Even in the early morning, we always know we can get down with a pitcher of mimosa here! This is a place that we will definitely miss when we haven't been here in awhile! It's the perfect dive bar with huge portions! Usually no problem getting a table unless you come at an extremely popular time! This place is underrated! Pasta was creamy and have flavour, good to pair with alcohol. The nachos are just always good to much on when you are insanely hungry and waiting for the rest of your order.

Went to one of Richmond's classic restaurant and it has become one of my favorite spots to go and it's a plus they're open late night. They have an extensive food menu from breakfast to dinner options. The service is always good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a small and cozy spot so if you're coming with a big group keep that in mind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I definitely recommend this spot to anyone. 10/10

Went in for a birthday Brekki for my partner. Never been here before. I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. The potatoes, however, weren't that good. I would go back to try something else, but not get the potatoes. Service was quick too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibes inside were pretty chill and relaxed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

DAMN!!! One of the best pastas ever, the chicken pesto pasta was amazing. It's very creamy but I loved it like that. Service was good and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the bar is very cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I just came to say that this no frills establishment needs no introduction or help with boosting business but I just wanted to say they have a really delicious ceasar salad! It's huge and plentiful! The right amount of dressing. I order it every time I have a craving on the late night!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The Sidewalk Cafe is a great, historic restaurant in the Fan District.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer a large menu with a wide array of selections. They also have Brunch. I've been here many times! It's a great choice for casual dining and friendly service.

Went to the Sidewalk Cafe for an early dinner and had a great time! The waitress was nice and constantly checking in. Happy hour deals on beers were good, but I wish they had some cocktails on special. Food was delicious with very large portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very cute and quaint, but can get quite loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have TVs which is great if you are trying to catch a game![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A great Sunday brunch at the hopping Sidewalk![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool booths, lively folks, great old restaurant feel meets delicious food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Festive waitstaff hustle the requests. I had the Sarduci. Tasty, not a great homegrown tomato slice, but Cholula makes it all better. The hash browns have a kick and are magnificent. Folks preferred the spicy to the regular Bloody Mary. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cool vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came for a drink..a piece of ground beef fell out the menu and stained my brand new outfit.

I really enjoyed dinner at The Sidewalk Cafe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enjoyably noisy bar vibes with a surpsing deep menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I hope to be back to enjoy the patio when it gets a little warmer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 recommend!

Great vegan options. I especially loved the tofu bites: soft on the inside, extra crispy outside…read more Their habanero wing sauce and garlic hot sauce were both great, as was the vegan ranch. The cauliflower wings were HUGE and the whole table enjoyed them. My partner got the vegan artichoke ("GWARtichoke") burger with tofu ricotta and that was awesome too. Our friend got the tofu banh mi and enjoyed it as well. And there are several more vegan options we didn't get to try this time. Will definitely be back. The atmosphere is.. GWAR! Very neat. And they have a parking lot which is so convenient. Did not love the plastic silverware in little disposable packs. (For dining in, real metal utensils are much appreciated pleeeease). Service wasn't super friendly but maybe it's part of the GWAR schtick (they weren't mean at all, just not the most hospitable). We didn't mind anyway. The food came out fast and they got all our orders right. You order at the bar so it's not like you have a server anyway.

So let me start with this- Everyone should go for the experience. The ambience and GWAR nostalgia…read moreare off the chain. The service was mediocre at best. We actually wondered if it was supposed to be a "Dicks Last Resort " kinda vibe. (The waiter was just this side of rude). The food was ok. The only thing we couldn't get down was the pretzel. It was so salty just looking at it made blood pressure rise. Even with all that though you should still go. It's a fun vibe. Sit and have a beer and take in all the nostalgia.

We went in on a Friday evening and the restaurant was busy. We were starving and ordered 2 entrees…read moreand 1 appetizer. The wings were advertised as double fried so I expected it to be more like a Bon Chon friend chicken wing, but it did not taste battered enough in my opinion. The flavor was still great and they were fresh. I was excited to try the Angry Squid, but the portion was a bit disappointing. The dish was full of flavor; however, it came with two pieces of shrimp and a handful of squid rings. Bulgogi ribeye bibimbap 4/5 - a bit on the saltier side but still had great flavor. I was happy with how fresh everything came out and the ambiance inside was nice. The server was attentive and the food came out quick. Would love to come back for their happy hour that includes 1.50 soju shots and $1 per dumplings (offered M-F 4-7p)

Probably wouldn't go back unless I was craving Korean and ran out of new places to try. Although we read they have a decent happy hour ( $1 dumplings ) so I'd definitely roll for that. ---- Food ---- House Bowl served in a clay pot filled with white rice, house-made kimchi, soybean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, and pickled onions. We got ours with bulgogi ribeye. The flavor was good but wish it came with an egg ( $2.50 extra ). ( 3/5 ) Angry Squid - Squid, shrimp, carrots, cabbage, green onions tossed in our sweet & spicy gochujang mix, served with rice. The portion was really small with only about 8 squid rings and 2 shrimp. The flavor was really good with decent spice. ( 4/5 ) Korean Chicken Wings Honey Gochu - These definitely weren't your traditional Korean chicken wings. The menu read they should be twice fried but they didn't end up having a full coat of batter. Having said that...they were still fine ( 3/5 ). ---- Service ---- Essentially one server also acting as hostess and bartender. She did a great job. Never waited for anything and was nice. ---- Ambiance ---- Quiet and only about 70% full. Well decorated, nice warm lighting.
