The gentleman had an obstructionist attitude, throwing obstacles in the way of my simple goal of seeing what bike size best fit me. I've never been treated so poorly by a business. After suffering this, I stopped everything. Canceled the test ride. Put down the tail bag purchase. I told the 2 employees what I saw happening and how I wasn't going to tolerate it. Later, I received an email from Velofix saying the time was actually 11 AM-1 PM, but I didn't notice the change right away. On the morning of the appointment, I called Velofix to clarify, and the representative told me it was too late to adjust anything and that I should've contacted them earlier. I let it go and agreed to keep the 11-1 window, rearranging my work schedule to be available. No one showed up. At 1:30 PM, I had to call my wife to let her know, and she followed up with Velofix -- only to be told the case had been closed because the service was "out of scope." No one informed me. I was literally on the phone with them that same morning and they said nothing about not coming. This whole experience showed a complete lack of communication and disregard for people's time. I won't be using Velofix again and wouldn't recommend them.

Soon after I rode out on a beautifully rebuilt Pinarello road bike. All of his employees through the years have matched Brian's help and care. And now with this bike shop downtown, it is especially great during farmers markets. They have live music, a great assortment of beer, wine and coffee and even popcorn and avocado toast.
