Kids love it. Every few minutes buckets of water would fill up and randomly drop. One hit my 1 year old and he was not happy but it was hilarious. Water shoes or sandals are required. There's a bathroom in the back corner.

Located next to Minion Mayhem, at the exit of the ride is this play zone area the entire family could enjoy. With inspiration from the Despicable Me movie, this section includes the ride Silly Swirly Fun Ride, a medium speed soaring outdoor ride that glides around, up and down. There is also the splash pad, climbing and sliding apparatus and the Super Silly Space Killer game. There is also a merchandise store and cafe to purchase food and snacks.

For kids mostly!! Super Silly Fun Land at Universal Studios Hollywood is great for kids! It's just a fun area of the park. I do usually skip it, because I'm an adult. However, it's still fun because the rides are so simplistic. There are Minions everywhere! You are sure to find great Minion gifts here. The area can get pretty crowded. I think many people come over to Super Silly Fun Land before or after they go to Despicable Me or The Secret Life of Pets. Those rides are right next to the Super Silly Fun Land. This is a nice place for kids to hangout and have fun. It might not be as exciting for adults. Every now and then, I like to come here and check out the water park. Sometimes if it is really hot at Universal Studios, I will run through the water park to cool down lol I can't be the only adult that does this lolol

Cool spot to see the minions

Pretty silly, always super, and mostly fun! Super silly fun land comes out on top with 4 stars. There are plenty of things to do and see here. They have games with prize win guarantee, gift shops, and water park experiences galore. I think this land could improve by adding a ride for adults (and kids) in here. Since this area is kid only... and also draws a lot of adults it would be cool to add to the mix. The trash cans here are cute cause they're shaped like the characters. This is a very sunny part of the theme park and probably one of the most crowded areas. This place is nice to walk through and enjoy a little dose of minions.

Super Silly Fun Land at Universal Studios Hollywood is a great place to stop and take a break from some of the theme park rides and stores! We stopped by Super Silly Fun Land on our latest adventure at Universal Studios Hollywood, on a Thursday, early February. The area didn't have too many people visiting at the time. There's a lot of interactive activities in Super Silly Fun Land. It's Minion-inspired by Illumination's Despicable Me. There are approximately 80 different water activities that you can do here! Some of those activities include a splash pad, climbing, and sliding! There is a ride here as well, Silly Swirly, that you can soar above the theme park for a 360-view of Super Silly Fun Land. It reminded me of the Dumbo ride in Disneyland California. There is also a minion dedicated store inside Super Silly Fun Land called Super Silly Stuff. You'll find all minion type merchandise and apparel! There are some additional memorabilia items like key chains and mugs that are offered as well! Don't forget to check out the arcade game inside Super Silly Fun Land too! You can try to win the Minion game prizes or even your own Unicorn Plushie!

This is the funniest land of them all. Minion themed with a free water park! It's centered around kids, but it's super silly and fun like the name suggests. Lots of games (though you have to pay, like a fair that comes to town), a meet and greet area, food area, and a shop. Really well designed and fun to walk through.

    Fun land!

Definitely more for kids but walked through here to the despicable me ride. Lots of fun and laughs and vibrant colors everywhere and it's very silly. Got to check it out while You're in the park!

    Steve is here!

The first area…read moremy group (4 young adult women) went to upon getting there around opening time was the Super Mario world. My friends are way bigger fans of that whole world than me. I had my phase of Mario Kart when I was 8-10 years old, but that was it. They kept the Mario kart ride moving smoothly; the ride said 45 minutes but I feel like the time went by faster as we were always moving in a perpetual fashion. It was a fun ride; my only complaint was that I wish it was moving on the track faster. We were stagnant at several points waiting for the cart to continue moving. I also was shooting at everything I saw the entire time AND moving along the track with my friend next to me and then end up getting LITERALLY 0 COINS at the end like what?? Anyway, we didn't spend all day at the park since we had other obligations in the evening, but I feel like the amount of activities we did, it was not worth the $150 ticket plus $40 in parking. But that's how any amusement park is nowadays, so can't really complain I guess. The outside shopping section outside of the actual park was really neat; a lot of niche shops ranging from an autograph place to Sephora (so ANY mall-esque store you could think of). All of the food and beverages we tried, such as the cone Mac & cheese and the Mario sodas were pretty good, just pricey, as usual. Lots of shopping potential both inside and outside the park.

The rides, on the other hand, were underwhelming. Jurassic World was the best of the bunch, followed by the Harry Potter rides. Everything else was just okay. The VIP experience includes unlimited rides, but honestly, nothing in the park felt worth it enough to ride more than twice. If I were visiting purely for the rides, I'd choose Disneyland over Universal every time. In fact, if it weren't for my excellent tour guide, my recommendation would be: skip the Universal tour, pay for the Warner Bros. tour instead, and spend your ride-time at Disneyland.

Basically, for anyone who still believes that the Magic is real. And I'm going to let me let you in on a little secret.... It is, very much Real. So pack your bags, head to Platform 9 3/4 and get on the Hogwarts Express! ALL ABOARD!!!!! To The Wizarding World of Harry Potter @Universal Studios Hollywood we go! --------------------- It was May 23rd, 2026.... We were celebrating my oldest daughter's Birthday who just turned 8 a few days prior. As she recently got into watching all of the Harry Potter movies and being that we hadn't been to Universal Studios in several years, none of us had experienced the Harry Potter World before. On the day of our visit, my oldest wore her Harry Potter outfit (Team Gryffindor, of course). I don't know who was more excited, her or me... But she looked Awesome and her beaming smile said it all! We were at the front gates at opening and our 1st stop was The WW of HP and upon walking through the gates of this Magical Land... We were all immediately transformed into another world. A world of Magic, of Mystery & of course Wonder. It was something special that only you seeing it for yourself will you truly understand the Magic. And as the wise Albus Dumbledore said himself, "Words are in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic." Yes, the true magic are the things that can be said about this place; the stories told, the memories created, the experiences shared by those who had yet to experience it before. And our experience was nothing short of Pure Magic. The Hogwarts Castle is absolutely Breathtaking; I simply could not get enough of it. Yeah, as we walked away for the final time that morning, I just couldn't stop looking back at it as I was filled with joy. From the.... Train conductor at the entrance who posed for a picture with my oldest was in character the entire time and he was a pure gem. To the themed shops, the butter beer, the interactive spots throughout the land were so much fun and it's definitely my new favorite spot within the park... And of course, the themed rides that absolutely did the movies justice and were extra fun because it was our first time. We had a blast! But the most magical part of our experience was the wand shop presentation where a child is selected from the audience as the "chosen one". My daughter was randomly selected as the "chosen wizard" and was pulled front and center to be apart of the wizardry show. It was experience she will hopefully never forget... I know I won't! A huge shoutout to Universal Studios and everyone behind making this place as real as our imaginations imagined Hogwarts would be.... You ABSOLUTELY Nailed it! Until our next adventure..... May the Magic in your heart, the imagination in your head and the hope in your spirit stay young forever.

As much as people praise Disney, there is no "land" that impressed me as much as Super Nintendo World (may be slightly biased since I'm more familiar with this IP than with Star Wars). Lots and lots of animatronics all around and the attention to details must be commended. Even the restrooms are very strongly themed with the background music changing to match and it being underwater themed too. If you have a wristband you can utilize the interactive aspects of this area, but even if you don't, it's definitely a must stop, even if you may not be much of a gamer. Bright, vibrant colors and so so much to work out. The fact that the "world" is stacked so high in the sky, really gives you the strong feeling of immersion as you are surrounded by everything you'd expect from jumping into a Super Mario game. Lots of photo ops with characters and just with the land as a back drop. There's the Toadstool Cafe, the Mario Kart ride, a shop, and so, so much to look at. Can't wait to come back again one day and not be rushed to finish all of the Fan Fest festivities.

In the morning they served juices, coffee, tea, water, chips, cookies, danish to munch on before the tour started. Caveat is you only have 15 minutes to relax and enjoy before leaving for the tour. Various hot and cold sandwiches, salads, chips and a full selection of hot or cold, large or small coffee drinks. Even some blended coffee drinks. We ordered the hot Cuban sandwich, Cobb salad and a large iced coffee latte drink. The Cuban was hot but a little bit soggy but still tasty. Cobb salad super fresh and healthy. There's an interactive walk-through gallery attached that shows so much history, lets you work a bit on post-production of film scenes, and photo ops with the Friends set and Big Bang Theory. The Superman Experience was incredible! Top Shelf all the way. It's an immersive event- part 3D video game you walk through, and part interactive exploration of the Fortress of Solitude.
