We asked to sit on the balcony because it was a really nice night, weather-wise. A girlfriend and I went there to celebrate her getting a new job, and it was so nice! I think it would also be perfect for a lowkey date night! The food and drinks did not disappoint! I ordered the Buzz Me In cocktail, and it was exquisite! The chili added a little bit of kick to it that was perfect! My friend ordered a pineapple daiquiri that she said was delectable. It went perfectly with her honey harissa bowl. I got a sausage honey pizza ($16.5) and it came out in about 25 mins. The honey and sausage were very delicious together. Crust was crunchy . This was a good size to split and munch on between two people without filling up. My only complaint was the service, it wasn't busy when I went and I could see my pizza on the counter done just waiting on the sever to pick it up and drop at the table. It took an extra 5 mins for them to get and drop it on the table. Afterwards when paying the bill they definitely took there sweet time to run the card even thought again it wasn't busy. Tazza has been on my list of restaurants to try in Scott's! I came here with a large party of around eight people, and we were luckily able to make a same-day reservation. Their seasonal cocktail menu is delicious, and all very reasonably priced in the $11-$15 range. I had both a Paloma and Hugo spritz, both which I really enjoyed. The seared chili shrimp was absolutely delicious. I didn't necessarily know what to expect, but the corn was almost like a polenta, and the shrimp was very flavorful and well seasoned. Honestly, the portion was pretty large for one person, but I was pretty hungry and managed to finish it. Service is pretty fast here and our food came out quickly. Scott's Addition is known for cramped parking - and that wasn't a surprise. Staff were all very helpful, friendly and helped guide me to the handicapped access (lift). Our waitress, Christina was friendly and took good care of us. My husband and I defaulted to our 'regular' order to have a comparison. He had the burger with a side of green rice, I had the spaghetti squash with farro and we shared a side order of beets. The burger was the same - but the squash and farro (with added adobo chicken) was presented quite differently. Separating elements of farro; squash; and pine nuts with reduction all in their own place. I really enjoyed the difference. Tazza is truly a modern vibe. The atmosphere is very welcoming when you enter the establishment. They have a full bar to the left as you enter or you can dine at a table and still order from the bar. Our server was very attentive, informative, and added to the welcoming vibe when you first came. My dining experience was a table for two. My husband and I started off with chips, queso, and a wonderful cocktail. The menu had several items to choose from and the most difficult part of this dining experience was selected the right meal. The bathrooms were clean, all the tables were cleaned as soon as customers completed their dining experience. The main dishes, bowls, salads and appetizers all looked amazing when they were delivered to the customer's table (yes I looked everyone's plate ). However, I ordered the Honey Harissa Bowl and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh from the lettuce, fried sweet potato chunks, and the tzatziki sauce was amazing! For my husband he had the Chicken Alfredo where the sauce was freshly made (not a jar sauce), the pasta was tender, and the chicken was thoroughly seasoned. Wish I had brought a friend to share some more treats. The server was very accommodating and I enjoyed the crabcakes, plenty of crab and the 2 were plenty. I did send them back the first time as they were not hot on the middle. Since i didn't want fries, I substituted the sweet potatoes that had a bit of spice. Drinks - their cocktails can hang w the big dogs (i.e., these drinks hooked their weight among other local bars) I recommend the pizzas - especially the spicy sausage and black pepper honey, Mediterranean bowl- especially if you live lentils and halloumi (ugh I drool), and braised beef short rib tacos! I've been coming to this Tazza location for a few years. It's always a great option for any occasion whether I have a work lunch or am catching up with friends. The service is usually great and very accommodating. Reservations can be made on Resy. They also have free parking in a lot across the street, which is rare for Scott's Addition - just be sure to tell the host. All the food I've had is pretty good and they have cute drinks. My favorite dish is the bolognese pasta. I believe the pasta is made fresh and it pairs beautifully with the ragu and parmesan. I also enjoy their pizzas and it's one of the few places where I even eat the crust. read more

Gathered here for a family brunch and it was all of ours first time! It was really pretty and spacious outside and the natural lighting helped keep the space warm and inviting. I ordered the Juna mocktail and it did not disappoint. Man, I have loved and enjoyed this place for going in 10 years. After tonight's experience with our take-out order, never again I'm afraid. My wife and I got two $30 entrees. When we opened the packaging we both laughed. "Is this a joke?" I could probably have eaten my portion of shrimp and grits in five bites. It was tiny. Hardly even a snack. Super disappointing. My wife's was the same. She had a salmon bowl. We sent in a complaint to door dash. We'll see. I just don't know how you could let an order leave the kitchen like that. To start off, this Tazza is in an amazing location to make a night out of it. It's in Scott's addition which is full of breweries, cideries, game bars - it makes for a fun night of dinner and drinks. I will say there are other restaurants in Scott's addition that I enjoy more than Tazza but if you are in the mood for a nicer sit down dinner than this is a solid choice in that area. A super yummy dinner at Tazza! I got the white sangria for a drink which was delicious. We ordered the Cast Iron Goat Cheese for an appetizer and it was AMAZING! I really enjoyed the TK nachos (the tomatillo salsa was an amazing touch) and the cast iron goat cheese (can't go wrong with goat cheese). But the Baja Bowl was what really stood out. My friends and I usually opt for the guacamole appetizer, it's so fresh and tasty! From there, the variety of tacos, pizzas, salad, and bowls are hard to choose between because they all taste so good! I enjoy their crack cakes pair with the simple salad or the spaghetti squash entree. My friends also enjoy the Mediterranean Bowl and Brick Oven Salmon. If you're not looking to have a full meal, they have a nice bar section with specialty drinks and plenty of high top chairs and tvs to watch. It's a very energetic vibe, especially on the weekends. There is a lot across the street for Tazza customers and plenty of street parking options. However, be warned that Friday-Sunday seating & parking maybe be difficult in the evenings. Literally, the best meal in Scott's Addition as far as I can tell. When people visit me from out of town, I always take them to Tazza and it's a huge hit. The ambience is great, cocktails unique, food always amazing and inspired. I especially love their mocktails and low ABV cocktails - which is really thoughtful and definitely crafted with the same care as everything else on their (awesome) bar menu. I could say more about the staff, and will. I've never had bad service, and am always impressed. Also, Tazza goes above and beyond if anything isn't perfect (which is unlikely to say the least - but one time my reservation got misplaced and they simply did too much kindness to make it up). Anyway, great spot. I think any restaurant in Richmond that manages to surprise and impress my NY east village friends has to receive well-earned accolades. read more

We did not have to ask for anything. The chips and queso were really good! The queso was very smooth and had a great flavor to it- almost tasted homemade. We were brought a refill of the chips without even asking or expecting them. I liked that they kept carafe of water on the table. My hamburger was good, but very dry. I had asked for medium well, but it was well. It was a good size. the pizza was very thin and undercooked. There was not enough dough to hold any of the cheese or sauce so it all ran to the middle. It was not good at all. I want to give it more stars because the service was really good and the food presentation was nice.. But the food could've been better. The fries were the best though. It's always so nice inside, well maintained, and spotless every time I visit. When I came in on October 16, 2025, I noticed the menu had changed a bit. The sweet and well-mannered bartender, Miss Maxxi, took such great care of me. She was attentive, professional, and had such a positive energy about her. She gave me a few suggestions, and I decided to try the Tortilla Soup -- and let me just say, it was out of this world! The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced -- you could really taste the freshness and effort put into it. It's easily one of the best soups I've had in a long time. The cast iron goat cheese is amazing and I order it every time I go despite my lactose intolerance. I love good bread and they usually give me extra if I finish the first batch they provide with the goat cheese. The spaghetti squash is also something so unique most places don't have but it's really good. Their scallop risotto is good too but I wish it had more scallops. First meal out of 2024!! Obviously Tazza! Tried something new this time too, and loved it. Got drinks (Paloma and prosecco) and dinner (chicken & carnitas tacos & med bowl) Husband order one chicken tinga taco and one carnitas taco with a side of green rice. He said both were delicious but the carnitas was the best! The green rice was also spectacular with peppers and onions cooked in! I got the Mediterranean bowl for the first time and it was SO good. The hummus was so flavorful, the pickled vegetables were bright and the halloumi cheese was salty and warm. My only complaint is that I subbed the lentils for rice, and the rice was very undercoooked for my liking! May try the lentils next time! This bowl is also served with warm pita. Delicious as usual & great service as always. For a Friday night at 6pm it was surprisingly not as crowded as I would have thought! We sat on the heated patio, I love sitting there!
