My friends and I had SO much fun here! The first time I went to the Arlington location, we went to do the rage room for my birthday, and we had purchased a Groupon. They offer you a few boxes full of glass containers (mostly empty beer and wine bottles, some mugs, some plates) and they give you protective jumpsuits, helmets with face shields, gloves, and goggles. However, they don't have any boots, so make sure to either bring your own boots or wear sneakers with thick soles so that the glass pieces don't stab through! We got 20 minutes in the room and got to choose from a variety of weapons including bats, wrenches, and hammers. It was so fun and they even offered additional items for purchase including keyboards, old TVs, monitors, etc. Halfway through our time, I started getting pretty tired and hot, so I think that 20 minutes is plenty of time. As a bonus, they also let you bring your own breakables! The second time my friends and I went, we did a back to back escape room followed by the rage room. We did the Area 51 escape room, and it was SO fun. Secret Chambers definitely did an amazing job integrating technology into their clues! And we also loved how their escape rooms come with interactive hosts. read more

Had a group of three for the Rage Rooms, we had a blast. The staff was incredibly friendly, we will probably be back. The "probably" is the same reason they hot 4 instead of 5 stars. This is expensive! Groupon discount is $40 per person, and you get 20 minutes... this seems crazy high, especially when we ran out of stuff to break 1/2 way through. They tell you when making a reservation people usually only use 10 minutes, and I can see why... they are out of stuff! If you want additional items, you have to pay extra. We did ask afterward if we are allowed to bring more stuff in, and we're told yes. (Had we known this, we would have brought it this time around.) just seems a bit strap for an average of 10 minutes of fun for a discounted price of $40 read more

They were very welcoming greeting us with smiles and on time for our scheduled group. The host gave us clear instructions to assure our safety and helped to assure we followed the rules. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE ARLINGTON, TX LOCATION. Came here on a Groupon with a friend. We had to reschedule once but they were easy to work with. Groupon came with an upgrade to the premium weapons package and I would HIGHLY recommend doing that. The regular package is just heavy rubber mallets. The premium package gets you many more options (large heavy plastic sword, golf club, baseball bat, and - my personal favorite - an industrial wrench, and a few others). Each person gets a box of breakables which might include plates, Christmas ornaments, wine bottles, large jars, etc. There are also upgrade items for an additional fee. 2 shelves in the room are $10 each and you get all items on the shelf - larger jars, bottles, vases, etc. Even larger items like TVs or monitors are available if you ask for up to $20 each. I think you can also bring your own items if you want. Our host, Kirby, was super helpful. She explained all of the rules and helped us suit up in all the safety gear (jumpsuit, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask, & hard hat w/a visor - with optional attached ear protection). I would recommend a high neck shirt as well. The first smash, a clever chunk of glass found the small opening at the neck of my friend's jumpsuit & into her shirt. Kirby was nice enough to stop the timer to let her fish it out but I think it freaked her (my friend) out a little right at the jump. Your host watches you from a tv bank right outside the room & will offer suggestions through your time (don't forget about X, you could try Y, etc). The 20 minute time limit is about right. Not too long but long enough that you're probably going to want/need the upgrade shelves (like we did). Now, here's where I offer suggestions for improvement or words of thought for the public. 1. The room is smaller than we expected. I wouldn't go with more than 1 person. If someone is tall with long arms, look out. 2. The smash wall ends up bouncing more items than it smashes so you're better off aiming at the floor or swinging at things off the pedestal in the center of the room. 3. Your personal belongings are outside the room under the watch of your host. We weren't worried but it might be nice if they offered a locker instead. That said, would I do this again? DEFINITELY. Who knew that smashing a wine bottle with an industrial wrench would feel SO satisfying?!?! read more

Was excited to try and rage room for the first time and only did because my daughter was begging to do one. Arrived 15 mins early since your time starts promptly at your booking time. Was given a suit, hard hat, and instructions on raging. Certain tools were included but some of the bigger ones, were an additional $10. There is a box of items you can break and there additional items you can break as well, again, for an additional $10. We had a blast, we paid additional for the tools and items and I have no complaints. We had music playing while we were raging and it was a fun vibe. Great rage experience, we loved it. Only complaint was it was rather warm in the room. We paid an additional $9 to do the arcade. After a few mins in the arcade, we thought the games were blah, it was very small after a huge crowd arrived, and it was still very warm in the place so we left. That wasn't worth the extra $18 but def recommended the rage room. read more

I've been to the Arlington location twice and this was our first time trying the Fort Worth location. I must say, Secret Chamber ruins all other escape room. In both locations, the attention to details in the rooms is amazing. We did the Witch's tower and it was the most beautiful escape room I've ever walked into. The Secret Chambers Escape Room provides excellent escape room experiences. From the customer service provided when my friends and I first arrived to the excellent setup of the room, this place leaves you feeling challenged. For today, my friends and I tried the mafia room. For each room, you are given an hour to solve all the puzzles. The customer service at the front desk is excellent, and their staff guides you filling out waivers and providing the rules for solving each room. When first arriving at the room, the woman who greeted us played her role well. The mafia room is rated one of the hardest escape rooms, and if you choose to participate in the mafia room, you will definitely feel challenged. At the end, they take your picture; prints for sale. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking to try an escape room. I would definitely come here again! read more

Hit the first snag here tonight at the Arlington location. The Area 51 room was terrible. Puzzles were tedious and didn't tie together. We struggled to make sense of anything and ended up standing around quite a bit. I've done around 100 rooms, and have never had stand around wondering what to do before. With all the standing around wondering, we were not able to complete the room. And this was the first time EVER that the game master didn't show us the ending when we didn't complete it. I would give Area 51 1 star, but since Poe was fun I'll leave it at 3. read more
