We're glad we tried it! Probably not somewhere we will go back to for a few months while the keep ironing things out. 2 top, Saturday, 5pm seating at the table across from the ice machine room. Honestly, great table. Romantic, calm, quiet. We were unfortunately here for 1 hour and 53 minutes - for 2 drinks, an app and dinner (a burger and soup/salad). Drinks - awesome. Unique and fun. We never had our water refilled which was gone in the first 10 minutes. Now there is something about their computer system being funky but honestly, the manager, while frustrated and unbeatably, wasn't being super kind to the runners/bussers which I don't fully love. My burger came out cold, fries super hot. My partner got his salad but not his soup. We asked for it, and it came out cold, and tasking like oregano Mariana (eek it was French onion...) Of course as our meal started to go downhill, both the manager and our server were MIA except when the check came. Props to the busser with the bleach blonde hair who was trying his best to be a fully server. Bummer for the service, bummer for the food. But will give it another shot in a month or two - hopefully the next review will be better! At least places are trying to pop up in Brunswick in niche spots. read more

So the drinks were good- sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a burger. Burger was good except it was supposed to have blue cheese on it and had hardly any! Then when I paid in cash the bartender did not give me ANY change so basically gave herself a 35% tip. Not cool. Probably won't go back. read more

Nice place. Visited with family for some drinks. One we found the entrance, we asked if we could join our group. We were taken to our group and our waitress quickly took our drink requests. Shortly after, the drinks were delivered. There were lots of draft beer options and crafted cocktails. Service was fast and friendly. We'll be back again. read more

We gave this place a honest second try. The drinks were good but maybe just above the price point and better than our first experience. However the food completely missed the mark. Pork belly was not completely cooked and drenched in the sweet chili sauce that tasted like the sauce I keep on my table at home. My fish tasted of frozen water and dull no flavor. Let me start by saying the food was phenomenal and the pricing is on point. Service was not as great as the food. First impression when you go into a restaurant is the first person you see the hostess was dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt. I would think that they would dress a little bit nicer. The server never came back to ask how our food was. Never came back to ask if we wanted another drink. I do understand the restaurant's new so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I've been waiting to write this review to give this place a chance to respond to my husbands email and Facebook message but it's already been about a week since that so here we are! Four of us went Friday for drinks and dinner. Arrived at 5pm. Took a while to be greeted by our server but we understood this is a new place. Ordered drinks and an app around 520 finally which took a while to arrive. They were good actually so that's a plus. 20- 30 more min go by before we see our server. We flag him down to order dinner. We ordered burgers and chicken around 545 and another round of drinks. I ordered a dirty martini which was so dark as it arrived I didn't even think it was mine. I found it was literally just brine. Disgusting but I said nothing. 630pm rolls around, server is no where to be found and food has not yet arrived. At 650 ish we finally flag him down and he says immediately "ya I know I already complained to the kitchen you should see what I'm dealing with" Food arrives shortly after and is completely cold and dry like it was forgotten about. We immediately ask for the manager who comes to the table and apologizes and is surprised to hear we've been there for 2 hours. She blames her system acting up and offers to box up our food. We decline politely and ask for the check. She says she will be right back. 20 min go by and no one returns to the table. We debate leaving but don't want to get in trouble for not paying for some of the meal. At 730 my husband finally gets the server to cash us out which cost 150$ between the 4 of us for just the drinks and apps... no sign of the manager for an apology. As I said we tried to reach out again to give them a chance to apologize but nothing :( read more

Tammy and her team are fabulous! We will definitely be coming back soon. Big Sky CLE (the live entertainment last night) are so very talented! I had the filet, and friends had the burger and Eggplant Stack. Portions are enormous and so reasonable priced too. Both food and drink presentations are artful and DELICIOUS. Menu descriptions are craft-fully worded and a delight to read. This all adds to making The Secret a very special place. read more

Waited an Hour & 1/2 to get seated for 5 people, while several 2 tops (that came after us) were seated ahead of us - clearly those tables could have been combined to accommodate 5 people. Every time someone asked the hostess how long it would be, she would only say "it's going to be quite a while". In the end, we were sat at a 4 top with an extra chair on the end. The appetizers came quick, but the entrees took over 35 minutes. We had to ask for the bread & butter that was included only to have them bring 4 tiny slices - again, there was 5 of us. All of our entrees were room temperature, or actually cold. 3 out of the 5 were sent back. I had the "1/2 lb burger" which came out smaller than the bun, and completely charred. We never once got an apology. From the time we put our name in with the hostess (5:45), to when we actually got up to leave, it was over 3 & 1/2 hours. Will never go back. read more
