The online ordering process is pretty complex, lol. First you place the order, then you get notified about whether or not your order was accepted. When you're denied, it's probably because they're sold out of the dish. If you're denied, you have to restart the online ordering process. The website doesn't update about what things are sold out. In the event that you're lucky and you get what you want, they call you to confirm. In turn, you send your money via cashapp or some other app that they accept payment from. I ended up getting an oyster po' boy and the "sock it to me" rice. Not my first choices but whatevs. The po' boy was fire, but it did have a lotttt of bread. I ended up not eating all the bread. The rice was ok. Something was off with the seasoning and the shrimp. Needed more seasoning, shrimp were over-cooked. The shrimp were actually really good, but the flounder lacked seasoning, and the overall plate temperature was lukewarm as well. While the food didn't completely wow us this visit, the service and atmosphere were pleasant enough that I'd still come back to try different menu items in the future. My hubby said he liked his boudin burger too, even though he didn't know what boudin was. He got on the idea of a little salt, pepper and hot sauce with me. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp along with the Fried Shrimp Po' Boy platter and Hush Puppies. The Bang Bang Shrimp sauce was different from what we had tasted before, but it was good. I was looking for a sweeter taste but again, it still had a great taste. It came on a bed of lettuce. The Shrimp Po' Boy platter came with French Fries. The fries were crunchy and delicious! Matter of fact, they were perfect:) The Shrimp Po' Boy was good and simple. It didn't have a lot of stuff on it, which was cool for me. Again, the sauce was okay but the shrimp and fixings were delightful. These Hush puppies are always good, so no complaints there. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. This is a place I recommend.
