The Simpsons Ride always has a long queue, and honestly, I'm not sure it's worth the wait. The humor is classic Simpsons, which I enjoy, but the ride itself feels a bit dated. The projections are grainy, the movement is jerky, and I usually walk out feeling more dizzy than delighted. It's a fun concept, but the execution hasn't aged well compared to other attractions in the park. If there's no line, it can be a decent break indoors, but if the wait is stretching past 30 minutes, I'd recommend heading somewhere else. Your head and stomach will thank you.

It's alright. I like Springfield as a whole. The world is great! Makes you feel like you are in the cartoon. The Simpson's Ride is just not it. The Simpson's Ride is outdated. It needs to be changed and made more exciting. It's pretty lackluster. You sit on the car, and it rumbles a bit or moves, while you watch a screen with some goggles. It just sucks. I really hope they re-mark this to be better. Such a disappointing ride. The plus side is I guess it is good for small children. The Transformers ride is very similar to this one. Expect that one is amazing. Maybe they need to add more special effects or something to take this one up a notch? It just seems like there is more they could do to make this one more enjoyable. I don't mind the 3D motion simulator rides.

A ride for the whole family. A simulated journey through Springfield with several bumps, swerves and curves along the way. Based on the show, all the characters we know and love are included in the fun. Each cart has 2 rows of up to 4 people for a total of 8 in a pod room which gives it a personable vibe while also enjoying the ride with others.

The Simpsons ride is a fan favorite, and it often has extremely long wait times. However, during our last couple of park visits, we've rushed over to this ride and found that the wait times have been surprisingly short. It's a simulated ride, so if you don't get a seat in the first row, you might experience some motion sickness. Despite this, I still like it, but I wouldn't recommend waiting in line for more than 25 minutes. Inside the ride, you seat inside a small car that fits four people in the front and four people in the back. The ride takes you as the "tourist" through a theme park with The Simpsons. That whole area where the ride is located has a lot of photo ops and a lot of characters, restaurants, and breweries based on the series.

Probably my favorite ride of them all. Would recommend it. Love the colors and the familiarity with the character.

Even if you don't love the Simpsons or grew up with it on the air, this is still a must try attraction. It immerses you into the realm of Springfield with elements that make it feel very real. Watch out for Sideshow and enjoy the ride on a coaster that's sure to thrill! D'oh! Don't forget this attraction is available once a day for the Express Pass if you purchased.

I love this ride. I do miss the Back to Future Ride but only this one could fill its shoes. Funny and entertaining throughout! This was my favorite ride for years. It might actually still be. I'm not sure but I will let you know in a but! I won a prize outside. Trust me. Here's a tip - keep your shirt on. Thank you

As someone who went to Universal Studios as a child, I miss the Back to the Future ride. I get it. I'm sure the kiddos don't know Back to the Future so things have to change. I'm realizing as I grow older and if I don't get enough rest, I get motion sickness. So considering I hadn't slept well for two nights, this was our last ride of the second day at Universal and I knew exactly what I was going to get into. L O C A T I O N The Simpsons Ride is in the faaaar back near the escalators to go to the lower lot. W A I T The time outside said 40 minutes and we had nothing else left, so we said, fine. It actually didn't take that long to be honest. It's a high loader ride since there's 3 floors where they have several cars that seat 8 people. If they do use all the cars, it's a lot of people in one round. T H E R I D E The ride is roughly 6 minutes long. It's supposed to be a rollercoaster simulation. You're basically staring at a very large screen in front of you which is the same screen all the other cars see. If you're sitting in the front, you can see the other folks in their cars. The car doesn't get flipped around or over, just a lot of jostling and tipping. Still got to me and my stomach. I felt every dip, turn, and movement. O V E R A L L As everyone said it's an old ride. The animation is a bit dated and the cars are definitely a little worn down. But if you're a fan of the Simpsons and know of Sideshow Bob, Krusty, and Simpsons, it's fun. Though I wonder how long this ride will be here considering Disney now owns The Simpsons. Who knows, this ride might be the next one to be replaced. I think if they kind of revamped it a bit, it would be better. It's exactly how I remember it and it was just okay. Something to try if the lines are short and you're needing a place to take shelter from the heat and if you don't have issues with motion sickness.

I have to give this ride a low rating. It made me unbelievably nauseous. I had never struggled with motion sickness previously, so this was a new experience. I went on a Monday, and the line took around 30 minutes. You end up in separate "funhouse" rooms where you get in a rollercoaster car that holds 8 people. The car shakes and moves while you view 3-D animation on a large IMAX screen. The coaster intensely rolls through Springfield, and you get to see all your favorite Simpson characters. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the ride because I had to shut my eyes. The sounds, movements, and screen really got to me and messed me up for the rest of the day. It was a bummer because I love the Simpsons. I would recommend checking out the rest of Krustyland, but I would be very cautious with this ride.

I was super excited to ride The Simsons Ride, as I'm a huge Simpsons fan, and the rest of the Simpsons Land had been amazing. Unfortunately, The Simpsons Ride was a different story for me. It's a 3D motion simulator, and I found out for the first time on this ride that those make me queasy, so be careful about that. The theming is definitely on point, as is the rest of Simpsons Land. The experience you go through is riding a roller coaster through Krusty Land, so the cart is moving up and down like you're on a real roller coaster. More queasiness there, FYI. The screen you look at during the experience is a giant IMAX screen, and (at least the spots we were in) the screen is pretty close to you. Because of this, you have to crane your neck something awful to see everything going on in the experience. So I left with a queasy stomach, neck ache, and headache from craning my neck so much. The theming is amazing and the technology of the ride is super cool. I just wish it didn't bang me ip so bad in the actual execution. Maybe you will have a better ride than I did. Use my review and mistakes to try to make your experience a little better.

I have been a Simpsons fan from the get go. I adore them and all the folks in Springfield. So I was excited to ride this. I did not read any reviews before so I went into this adventure very green. Anyways, this four minute ride is over 16 years old. Each ride vehicle has two rows of seats each row seating up to four people. It has built in speakers and has hydraulic movement in a stationary position. The vehicle shakes about simulating a roller coaster ride. So for folks easily susceptible to motion sickness, be aware. The ride uses 3D animation shown on an IMax screen placed right in front of the vehicle. A bit outdated technology compared to all the other current type rides at the park. I sat in the back row of the cabin and could not see the bottom half of the screen. That center of the screen is about at eye level. It would be more ideal if the screen was lifted higher above the riders eye level so the while screen can be seen regardless of seat placement. The express queue for the Simpsons Ride did end up with the non express folks. We were merged and directed into lines. We waited in an enclosed room with a low ceiling, the room was decorated as a carnival midway. If riders are claustrophobic, this ride may not be the ideal since the low ceiling seem to make the room more confined. Monitors with various Springfield characters appeared providing the s entertainment. Each line of folks were lead a small room also with a low ceiling. It seemed smaller than 10' x 10'. The staff closes the door and leaves us in there to watch the monitor for the pre-ride show. After the video, a staffer opens the adjoining door and ushers us into the room with the ride vehicle. It is a free for all at this point for seating. Crazy. So if you are adamant on sitting in the primo front row, stand closest to the adjoining door when viewing the pre-show. I wish the staff would number folks to keep the lineup from the larger queue so it does not end up in the inevitable shoving match at the end.

Long lines always but maybe worth it if you have never tried it before. It was good in my opinion but if suffer from motion sickness or vertigo. This may not be for you.

Cons: Long wait times. Needs remodeling. Old rails and scenery with chipped paint needs maintenance. Pros: For any Simpsons fan this really is a great ride. It strikes a balance between silly and fun. Hopping on this coaster and going through Springfield is a blast. You get a sense that you're really a part of this adventure. Walking through the lobby, you get to see scenes of the Simpsons from the good old days when it was actually a well written and awesome cartoon. This ride is a virtual roller coaster where you're watching a screen and not an actual roller-coaster. A well designed ride. I would love to see it updated though.

Ask the Community - The Simpsons Ride

How jostling is this ride? I am surprising my daughter in a couple days, but she had had back surgery and can't do major movement. Moderate is fine.…

It's a virtual simulation in a cart of 8 with four people per row. There is constant motion during the ride.

I know its a virtual ride, but does this actually physically drop? Thats the only thing that would trigger my motion sickness.

The car you ride in does physically move. It doesn't so much drop as it tilts.

Basically, for anyone who still believes that the Magic is real. And I'm going to let me let you in on a little secret.... It is, very much Real. So pack your bags, head to Platform 9 3/4 and get on the Hogwarts Express! ALL ABOARD!!!!! To The Wizarding World of Harry Potter @Universal Studios Hollywood we go! --------------------- It was May 23rd, 2026.... We were celebrating my oldest daughter's Birthday who just turned 8 a few days prior. As she recently got into watching all of the Harry Potter movies and being that we hadn't been to Universal Studios in several years, none of us had experienced the Harry Potter World before. On the day of our visit, my oldest wore her Harry Potter outfit (Team Gryffindor, of course). I don't know who was more excited, her or me... But she looked Awesome and her beaming smile said it all! We were at the front gates at opening and our 1st stop was The WW of HP and upon walking through the gates of this Magical Land... We were all immediately transformed into another world. A world of Magic, of Mystery & of course Wonder. It was something special that only you seeing it for yourself will you truly understand the Magic. And as the wise Albus Dumbledore said himself, "Words are in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic." Yes, the true magic are the things that can be said about this place; the stories told, the memories created, the experiences shared by those who had yet to experience it before. And our experience was nothing short of Pure Magic. The Hogwarts Castle is absolutely Breathtaking; I simply could not get enough of it. Yeah, as we walked away for the final time that morning, I just couldn't stop looking back at it as I was filled with joy. From the.... Train conductor at the entrance who posed for a picture with my oldest was in character the entire time and he was a pure gem. To the themed shops, the butter beer, the interactive spots throughout the land were so much fun and it's definitely my new favorite spot within the park... And of course, the themed rides that absolutely did the movies justice and were extra fun because it was our first time. We had a blast! But the most magical part of our experience was the wand shop presentation where a child is selected from the audience as the "chosen one". My daughter was randomly selected as the "chosen wizard" and was pulled front and center to be apart of the wizardry show. It was experience she will hopefully never forget... I know I won't! A huge shoutout to Universal Studios and everyone behind making this place as real as our imaginations imagined Hogwarts would be.... You ABSOLUTELY Nailed it! Until our next adventure..... May the Magic in your heart, the imagination in your head and the hope in your spirit stay young forever.

Lots and lots of animatronics all around and the attention to details must be commended. Even the restrooms are very strongly themed with the background music changing to match and it being underwater themed too. If you have a wristband you can utilize the interactive aspects of this area, but even if you don't, it's definitely a must stop, even if you may not be much of a gamer. We ordered the hot Cuban sandwich, Cobb salad and a large iced coffee latte drink. The Cuban was hot but a little bit soggy but still tasty. Cobb salad super fresh and healthy. Coffee drink was solid with creamy topping. After lunch you begin the self guided portion of the tour which is inside stage 48? Where the restaurant was located. Film technology and costumes on display with various interactive display to participate. Harry Potter, Batman, Superman and other blockbuster movies artwork, costumes and videos on display. So much to discover. Easily spent 2 hours in there. Surprisingly they told us we also had entry into the Superman Experience. We did not know this was part of the tour. It is not mentioned in the marketing online. Unfortunately we ran out of time and had to skip this. Too bad as I think it is super popular. Regardless the tour was unexpectedly very entertaining and enjoyable. Weather was great not too hot. Highly recommended for folks looking for a break from the theme parks. Totally different in a good way from Universal Studio tour.

We upgraded to the TCM tour, which adds time and locations to the standard tour. But at check in, they also offered the Superman Experience for FREE (normally a $40 add-on). Not sure if this is a normal offer or a special occasion, so your experience may differ. Our tour guide, FREDDY, was a wealth of knowledge about the studio, the history, and every movie & TV show imagineable. He brought great energy, humor, and friendliness to the tour. We highly recommend asking for Freddy as your guide if possible. The tour itself was fascinating and fun. There is so much history on the Warner Bros lot. Central Perk cafe was a nostalgic dream come true. Good food at a reasonable price and so much Friends merch. There's an interactive walk-through gallery attached that shows so much history, lets you work a bit on post-production of film scenes, and photo ops with the Friends set and Big Bang Theory. The Superman Experience was incredible! Top Shelf all the way. It's an immersive event- part 3D video game you walk through, and part interactive exploration of the Fortress of Solitude. The area has a really cool bar that serves fun drinks and snacks. Finally we ended up at the self-guided DC Comics/Harry Potter museum where costumes and vehicles were on display. And they added in some cool interactive things to do as well. There's even a Sorting Hat that will tell you which House you belong in. But I protest the hat choosing Slytherin for me. That's BS. LOL We left feeling amazed. Start to finish, the Warner Bros Studio Tour is one of the best experiences in LA. We're local so we've done pretty much all the cool stuff around, and this makes the top 5 for sure. We will be back in October for the Haunted Studio Tour!! Can't wait.

This ride is on the lower lot of Universal Studios, the last time I won on this was almost 20-years ago. They've done a great job at keeping this attraction fresh, with the addition of the Indominus Rex & T-Rex fight, a few extra spitting dimos, and aforementioned Mosasaurus. I took my seven-year-old son on this, who is a huge Jurassic Park lover, but I did not tell him about the 80-ft drop at the end. His face on the ride drop picture was totally worth it! He loved the ride so much that he rode it again with his mom. A few things... - Definitely get a poncho. We didn't do this and got a little wet, but not too bad! - Don't want to wait in line? If you ride solo you can hop right on Pro Tip: If you have child or attendee with you that's neurodivergent you can ask for a guest accessibility card or "IBCCES" through the Universal Studios website. You'll need to apply for this about a week before your visit. This card allows you to skip the line for rides or come back to the ride at scheduled time.

Lol, we didn't know what to expect from this ride but as we got seated before starting, we noticed everyone had ponchos. Definitely expect to get SOAKED throughout the 7-8 minute ride, not just at the end hahaha. I've always been a fan of water-coasters & this one was one of my favorites that I've ridden! Make sure to go on this ride if you're headed to Universal Studios-Hollywood! The wait time wasn't bad at all on the day we went but also, we didn't experience any wait times really at most of the rides we went on this day (except Bowser's Challenge).
