Had a fun time at my first karaoke lounge. We were in the smallest private room and it was perfect for 3 people.

iRock Karaoke Lounge is a bit difficult to find. It is in the very back of the shopping complex. Take the side road towards the Storage place. It is at the far end of the parking lot. There is ample parking. There seems to be outdoor seating at the entrance to enjoy during warmer temps. Once you enter, there is a bar and DJ booth. I arrived at 10:15pm on Friday and it was jamming like a nightclub. The dance floor is small, and the crowd seemed to be on the younger side; around 20s-30s. I was there for a birthday celebration so we got a private room. There were 15 of us and everyone had seating comfortably. There were two long sofas and individual plastic cubes. Our waitress didn't explain how to use the karaoke machine until we asked for assistance. Their database didn't have a huge selection of songs. So we pulled up songs on YouTube and enjoyed karaoke. One of the two microphones didn't seem to work either. We ordered barbecue wings and they were delicious. They are fried hard! We also ordered a basket of wings without sauce and realized the sauce was the only seasoning on the wings. Stick with the original recipe. When I checked in on Yelp, there was a discount offer. I showed our waitress when the bill came. She needed to take my phone to someone else to show the coupon. I didn't like having my phone carried away so I followed her. They should figure out a better process for digital coupons. It's a fun place to be. I left around 1:00am and people were still arriving. It's a nice a venue for late night entertainment.

Ordered on Uber eats and it hit the spot for late night Sunday food! The bugolgi was good- lots of onions and came with sides. Uber eats has options to pay 2$ for larger sides I guess? The bulgolgi sushi was a nice choose for the kids. The matsubi was also pretty good. Added some kimchi for more heat. The wings hit the spot. 10$ for 8 wings was fair pricing. All in all a solid Uber eats experience.

Plenty of fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful setting up our room and helping us with the equipment. Apparently karaoke and soju go together quite well!

Nothing spectacular about our meal of gimbop and gamja tang (pork bone stew). The Stew was meaty enough and spicy. The ban Chan (side dishes) were a bit disappointing.

Every thing was really nice. The egg rolls were the best I've ever had. The room was clean and easy to use. We had a ball

Food could be a little better, fun place. The bar area turns into a club itself which is kinda fun.

The lounge is on the smaller side, which actually worked well for the event and gave it an intimate vibe. The owner was also very nice and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The menu is extremely limited, and you pretty much have to piece together a meal from a few items. I ordered the jollof rice and six-piece chicken wings. The wings were overpriced, overcooked, and had no flavor at all. The only options were sauces on the side (honey, ranch, or blue cheese), and when I specifically asked for honey drizzled on top with blue cheese on the side, that request wasn't followed. Even more frustrating, our server never came back to check on us or make sure everything was okay. The jollof rice was honestly the worst part. Instead of that rich, smoky flavor you'd expect, it tasted burnt with a harsh charcoal aftertaste. I've had jollof rice many times before, and this was nowhere close. I ended up sending it back. Because I was hungry, I forced myself to eat the wings, even though they were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, Myste Lounge has a nice look and potential, but the food and service really need improvement. A revamped menu and better attention to guests would make a huge difference.

Service was great considering the place is small, it's hard to miss customers. It's a small hookah lounge in downtown Laurel, so don't expect a ton of space, but it's still a nice little spot to unwind after a long day or make a chill after-dinner stop. Hookah was smooth and the atmosphere was laid back. They do sell food, but we didn't try it this time. My only downside is the drink menu, it's mostly wine and champagne but overall it's a place I could see myself frequenting.

We decided to stay and check it out, @1pm on a Sunday. Brunch is from 11a-4pm. There was only 1 other person for brunch, when we arrived. There was a DJ was that playing super loud music. Mostly rap music. The food was good. Fresh salad, fruit, meats etc. Unlimited mimosas was $25 per person. We could only order 1 flavor at a time, which there was about 8 flavors. They were good By 3pm, the place was more so filling up. What was crazy was at 4pm, the workers started breaking down the buffet-- quickly!! A group that had arrived @ 3 were caught off guard that brunch was ending. The workers did provide everyone with TAKE HOME Boxes, so we filled our boxes as fast as they were breaking it down lol Hookah guy arrived, think it was a total of $68. The hookah was good Gratuity is automatically included. Our waitress was GREAT! Only thing I didn't like, the place had her walking around in a tight leopard body suit, with her arms out, like this was the Playboy mansion. It was cold in there. Online the place looks great and interesting so we decided to hit it up around 9pm because it doesn't close until 2am. So when we walked in the place was pitch black and the vibe was really off. We had to pay $20 a person to enter which at first I was confused because I thought this place was games, bars, music, and vibes...not at all. So we were walking around and the crowd I'll just say wasn't the type I wanted to be around. Only one bar was open and the music was weird. So we decided to leave and when I asked the person who was taking the money what was going on tonight they said an event. Now, this event was not posted anywhere on their website or social media. So I would caution going at night or call beforehand because I don't think I would want to come back because it was nothing like it is portrayed online.

Our server was friendly and he let us know that he was brand new. That said, he was a little awkward and not confident in what he was doing, so he definitely needs some work. The interior is nice, definitely more of a lounge feel than a traditional restaurant and as we were finishing up, the younger crowd was coming in for the nightlife. The drinks were affordable and strong, which was a definite plus. However, my main issue with The Lodge is the seating situation near the stage. If you're sitting in front, be prepared for people to stand directly in front of you during the drag show. I would've preferred if the drag queens, owner, or even security had stepped in to ask them to move. It was frustrating to have 6-foot-tall, 300-pound women completely block our view--especially after paying $18 per ticket. Also, watch out for this one wild white lady in a black shirt and floral shorts who acts invisible and blocks multiple people. If you ask her politely to move, she'll argue with you and even try to escalate things by telling you to "step outside" like she's about that life. Overall, for our first drag show, we had fun--but if you're going to enjoy the performance, be ready to be annoyed because no one there is enforcing basic courtesy or crowd control.
