This store isn't as disorganized or disheveled as some other stores can be. It can be a wait to check out though even with self check out and the staff that they have there, so keep that in mind. I came back for my 5th time on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and we had the best time. We chose the 6:30p-8:30p slot, and paid $50 for the special event table reservation (included a couples caricature). I know they had a later Valentine's reservation slot from 9-11pm and those couples got a little heart shaped trinket tray as part of their $50 fee. The table reservation cost does NOT include the price of the pottery you choose. They have a wide selection of pottery pieces you can choose from at varying price points so everyone can find something they will love to paint during the time. They had a new astrology jar with a lid that i've never seen before and instantly fell in love. My partner needed a bit more time to choose a piece, and decided on a dragon wrapped around a tower that will include a tea light for later to light up the tower (super cool). The two pieces were less than $100 total ($36 for the jar and $54? for the tower dragon) which is around the price I was expecting to pay. Note that my boyfriend and I showed up at 6:15 to look at the pottery early and we were thankful we did because it gave us extra time to paint without feeling a super tight time crunch. The staff was super sweet and attentive and remembered me from past times I've been there, which makes me feel more comfortable and happy there. They were checking tables frequently and making sure paint was always available and refilled for our use. They also gave us time checks to let us know how much time we had left which was appreciated. It is important to remember that 1 coat will leave a lighter finish while 3 coats will create a more opaque finish. They had a card on the table that said more than 3 coats of paint can warp your piece during the drying process or even cause an explosion due to trapped air between paint layers so do be aware! You also have to leave your pottery for up to a week so it can fully dry and bake in the kiln so the glaze hardens and becomes all shiny and beautiful. I have been happy with every piece I have made at Color Me Mine Covina and I will definitely keep recommending it to those around me because it really is that fun and enjoyable of an experience.

Since the night was Hello Kitty it was filled with a large selection of the Sanrio characters plus some of them wearing the Dodger hat. I picked a heart plate to decorate. You can pick whichever colors you want and then make it your own. You won't get the plate right away it will take a little while but I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I'm new to ceramics and taking a class for which I needed to purchase clay. Because it's about an…read morehour drive I called first to make sure they had the type of clay I needed in stock. Because this was my first time purchasing clay, I didn't know exactly the stock number of the item I needed. I had a list of qualities I needed the clay to match (cone number, sandy, color, etc.). I explained what I was trying to find out to the first person who answered the phone and she told me I needed to speak to someone in X department for questions about product availability and transfered me over. When I got to that department and again explained my question I was told they couldn't provide a list of clay matching those descriptions, I'd have to speak to someone in Y department, then transferred me again. That person was, thankfully, able to suggest a couple of clays that would meet my needs. But he wasn't able to give me any information on availability or price. I'd need to be transferred back to department X again. For a new customer, this was just a lot of hassle to get an answer to a relatively simple question. I did end up getting all of the information I needed eventually and drove out to the store to pick it up. You can order clay online and have it shipped, but for that the minimum order is 50 lbs. In store you can purchase 25 lb packages. The store has a lot of options for clay, glazes, and tools and as a new ceramicist it was fun to window shop. The in store staff were nice, and if you have a student ID they offer a small discount.

Or you don't know? He says we usually don't get anymore of something if it sells out.. so I ask him you don't have a limit on bags you sell? He said no The guy buying the bag had 2 each of multiple bags totally a reseller.. The cashier guy not sure if he's the owner or manager he was rude and so clueless. He didn't even bother to check just kinda was standing there and the guy buying the bags was just staring at his phone knowing he's a jerk trying to make a buck! Puente hills mall is pretty much a dead mall this guy should really think about being better to his potential customers! I recommend going to other collector stores stay away from this one

I love sports memorabilia and my young son loves the typical action figures/POP's toys/collectible stuff. This place had a ton of both. I really enjoyed looking through all the autograph items - Kobe, Michael Jordan, Dodgers players, etc. I was told they are going to have actual players/celebrities do signings at the store. It's a really large space, it's clean, and they have tons of stuff to look at - not just limited to sports or toys. It has things for people of all ages - boys and girls. But what made this place different, was the friendly, helpful people that worked there. I really appreciated that level of customer service. It's always easy to order things online, but I enjoy seeing the toy before I buy it and talking with someone who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommended!

The store also had lots of freebies like posters, photo cards, etc. The female manning the store was very patient with us browsing and answering questions. They also sell make up, albums and other collectible items like Sanrio and Pop Mart. They were reselling Labubu's and had some clothing as well. Super cute store and would come again for any kpop needs, since it's not too far! :)
