I haven't spent much time at shooting ranges but this one is pretty nice. It took about 5 minutes to use the tablet in order to sign a waiver. We were allowed to rent a lane for 1 hour and get 6 targets for about $40. Place is extremely clean. They even provide goggles and ear muffs. You can also get scuba training here. read more

I went here in 2020 and they had a no mask policy, which is disgusting. I was in town and thought I would try again, after all, maybe they were just stupid. It is so hot in there you can't breath. I have no idea whether they have AC. I tried my best to get my shooting done, but I was miserable. It is too bad because the rental prices are fair, they have a very good selection and the staff is nice. But I am done now. read more

The prices are very reasonable whether you are buying a weapon or just renting from the range. You may rent for a fair price, or you may bring your own guns. My son and I went to Ted's today and I am genuinely impressed with how well it all went. The main thing here that impresses me is how genuinely friendly the employees are. A lot of gun places treat you like you're a newb or a bother if you aren't a regular there. These guys weren't that way at all, treated us with respect and zero ego/arrogance. I realize this should be the norm but a lot of gun shops and ranges are not this way. Just try the range at Rio Solado / Usery and you'll get an idea of how NOT to treat people. The overall experience is what you can expect at any modern indoor range I've been to. Sign a waiver, check for eye/ear protection, check your ammo, good to go. Ammo rules are on par with other places as well BTW. Brass only, smaller than .308, nothing exotic.. pretty standard stuff. They even allow double tap and rapid. You DO NOT have to purchase their ammo unless it's a rental as far as I know, their gun their rules is how I see it. (Pretty sure that's the norm at most ranges BTW) We brought all our own ammo and they just did a quick visual and said good to go. Place is very clean, well maintained as well. While I knew these guys were good I am genuinely impressed with how well the overall experience was. Clean facility, reasonable prices, friendly team. Can't ask for more than that for a day to take your son shooting. Glad they are in QC. Thanks guys, we will definitely be back! read more

I took my aunt to the Shooting Range to figure out a better fitting pistol than the big old 686 she has. They had a wide selection of smaller pistols for my aunt to try, even an M&P .380 EZ. I hadn't fired a SAW in decades, but they were able to give me that experience again. Hooah! Great group of people at this range. I have come here quite a few times to rent some handguns since my 21st birthday is near. Ted's shooting range is a good way to find exactly what you want before you go out and spend the money on a gun! Their selection of rentals is very vast and the knowledge of the staff is extensive. They answered all the questions I had, made recommendations based on what I liked/disliked, and were very friendly the entire time. The value for this service is also great, you can be out of the door for around $30-50 depending on the ammount of targets/ammo/time you need. I did find it interesting that you cannot rent handguns without someone over the age of 21 with you, but you can rent rifles. So for anyone looking to do the same thing as me, bring an of-age friend/parent. read more

I finally made it to The Shooting Range (Ted's Shooting Range) in Queen Creek for Ladies' Day. TSR is a 100% woman-owned shooting range and gun store. They offer "Ladies' Day" on Tuesdays and Thursdays with free range time. It's a little more "grimey" than the larger brands: For example, shooters use a toggle switch to move the target carrier forward and backward on the lane until it's just over stripes on the floor painted to indicate the shooting distance. Instead of automatic sliding glass doors between the sales floor and shooting range, we walk through a pattern of regular doors under dingy light until arriving at two doors, opposite each other, with numbers painted on the face to notify shooters which shooting lanes are behind each. Brass from the shooter in the station next to me flew over the divider and onto my head, bench, arms, and other... Which reminds me! Brass is swept downrange with old brooms, not squeegees (that was notable to me at the time). My delay visiting TSR likely came from the following: Shooters cannot sign waivers online in advance. Instead, upon entering that evening, I was promptly greeted and kindly escorted by Cameron [sp] to a row of tablets on stands where I was to create an account and complete the waiver. It took about ten minutes. That said, I'm on the autism spectrum, so it's just a better experience for me to have the waiver done and watch any safety videos on line, so when I get there, I can just check-in and get on range. All in all, the visit felt good and strangely familiar, despite the empty brass raining down on me from from the shooter in the neighboring stall. All of his shells were on my bench, on the floor of my stall, and on me! I recently went to Caswells for Ladies' Day, so as a shooter, not a student, and I have to say, TSR and Caswells might be tied for "griminess," give or take, this for that. For example, Caswells has a digital target carrier, but apart from that, they are pretty much equal. read more

Decent range. My only complaint is that it is incredibly hot in here. They have a ladies day where you get to shoot free, but it's hard to want to go because it's a sweat hut. During the summer, it's almost intolerable. I have found that if you stand against the back wall, you can feel a little bit of a breeze lol. Range staff is friendly. Always open to answering questions or showing you something cool to rent. They have a nice stocked shop with all kinds of ammo and their rental selection is extensive. Pricing for an hour isn't too bad for your typical range- it's pretty much on par with every other range. read more

First time at this establishment. My brother went here for concealed carry training, and recommended it. We were pleasantly and professionally treated from start to finish. First time here, so I had to sign up, sign the usual waivers etc., all on a kiosk. Pretty decent selection of ammo, at fair prices. I bought some .45 reloads,and 7.62 R for my old Russian rifle. Bought a new pair of ear protectors. A couple of targets each, then into the firing range area. Standard type of lanes, perhaps a bit narrow for a couple of jumbos like my brother and I, but adequate. Met a gentleman shooting with his son, maybe 11 years old. The type of people I typically run into at firearm venues. Polite, smart, disciplined. Dad is a pilot, son a young gentleman. Had a great time, felt safe and secure. I highly recommend this place for anyone serious about proper weapons instruction and shooting. Will most certainly return. read more

My family of 4 took the Intro to Pistols class taught by JT. JT was an excellent instructor. He clearly presented and demonstrated the classroom material and gave individual attention to anyone who needed assistance (we had practically zero experience with guns) to ensure we were familiar enough with our firearm before proceeding to the range. On the range, JT again paid close attention to each of us, ensuring we were adhering to proper safety protocols and providing individual pointers on how to grip/aim/pull the trigger to improve our comfort and accuracy with each of the 4 different types of firearms we rented. All in all a great family experience and I'd highly recommend JT as an instructor. read more

I am genuinely disappointed that I was a loyal customer for 5+ years to such a cowardly, unpatriotic, and ignorant group of fools. As best I can tell, they have such blind loyalty to fools or wishful ignorance they're trying to force any customer to expose themselves to the worst pandemic in 100+ years. When I stopped in to buy another gun and do some shooting, I passed a sign inside the front door saying "NO MASKS ALLOWED" (for safety reasons, haha) I assumed it was a joke or I'd read it wrong or something... maybe my mind just couldn't grasp that would seriously be said by anyone, let alone a business recently on the brink of bankruptcy... Either way, I was wearing an N95 mask (technically a respirator) for everyone else's safety as well as my own and couldn't fathom that being an issue in this world. I proceeded to the counter to check-in for the range and see if they had a Sig I'd been looking for for months, and they told me that "for safety reasons," I had to TAKE MY MASK OFF. Being in the middle of the worst pandemic in 100+ years and still having three functional brain cells, I laughed out loud and replied, "of course that's not going to happen"... They didn't take too kindly to that, and another employee walked over, reiterating the first, saying, "I could either take my mask (technically a respirator) off OR LEAVE." Needless to say, I left disgusted they're perpetuating the worst pandemic in over a hundred years... I hate to lose another local range and small business but will be relieved when they are closed down, and IMHO it can't happen soon enough read more

Had an amazing time at Teds Shooting Range! The Ammo and Fees weren't all that expensive and getting to shoot wasn't all that difficult. The clerk helps check you in to their system, checks firearms and ammo, and off to your lane you go to shoot. I was able to go to this range along with a member and his guns so I saved on the gun rental fees but was able to shoot some guns I never shot before. The storefront itself had some cool merch along with everything you'd ever need for both your firearm and ammo needs! Id definitely be back to Teds when in Arizona! read more

Ted's is my local range, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and customer safety is their number one priority! I have never had a bad experience at Ted's shooting range and I recommend this place to anyone that enjoys the sport of shooting. As I mentioned above SAFETY is the staff's number one priority, and prohibiting masks that conceals a persons identity weather they have good or bad intentions is a safe call, If they have bad intentions, I would like to be able to identify the criminal if a crime is committed, wouldn't you? Also you're are allowed to wear a clear face shield..... The past few times I've been stuck next to people shooting 5.56/7.62 rifles with muzzle breaks. The concussive effect is beyond distracting and ruins the experience.
