The Escape Game has about 5 different escape rooms. I went with a group of co-workers so we split into two rooms. We did Prison Break and Only Murders In The Building. These rooms are not the easiest to get through. You get one hour to break out and although we came close we could not figure out all of the clues before our time was up. This is great for team collaboration/team building. The team comes together to solve the clues to unlock the padlocks, door and windows. Without each other you won't get far. The best part is everyone had a lot of fun! The staff was really helpful and patient with our large group. You have the opportunity to buzz in for clues if you get stuck. We did this twice and the staff responded quickly with a helpful clue to propel us forward.

SO MUCH FUN! The staff was welcoming and personable. Everything was very high energy. We did Gold Rush and had so much fun that we did The Heist immediately after. We escaped both with only seconds to go! Super impressed with the rooms and the thoughtful placement of clues and items. Great activity for teams or couples. I can't recommend it enough. Just go...now!

We had a ton of fun at The Escape Game inside Grapevine Mills Mall. "The Playground" was very fun and enjoyable. We were combined with another group, and it was very fun to work together and divide and conquer. Our game keeper, Nick, was excellent. The hints were very well written and well paced. The only struggle was one person in our group is colorblind, and this game depended on colors. But he was able to still enjoy it.

Supposed to open at 8am. Almost an hour late to even open the store.

Pros Puzzle Difficulty…read moreCleanliness Social Interaction Cons Customer Service Management Policy Enforcement I attempted to take on the last of four rooms at this location on 8/25/18 my birthday. However, we were unable to due to several circumstances. Both Samantha and Emily, two game masters working on this night at 8:40PM were confrontational, showed a lack of customer service, and the lowest form of professionalism, all while violating their own company policies. Due to traffic from the Sam Rayburn tollway, the group attending the escape room with me fell behind by 10 minutes. Upon entering we were told that the previous group had been waiting for nearly 15 minutes and had now entered the room. **Policy States** There is a 15 minute grace period before the game or booking is cancelled. However, from their explanations, the other patrons had already been allowed in the room for 10 minutes, verifying that no such grace period was given. It also meant that the group should have been informed of the 15 minute wait period and that at a minimum the game should have not started until 8:45. Our group also did not receive a courtesy call to check on our status. Instead we were told that we could only reschedule for a later date. The game masters were not only argumentative, but told us specifically "I have to go start a game," and left our group in the front in the least professional manner. I have attached a copy of the policy provided to us and will be escalating this incident to higher management for this location and any others associated with it. I am sorely disappointed in this particular room and I have completed several of these throughout the metroplex and outside of the state. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS LOCATION.

He even informed me that they had an event room on site. My group decided to have lunch brought in and we just paid a small fee to have use of their event room.   Once we arrived the staff and owners of ERHQ were ready to go. We were instructed to sign our waivers.  T-shirts were handed out and then the instructions were given. We had two groups.. so half did the Code\ Back Slash room and the other half did the Nuclear Shuttle. Both groups had a great time. The facility is clean and nice.  We ate in the conference room... we forgot to bring in drinks, and the staff saved the day and took care of us (Thank You). We didn't even have to clean up.   The staff will go above and beyond, and we were thrilled with the experience. I will continue to use Escape Rooms HQ and I will recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a memorable bonding experience.   The folks here are still talking about what they could have done differently yesterday to have escaped ;)

The 90 min pass is a good amount of time to feel like you've gotten your fill. We attempted every challenge at least once in that time! Labyrinth is part of a whole activity complex with axe-throwing, trampolines, and obstacle courses as well. You enter the Airborne Trampoline Park and ask for Labyrinth passes at the front desk. I liked that the rooms were a mix between physical and mental tasks, but definitely preferred the physically-focused ones. The mental puzzles were sometimes confusing because you walk in blind with no instructions or hints (you can ask for hints from the employees though). I will say, I saw the all-kids groups breeze through many of those rooms while adult groups (including mine) took many tries. Maybe the challenges just required a certain creativity to solve. I will say for germaphobes, it's a high-touch activity and you can see that wear and tear on the objects, so I'd bring hand sanitizer.

I do want to say the initial check in was good. I had a bag I should have taken home and they held it safe up front for me. Very appreciated. The rough... The location boasts "42" mini escape rooms, most are 2-4 connected rooms with a task to get to the next room. With one task to get through and no real objective or clues, it can be frustrating figuring it out. The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. The place needs a revamp and it could be unique and great!
