On Mondays they have three tacos for five dollars and they were amazing! Great happy hour as well. You can play darts and pool here. Really fun place to hang out. Great vibe. Super friendly bartender.

Chill dive on the outskirts of Portland. I nice find that I definitely plan on returning if my travels take me back to the area.

If you were looking for a classic dive bar in the Multnomah Village area, look no further! Decent tap selections and decent mixed drinks.

I started with a tall double Captain and Diet Coke. It was a heavy pour. Two thumbs up. Great way to begin the evening right. I can see this place packed on a game day. There are standing bar areas in between the actual bar and booths around the perimeter. For my dinner, I ordered some appetizers as I wasn't very hungry - Sliders and chicken tenders with an upgrade to garlic parmesan fries. Slider buns were crispy from the griddle. Little Hawaiian buns. The burger sauce kind of tasted like thousand island. Wasn't my favorite but I am not a big fan of anything other than ranch or ketchup. The chicken tenders were a tad dry but I dipped them in sauce and they were fine. Five came to an order. All of the sauces were all good. My Waiter was Brian who was also the bartender. He checked in on me a couple of times. He poured one heck of a strong drink. I was happy as a clam. This is my kind of place. Enjoyed it so much and the convenience of the location that I returned the following evening and ordered the same thing. I was helped by Christie. She was just as professional, attentive and cordial as Brian. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had a few beers, and the bartender was fantastic--she let me sample a couple before I picked one, which was really appreciated. The food was great too. I ordered the sliders and mozzarella sticks, and both were delicious. The atmosphere was fun, the service was friendly, and it was the perfect spot to watch soccer with friends. If we're back in Portland, we'd definitely come back!

The bar itself was bigger than I expected with really three main rooms. They have video gambling as well and plenty of TVs to watch on especially if people are there for different sports. We came to watch World Cup. They also have quite a packed house for trivia night. I ordered a happy hour burger and fries for $7 and it came out quickly and was delicious. Really no brainer for $7. I had gotten a Hefe to drink but something was off about it. Not sure what but I didn't like the taste. I'm not sure what brand it was. We had excellent service and all the staff were friendly and kept the place and tables tidy. Seems like a great sports bar that in would go to again.

I thought, we hardly have crab this year, why not! We parked in the back, spotted a stairs going up, we weren't sure where the entrance was, there was no sign or anything. As we got to the top of the stairs, we saw a sign: "Authorize Personnel Only" there were a lot of cigarette butts (where people usually go out for a smoke or break). We went back down, and went around the side, where we spotted 'No Minors" sign on the door. This must be where to get inside! We spotted tables and empty seats by a window, I always prefer the window seats. The first chair I sat on, I started to lean backwards, and realized, there's no back rest. We moved to the next table, and I picked a seat with back rest. I'm more comfortable doing that. Hubby was OK sitting without one. The table was dirty! There was only one waitress and she works at the bar counter too. And she's already running around to accommodate the customers. My order was: Crab & Mushroom Fettucine served with garlic toast. It was so rich with cheese, and gooeey! I thought, the only crab I was getting was those shown on top, but there were more smaller pieces on the bottom, hidden. Same with mushrooms, I could count how many slices, then I keep seeing more. I did saved half for my lunch, the next day. I enjoyed my meal. The bread, with a bit burned on the side. (hidden beside my plate of pasta). Hubby's food: Crab & Shrimp Met Sandwich and Homemade Chips. Both were pretty good. I like his sandwich A LOT! Server was friendly & prompt. He also ordered a side of Clam Chowder. It was so thick & very creamy. The bathroom is something you'd find in a dive bar! There's a window in the women's bathroom, but I couldn't see how close it was to the ground.

It's been a love/hate relationship for me and the OMP over the years, but I gave it another shot…read morewhile looking to catch a mid-day World Cup game; a cool spot preferably with happy hour and easy parking. OMP checked all the boxes and I gotta say they've stepped up their sports bar bona fides: I counted 14 screens spread across the entirety of the place, which is pretty huge now that they added a game room at the back. The covered patio's pretty sizeable too. Anyway it turned out to be a decent call, as I got a great view of the game, cheery service from the staff, and a nice, cool, uncrowded environment (middle of the day and sat inside). Unfortunately they haven't stepped up their food game, and my garden salad felt like it was straight out of a bag, mostly iceberg lettuce and a tomato or two for color. Meatball Sliders were ok, but I'll also cut the OMP a little slack; these were happy hour items AND, it is a pub. Order accordingly and you should be good. 4 stars for service and views, 3 stars for food.

That's when the…read morecraft beer scene was slowly emerging and getting a customer base.. before the over saturation that came later. This brewery is in a part of Portland we don't usually go to so there were lots of breweries that were new to us to try. Steve and I had lunch here. I saw that they had a pretty deluxe grilled cheese sandwich and that sounded great. With a few different kinds of cheese and tomato this sandwich proved to be more involved than I thought but it was good! Steve and I then shared an order of onion rings... man I haven't had those in a while and they were not disappointing at all. The beer... yes that was what our primary draw was to come here for. I got the the Row 14 which is a rice lager and this particular rice lager was Hopped. It was good! It had that nice graininess that you get with a rice lager in the flavor profile but with it being hopped it's a bit more bitter... a bit more of a bite. It wend good with the meal! We had another Old Market beer. This one was the Dark Ritual which was a dark lager. This was another good, solid beer also. Flavors to enjoy with this one are coffee, maltiness, roastiness, sweet with a smooth body. The restaurant location is cool. It's nice and spacious and comes across as kind of a college hangout (though I don't know if it really is). It also looks like you might even possibly get live music on certain nights. Old Market was a good, solid visit and is worthy of a return.
