My friends and I visited tonight for karaoke and were having a fantastic time. We've been here before, enjoyed ourselves in the past, and came back expecting another great experience to wrap up an otherwise pretty great night. The atmosphere was fun, the drinks were good, and everything was going well until the last few minutes before closing. Around 1:55 AM, security came into our karaoke room and informed us that the venue was closing. One member of our group politely explained that we were in the middle of our final song and asked if we could have the remaining few minutes to finish it, since they officially close at 2. Security agreed and told us they would return in five minutes. We thanked them and immediately began wrapping things up. Unfortunately, only a minute or two later, a staff member entered the room, told us we needed to "get the f#ck out," and began shutting down the karaoke equipment while we were still finishing the song. When someone in our group respectfully commented that we didn't have to speak like that to us, the response was essentially, "I don't give a f#ck, I want to go home." As we were leaving, we also heard another staff member shouting at customers to get out, including comments such as "Goodbye, adios, whatever f#cking language you speak." Whether intended as a joke or not, it came across as unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. To be clear, we completely understand that businesses have closing times and that employees want to go home at the end of a long shift. We were already preparing to leave and had no issue with the venue closing. The problem wasn't being asked to leave...it was the way it was handled. What had been a genuinely enjoyable night ended on a very negative note because of the attitude and language directed toward customers. It's disappointing because we had a great time otherwise and have enjoyed visiting in the past. Hopefully management addresses this, because a little professionalism and courtesy in those final few minutes would have left us looking forward to returning instead of reconsidering whether we will. read more

We had our son's 13th birthday and they had a blast. The food was better than expected. The service was really good. The only thing lacking was the machine because it didn't have many Korean songs and hard to search for them. We rented a medium room and it was plenty large for 5 boys. read more

Not trying to be rude...but I have been here twice and it has smelled like piss each time. It smelled like pee in the private room that we were in, and in the hallway leading up to the bathroom, and on the dance floor (we went pretty late, so not sure if it just happened to be a coincidence and someone pissed on the floor both times we went ) The staff is really nice and friendly, but again, I can't get over the smell. Maybe there's something wrong with their sewage system? The room was also pretty messy, and unfortunately, if you're playing songs from YouTube, their Internet is really slow. When we asked staff about this they said that because we're using YouTube it takes a toll on their system but the stuff that they already have pre-downloaded and ready to go is not music familiar to us. Kinda sucked because they charge you based on time, I'd say we spent a good 20 minutes just waiting for the songs to load. read more

iRock Karaoke Lounge is a bit difficult to find. It is in the very back of the shopping complex. Take the side road towards the Storage place. It is at the far end of the parking lot. There is ample parking. There seems to be outdoor seating at the entrance to enjoy during warmer temps. Once you enter, there is a bar and DJ booth. I arrived at 10:15pm on Friday and it was jamming like a nightclub. The dance floor is small, and the crowd seemed to be on the younger side; around 20s-30s. I was there for a birthday celebration so we got a private room. There were 15 of us and everyone had seating comfortably. There were two long sofas and individual plastic cubes. Our waitress didn't explain how to use the karaoke machine until we asked for assistance. Their database didn't have a huge selection of songs. So we pulled up songs on YouTube and enjoyed karaoke. One of the two microphones didn't seem to work either. We ordered barbecue wings and they were delicious. They are fried hard! We also ordered a basket of wings without sauce and realized the sauce was the only seasoning on the wings. Stick with the original recipe. When I checked in on Yelp, there was a discount offer. I showed our waitress when the bill came. She needed to take my phone to someone else to show the coupon. I didn't like having my phone carried away so I followed her. They should figure out a better process for digital coupons. It's a fun place to be. I left around 1:00am and people were still arriving. It's a nice a venue for late night entertainment. read more

Last night (a Wednesday) we were a party of 8 seniors who rented a mid sized private room from 6-9 PM. A little hard to find but lots of free parking. They have a happy hour special Sun-Thur where you don't have to pay for the room as long as you spend the hourly room fee amount on food and drink. The room was nice enough and comfortable for 8-9 people. The karaoke tv was large and the sound system quite good. Hint: if you're having trouble finding songs you want then forget their proprietary app and use the You Tube app that's available. Both work fine but You Tube had the songs we wanted and the quality was much better. The food was mostly fine for bar food, although they do have a couple of Korean dishes. Check the menu before going. I recommend the sampler appetizer platter for groups. The bulgogi over rice was pretty good as were the burgers. My wife ate the fish and chips and she's really picky. The drinks seemed good. I had a strong Long Island iced tea and a really cold beer. The 8 of us ate and drank (modestly) for 3 hours for a total of $213 with tax and tip which is really a good deal at $53/couple. Also, importantly, the service was great. We went to iRock Karaoke for a birthday and had a pretty good time. Booking a reservation was super easy, which was nice. The song selection was decent, and it's cool that you can use YouTube if they don't have something you want. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were fine, not amazing, but they worked. The bar area was a little cramped, and one of the microphones didn't work that well, which was kind of annoying. It's a fun spot, and I'd go back, but it's nothing special. Ordered on Uber eats and it hit the spot for late night Sunday food! The bugolgi was good- lots of onions and came with sides. Uber eats has options to pay 2$ for larger sides I guess? The bulgolgi sushi was a nice choose for the kids. The matsubi was also pretty good. Added some kimchi for more heat. The wings hit the spot. 10$ for 8 wings was fair pricing. Had my 21st birthday here! We made a reservation and showed up on the dot (family ). They checked my entire party's IDs upon entry. Once they returned our IDs, we were sat and waited for a room. We actually didn't even get to sit - we were told to sit, and then the room was ready ! The room was spacious enough for my group of 4. My room came with 2 microphones & the karaoke machine was really easy for everyone to use. You can add songs to queue and use the option of background vocals or just karaoke. There were a lot of drink options; I got a Sex on the Beach, and a couple other drinks I can't remember .. It was pretty good, not the greatest. I went out to the bar for a drink, and ordered a Jaegernaut bomb. It was suuuuper delicious, and on the house for my birthday :)! Overall great experience, 10/10 would recommend! read more

Worst experience of my life, the whole night was so unorganized and unprofessiona. there was one guy who kept harassing my party cause we had one girl under 21...she was 20 and every 10 minutes kept telling us she would have to leave at 10. The karaoke was on a Roku smart tv and we had to pull up songs on YouTube (I could've done that at my fucking house) and the drinks were disgusting tasted like water or cheap liquor and then after the end of the night that same associate who harassed us all night charge me twice for the room claiming someone closed out the room even though it was under my name and card. Then proceeded to charge me twice for food that was not under my card. I love karaoke... and I must say this was a rather unique experience. My sister and I have been wanting to do karaoke together for a LONG time now... and this place crossed my radar. It's kind of hidden, but GPS led me true. When you enter, it looks like a regular sports bar. For a Sunday evening, it was pretty quiet! And there are a bunch of rooms for the private karaoke experience. Personally, I feel like that can be done at home (minus the bottle service of course!) and I prefer the public karaoke scene... not knowing who your audience will be or what they'll be like, and having a DJ take your song requests and call you when it's your turn. However, this one was different. My sister and I sat at the bar, and there were some mics in a stand, up for grabs for whoever wanted to sing. And next to the bar is a touchscreen... we had full control of the music that was playing. When we arrived, there was an awesome Afrobeats Mix playing. We also had the freedom of picking our own songs (through YouTube) and singing them. I'm not used to a karaoke experience being so DIY! Meanwhile, my sister snacked on edamame and I had tteokbokki. The rice cakes were a tad chewier than I prefer, but overall it was delicious! I also sipped on some soju, and just had an absolute blast singing. After a while, more people did start to come in, and made the experience all the more fun. I am still laughing at the man who sang "Let It Go" from Frozen. I will definitely return! Had a wonderful time at iRock for my birthday. My friends made a reservation by calling during the regular business hours, but you can make a reservation on Yelp. When we arrived, there was a quick ID check at the door and then we moved to the bar area to check-in for our reservation. Our room was ready a couple of minutes before our scheduled time. It was clean and ready to go. The staff member who set us up in the room was very friendly and explained how the system and how to get the room to lite liking (AC, lighting, calling for service). A waitress placed drink and food menus on our table and brought us a pitcher of water. We got drinks from the bar and they were good, could have been stronger. Service was fast and everyone on staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and there wasn't a line. When it was time to go, we weren't rushed out the room or even told to leave. I'm assuming it's because the place wasn't packed and our reservation was 10:15 pm to 12:15 am. Checkout was very easy at the register and there was no problem with billing. Can I just start with how authentic their Korean food taste I highly recommend you try everything on the menu ( seriously, I don't get pay to say this) First time, I ordered BOSSSM, chicken soup, fish and few bottles of SOJU shared with 2 other friends, surprisedly are pretty filling we were all stuffed s the BOSSAM was cooked to perfection, not too oily or fatty and all the sides were all fresh. Took a friend out for her 30th birthday who had been dying to try karaoke and this was the place to do it! I've gone to many, many karaoke bars - and having the private room to sing always makes it more fun and intimate with your group. Plus those in your group who are on the shyer side are more likely to get up and sing or at least sing along with everyone else. This is definitely a hidden gem location. Price was fair depending on the size of the room. We went Friday night and lucked out getting a room for 2 hours because we got there at 6 PM. Any later and we would have been out of luck. So I highly recommend booking in advance. They don't have singing in the main floor on busy nights so if you don't get a room you're just basically hanging out in a bar (which is fine if singing isn't the priority). Staff was super friendly - getting early also helps as we got more attention (plus free shots for the bday girl). I also got a tour of all the rooms - there's a HUGE room for at least 30 if you're ever thinking of going that wild for an event. We had a great time - but no clear reservation system in advance can be a challenge. Also the song selection on the machine itself is limited so you then have to go through YouTube for anything else (like Disney). But again minor dings to the overall experience. If you want something fun without having to go into DC for major singing and not compete with others for the mic - then this is the place to pop your karaoke cherry. read more

First time going and I booked a room for my boyfriend's birthday. I guess the room was meant for 9 and we had about 15-20 people come by throughout the night (not all at once lol). It was pretty fun. Drinks ordered at the bar and it was pretty busy. There is a button for someone to come to take orders, but we didn't use it. The drink menu was reasonable. We didn't have any food. They did allow birthday cake to be brought in which was really nice. We stayed for about 4 hours. My bill for the room was calculated almost to the minute lol. FIVE STARS - SO MUCH FUN!! My family and I reserved a large private room on Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary. Our guests ranged from 18 months to 70 years old and we all had a blast. JAMES, was a phenomenal host. Very attentive, patient and cool. The FOOD is delish, I would literally order out from this establishment the food is so good. And I loved that they had a non-alcohol refreshments menu that was very creative (passion fruit for the win!). They were generous about samples when making decisions about what to order. It was really easy to book our reservation online and James called on the day off to confirm our reservation and answer any questions. When we arrived, we got a little lost but called and were directed. There's a little construction out front which was initially off putting but we soon forgot once the mic was in hand and food and bev orders were placed. I've always had a blast with my friends. The sound system is great and song selection menu is easy to navigate. I always notice that one mic is not as loud as the other one (maybe main vs lead vocals). Make sure you make a reservation online as it can get packed especially on the weekend. iRock falls short on the service department though. Plenty of nights there aren't enough hands to greet guest, make and run the food/drinks, and service the karaoke rooms. It takes away from the experience when they're trying to handle the crowd around the bar, but not those in the rooms that are already paying by the hour. I haven't tried the food, but everyone says it's good. Word on the street is the old chefs from Cafe 2020 came here. read more

Located in a decent area, wasn't alot surrounding the area but I felt safe. The food was good but the drinks were overpriced as well as the rental price. They do not have a variety of music selections with their karaoke system, we just YouTubed karaoke videos on YouTube on the monitors located in the rooms. The only thing I did not like about this place was the location. It was SO hard to find and the signs are super misleading. The sign out front says "IROCK behind the Bank of America". There is NO BANK OF AMERICA in that center. (haha) Its next to a Self storage. So keep that in mind so you won't go around in 10 circles like we did. They have private rooms that they charge about $65/hour. The private rooms are awesome and their music selection is really good! This place is only good for the private room experience. If you want to go for the bar, they have a decent sized bar and they have an area where you can sing for free. This is an Asian operated karaoke bar just in case you are looking for an American bar. Came here for a few hours with friends. Had a great time! Perhaps that's just the nature of kareoke though. The GUI for the karaoke interface is not too intuitive and was hard to tell how deep their selection went at times. Went here for a team outing back in December I believe. Had the best time of my life. The tablet was easy to use after being shown how to work it. It is easier to use YouTube when picking songs. The food was good we only got appetizers but was definitely enough because you're too busy singing. The drinks were delicious and our bartender was so great and personable. We came here as a group to celebrate my best friends birthday. This was such a cool idea! It was super fun taking turns singing karaoke to different songs that we each liked! There's a bar that has drinks and simple foods (like chicken tenders and French fries) so that you can turn up and eat while having fun. We went on a Sunday evening and there was nobody else there in any of the other rooms. The 2 girls that worked there were really nice and helpful. The only thing I will say is that I wish they had more of a variety of hip hop and r&b songs, and some of the lyrics were off as we were trying to read along while singing some of the songs. We had been hoping to try this place out for a while, because my daughter (Age 10) is really into singing karaoke in her bedroom on an iPad. I tried to call but no one picked up, so I wrote them on Facebook to ask if I could bring older kids if I rented a room and they quickly responded and said it was fine. I would personally not bring very small children. There are a lot of things that can break, and you're responsible if they do break. I reserved on Yelp and somehow got a VIP room instead of a small one. I guess it's what the system gave me. Anyway, when I got there, only the large room was available so they let us have it for the same price as the small one. Can't complain about that at all. The room was clean and had nice equipment. The microphones were a bit finicky, but not too bad. We chose to use YouTube for the karaoke. We got Gimbap, which was a large portion and pretty good, Spring Rolls, which were what you'd expect, and BBQ wings, that were small but tasted good. They did not push food on us and every time we needed something they were very attentive. We had a great time and look forward to returning for another visit. read more
