Their social media seems relevant to other businesses as well! I recently saw on one of their social media platforms, what I thought was a flight of their summer specials on a drink board. I thought they were advertising flights of drinks, since I have seen this as a trend in other cafés. I asked about it since I saw it on their Instagram, and they crafted me a flight so I don't even know if it was on the menu! I went here on a weeknd after the farmers market to check the area out. When I walked in I really enjoyed the vibe and the seating area. There's a lot of couches and sitting, perfect for studying or working. I decided to get a chipotle chicken sandwich. It was about $12 total but I was a bit disappointed in the sandwich. About 1/3rd of the sandwich I ended up having to pick out the chicken because it was skin/ fat from the chicken. I'm sure it was a rotisserie type of chicken that was used but I wish it was picked out before serving it. Especially when it was $12 for the sandwich. read more

The food is so fresh and I love that pretty much everything is made in house to avoid unwanted seed oils and additives. The Chai latte was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable, like visiting a good friends house. The family run service really makes all the difference. Fast and delicious specialty foods and drinks. The hearty chicken Tortilla soup was a meal itself with so much chicken. Overall very great experience. read more

We were visiting family in Moscow the last weekend in May. After strolling through the fabulous Farmer's Market, we opted to eat lunch at The Silos. It's a cute place but lunch was kind of strange. We ordered three BLAT sandwiches (Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato). We took a few bites of our sandwiches and were perplexed as to the flavors....took a look inside the bread to find the tomatoes on the sandwiches were canned tomatoes...with some type of flavor like you'd find in roasted tomatoes or stewed tomatoes. Not sure what that was about, but not the best tasting sandwich. Strange! Service was marginal...they were bringing orders out for people who arrived after we did...so we finally went in from the patio to see if ours were ready. There were only four of us with simple orders so not sure why our order was delayed. Maybe had to go shopping for canned tomatoes? I really wanted to like this place! read more

This is the cutest coffee shop with the best treats and really friendly employees. I've been here twice now and highly recommend the pumpkin cinnamon rolls. They were sold out the second time I came so I tried a silo roll. It was also excellent! The coffee was great was great, and the matcha latte is also very good! The music is calm and there is lots of room to visit with friends. The great thing is it's not noisy and chaotic, it's friendly and happy. read more

It broke my heart to learn that Silos&Social is affiliated with Christ Church. I went to this restaurant several times over the last year and had a fine experience. the chicken pesto sandwich is really good. the coffee is decent. Service was okay. Kind of a pretentious energy. But I cannot stomach giving my money to a church with such a history of sexual abuse and bigotry. I will not be returning to silos&social and I reccomend that you do the same. In a small community like moscow, we really must take a stand against religious extremism as more and more of our businesses are bought up and owned by kirkers. read more

Great food, and atmosphere to relax and enjoy an good cup of coffee and one of their great choices of sandwiches, or other goods. The only reason i wouldn't give it five it that it takes a long time to get things, which has improved each time i go in but still runs about 10-20min. I see this changing though because they are proactively updating service. read more

This was my first time in to The Silos & Social. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and was thanked for coming in as I left. The pesto chicken sandwich was messy, but it was fresh and hot and it tasted great. I'd order it again. The bag of Vickie's chips on the side was a nice touch. The venue does have some issues that need to be addressed. The only open table hadn't been wiped down after the previous customer and I had to do it myself. I didn't see anyone clean tables at all while I was there. There were only a few napkins at the "condiment" station and no one restocked them when they refilled the self-serve water. The issues are easy to resolve, and I anticipate that things will improve. I plan to come back again. read more

This was my first time there. The person taking my order was somewhat nice at first. I asked her if I could order the tri-tip in the morning. She said "of course, you can order all menu items anytime". Silos may sell more if the menu was not split between mornings and afternoon menus as well as stating that full menu offered all day. I am glad that I asked. The food did take forever as well. After sitting down, several people were still just getting their coffee that they had ordered way prior to me even walking it he door. My order took awhile as it was just under 40 mins to receive my order. I thought I would at least get my drink while I was waiting, but I did not. Everyone else else must have given their name, but she did not ask mine and eventually just called out my menu items. I did not receive my drink and stood and waited 5 mins for the young man to acknowledge me as I waved him over. He kept asking for my name that was on the order and I told him several times that she did not take my name. She then came over and grabbed the can and set it down in front of me without even opening it. I had 4 boxes, a can of soda, and hands full. I then, had to get her attention again to get a bag. I felt completely uncomfortable there and also felt like my order was a burden. I have not been treated that rudely in this town for a long time. It was just an uncomfortable experience. I do admit the ambiance was unique and food was good, however, quite pricey. The tri-tip sandwich was cooked perfectly and very tasty, breakfast sand was a breakfast sand (I would have loved more of the special sauce they put on it!), asiago bagel with cream cheese baked perfectly, I also had the blueberry coffee cake with crispy top that was fantastic. I just wish that I didn't feel so uncomfortable and so treated so rudely. I am not sure why. read more

So good when it opened. Became so-so as it appeared to get busier. After my last two experiences, I won't go back. Food quality has dropped consistently and so has customer service. I rarely see the owner, and that might be part of the reason. I picked up sandwiches a month or two ago; 2 pesto chicken and a BLAT. The BLAT was made with avocado that had been out for a long time, and that made the sandwich pretty unappetizing. And the rubbery bacon was lost in it. The most recent trip was for a tri-tip, a pesto chicken and a bomb grilled cheese. I wasn't told until the chicken and grilled cheese were almost done that there was no tri-tip. I wasn't even given a chance to order something else to complete my order. The bread on the chicken was over-toasted, and the chicken was filled with gristle. So I won't go back. I don't recommend you go either. read more

First time in today and I was impressed. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is lovely and I think I could eat a dozen of their silo rolls. I also got a cherry almond scone and coffee cake. The best Cobb salad I've ever had by far. I didn't get a picture of it cause it looked too good and I was hungry. I'm not too big on coffee but my boyfriend got a mocha and a pour over coffee to go and he said it's his new favorite coffee place. Would 100% recommend this place.
