them) and to cut them I prefer larger pieces for baking so that isn't a big deal. But it takes time to clean up the mess (not that bad) So I thought I'll get them from 1fish2fish. But when I seen they want 18.00 a pound I said no way. I can buy sockeye for 10.00 per lb. So they are saying they want 8.00 a lb for cutting and wrapping? Not from me they are getting this price. You know if you would have not got so greedy with your prices you would have alot more business. Or maybe you are and the people that are paying this price have too much money in there wallets :) Sorry to say until your prices come down I will not be a customer. I gave you are 2 star only because you product is good :) So if you don't mind the prices then go for it!
