    Sweeeeeet ride!
    Marcy K.

Kevin who owns the job is awesome! Highly recommend Echelon for all your bicycle needs! Great bikes and service.

First ride post tune up at Annadel Trione State Park. Simply Awesome! Thank you Echelon!

I had purchased my first 29er dual suspension mountain bike from a local shop 2 years ago. After my purchase every time I went back for the free adjustments I felt like I was bothering them. I'd ask a question and they were totally rude and short with me. I went into Echelon a few weeks ago and spoke to Kevin. I learned more from him in 15 minutes about my bike than I did in 2 years from the other shop. He was super friendly and informative. I had his shop do a tune up and convert my tires to tubeless. Austin was working the counter when I picked up my bike. He was also very friendly and informative as well. My bike feels BETTER than new now. I highly recommend Echelon! Keep up the great work and customer service approach Kevin and Team.

Mariko took an hour out of her time to drive me back to her shop and loan me a wheel so I could finish my ride.

It's enormous -- the kind of enormous where you half-expect to find a lost civilization in the camping section. And somehow they have everything. Outdoor gear, bike shop, rentals for basically any activity you've ever considered trying drunk at a party, lift ticket discounts... if it involves fresh air and mild suffering, they've got you covered. Now let's talk about the Basementeers membership, because it deserves its own paragraph. Twenty-five dollars. Once. For life. That's not a typo. For the price of a mediocre cocktail, you get 10% off forever, plus occasional 20% Friends & Family discounts. I've made worse financial decisions in the same afternoon. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and seemingly immune to the judgment you'd deserve for asking "what's the difference between hiking and walking." Basically: go. Join. Buy things. Touch grass -- they sell gear for that too.

I like the program because the items don't end up in the landfill and someone else can use a perfectly good item. I used to love trading in and the credit was 25 to 30%, then it went to 20% then it went to 10% and now 5% for street items. I do understand camping gear is more than 5%, not much more. I would really hate to see that section go under and not be used the way it was intended, when the program was created. I imagine fewer people are bringing items when they only receive 5% on street items. I brought a street item in, which was a very nice new woman's backpack, with the tags, for $65 not including tax. I received $3.25 trade-in, that's 5%. The down grade is very disappointing. The profits could be shared, the store credit ends up going back into the store. Good luck, maintaining this section due to policies. Please reevaluate before it's too late, check for decline.
