If you live in a NYC co-op, you already know how huge that is! A few things I especially appreciated: * They stayed within their original estimated range (~$1900-2400), even though the project required a second visit after we discovered my older Kohler valve needed a retrofit adapter that no longer ships with current trim kits. * Communication was responsive and straightforward. * They clearly knew their way around older NYC plumbing situations and co-op logistics. * They accommodated the work during boiler/heating season (October), when many plumbers were either fully booked or unwilling to deal with co-op paperwork at all. One useful lesson for other co-op owners: if possible, bundle multiple plumbing issues into one project. Through the week we arranged the item I needed, I paid for it to be picked up at the Home Depot convenient for him. It was over 100lbs & I am truly grateful Anthony handled pickup & delivery. Come Thursday Anthony & his associate Miguel arrived to my home & brought the unit up my stoop + two flights of stairs, and swapped my old commode out for the new one within two hours! I was very surprised at the very lax/vague statement of work, the proposed price tag of $25,000 and the fact that when I wouldn't sign at 9:00 PM, the quote paperwork was taken away. I ended up with a master plumber who determined the cause and repaired the pipes for a fraction of the proposed amount.
